Pukkah: It is greed. It is even beyond greed. You are on point my brother |
ypzilanti: Fate has been kind to a man so horrible.gbammmmmmmm, gbammm People tend to forget their roots when they get power. I just pray for the best for Nigeria during this ramadan |
tell me, is this not greed ? How can ONE MAN own land the size of a city ? SMH |
eGuerrilla: Some perspective... |
alj harem: I don't know where you got all that from. Too much lies on this forum self, how has electricity improved ? If you ask me, it has worsen.can Bella and other GEJ goons answer these questions. Why do u keep lying ? The reality is different from what you people are painting people to see here. CHAI !!! SMH |
![]() Seun: Done. |
jmaine: Afam, how dare you challenge the Olori of this land with impunity ? @ OLORI of this land ![]() Mods abeg unban Afam4eva o !!! He is a gentle man and we that don't agree with his view understand him. It was a mistake Iya wa Mukina ![]() |
HammedSodiqq: Our impatience and lack of commitment to our own is the reason for all our wahala. GEJ is trying. His transformation agenda is geared towards delivering the gains of democracy and realising vision 2020. Our enemies on the contrary are working to see him fail. They forment trouble and fuel insecurity, they instigate religious intolerance and spread untrue stories. As well meaning nigerians, let's shame our enemies by supporting Govt. Atlest we now have free and fair election, improvement of power, academic reformation and so on. Let's support him to do moreI don't know where you got all that from. Too much lies on this forum self, how has electricity improved ? If you ask me, it has worsen. Academic reformation free and fair election was also done by the military even the corrupt IBB and co did a free and fair election. although kudos to GEJ on that. |
Interesting. ![]() You may need a support group soon.
lol that was why if you remember quiet correctly, I was asking you what part of Isale Eko are you from last year.We should support any group that is looking for a better State. ACN is the most obvious choice right now but Tinubu us clearly dragging ACN back with his corrupt practises. |
When I see my eastern brother's ignorance it is really really annoying. We love Igbos a lot that is the truth/ A FACT !!!, we do not discriminate in fact Igbos discrimate against Yorubas in Lagos but we accept it cause according to you all we are cowards and dirty but we know who we are. We are all Lagosians but what really annoys yorubas here on nairaland is the way 1. You try to laying to Lagos when we Aworis-Ogus aka Yorubas first started knowing Igbos around the 50's. There was nothing called Igbo to us before other than weed or bush in our language. We can live in peace but leave our politics alone for the sake of peace and trust. We have a very good relationship with Igbos and we put igbos through God in positions of authority in our land because we see a bigger picture. We are not tribalistic but don't try to force anything, if an Igbo would even be governor then so be it but please let it happen naturally without letting us know whether he is Igbo or not because we see him as a Lagosian. You calling him Igbo etc and knowing how mouthy una be would only make us angry. Not that we can do anything but please do the right thing by showing that you care about the state and her people( igbo yoruba hausa etc) rather than just wanting to rule. 2. How can someone say we Aworis/Ogu are the owners of Lagos. I am an Awori-Ogu prince and I can tell you categorically that the whole of Lagos state is not Awori-Ogu but shared among four clans in the yoruba nation- Awori (majority) Ogu, Ijebu and Egba. All of which are all Yorubas. None of una can differentiate a yoruba man from Kabba from a yoruba man from Lagos so this hypocrisy is annoying. Other Yorubas in the position of government today in Lagos is not a mistake, It was agreed upon cuz we are part and parcel of the yoruba race aka Oduduwa. If A man from Ogbomoso cannot speak for me, is it a man from Onitsha that can ? C'mon lets reason here and think like grown ups. lastly awori itself is a mixture of ethnicities etc from nupe, bini, egba, ijebu, ogu, ilaje, itsekiri, brazilian, saro etc BTW why can't we just vote for someone that would make our lifes better than than pick his ethnicity out. I am an Awori-Ogu man from Isale eko second generation/ Badagry first generation and I DO NOT SUPPORT TINUBU !!!! |
samkoro: I rather be silly than be a dick sucker like you. Cursing people is the hallmark of the yoruba.I made a simple statement and ur calling me silly. Is that what u call ur dad.If ur dads name is silly,do not call me that.U people made us yorubas on Nairaland the way we are. Why not to talk to ur brother than was saying rubbish about yorubas first ? |
does anyone know why Tinubu is hounding houses from Lagosian ? |
Now that is settled @ Tinubu a55 lickers, one day your love for this asiwaju would out u all in serious wahala. Tinubu has virtually made Lagos state his personal property. All the lands in Lekki, part of Ajah, etc have been sold to him by the Elegushi family ![]() Tinubu is the cause for ur hardship. Better wake up. Land and houses in Lagos are now too expensive Where did tinubu get to the money to build his Oriental hotel ? anyone |
Danka7777: You are talking as if Lagos is inherently a yoruba state; don't forget it used to be the capital. On record, Igbos account for about 20-30% of the population and virtually control half of the businesses. These are facts my friend! Please tell us Igbo economic contribution. Thanks |
samkoro: I wonder how ur monkey brain interpreted what I wrote.Ur stinking tribalistic self cannot allow u to through a simple sentence.I said ;lagos politics should be left to Original Lagosians like the Aworis and not non-indigenes like you,me,Tinubu and fashola.Fashola and Tinubu are not from LAgos. They are from Ekiti state.Nope Lagos politics is different. It is a state we have left out for other Yorubas from other states to rule. None of your business Nwannem. Leave us Aworis to face our brothers biko cuz they are indigenes as well. A state is just an imaginary line. So long as u are oduduwian you are an indigene. |
samkoro: The original owner/settlers in Lagos are the Benin poeple Aworis.Tinubu and Fashola are not Lagos indigenes.Let's leave Lagos politics for Lagos indigenes alone.Bros you must be talking from your nose. You must be the biggest mumu on earth to think you have more right than a man from Igbomoso, Illorin and co. Fashola is an Awori man from Mushin, go get your facts right. Tinubu is not an indigene of Lagos but from Osun but today he is part and parcel of Lagos cuz he is Oduduwa. Segun Agaga is not even yoruba but bini but today he is part and parcel of Lagos cuz he is bini aka part of Oduduwa. Same would occur if a man from Kogi or delta. BTW When you talk of Awori or Ogu please don't try to separate us from Yoruba cause we are yorubas. Only a silly man like you would do such. dayokanu: Asiwaju Tinubu would pick another Fashola for us. Thank youYour Asiwaju would do nada. ACN rest on Oshomoile and Fashola's acheievement. What PDP needs to do is pick a better candidate and they stand a good chance. |
SamAfrik: No party has d right 2 impose itself on the citizens.gbammm gabmmmmmm tell this ACN goons o !!! Once Fashola is gone, I wonder who they would pick |
saipn: I wonder why most of u guys pay attention to cyril statement, being from eastern part of the country i can never claim lagos because i know my root.why cant we igbos go to kano state and claim the post of deputy governor?why is it that we always like yorubas to call us parasite because we always claimed what is not oursThank you o !!! We love Igbos but it seem that our gentle nature has given us the reputation of a walk over we love it like that. ![]() |
PDP can still win Lagos state if any of the two occur 1. Fashola decamp to PDP 2. PDP nominate a very credible candidate with track record. @ My yoruba/Edo brothers/Lagosians, please focus on the thread and ignore these ideeiots. |
well what do I expect from these two Igbotic ideeiots. Even serri leano Saro people would tell you they have no Igbo not to talk of Lagos. Tell me there family names so we can search the record not just spewing trash from your mouths. Igbo ko Igbokoda ni. rubbish I am a proper Awori-Ogu man from Lagos and the family records can be dug out to know who is who. If you are not Yoruba/edo you have no say even worse Igbo. No way Just keep deluding una selves. whatever makes una sleep tonight. LOL |
afam4eva: O boy, that Luanda make sense oo. Some countries are really making giant strides without the world knowing. Just see how lush that city is. There's not part of lagos that's half as fine as Luanda.haba bros afam, how can you say that. You have been to some parts of VI, Ikoyi and lekki before Banana Island nko ? But yes Angola makes sense. |

Hmmmm words, you are very correct. |
u no well at all ![]() ebere1712: Lagos is country |
afam4eva: Here foes the derailment. @ Al_harem and Shymmex, abeg make una no derail this thread na.Bia nwanne, how have I derailed the thread. I was just correcting Ngodigha aka Andre Uweh to stop lying to Nairalanders about his Identity. Shekena, I no be deltan na |
Andre Uweh: ^^For how long must you keep fooling yourself here. The Scottish missionaries who pioneered christian evangelism in the east did so with the help of recaptives who first settled in Badagry and later to Abeokuta. To accomplish this task, the Scottish missionaries dispatched with returnees of Igbo and eastern Nigerian stock who will be better suited in their mission.Maybe you are the one fooling yourself here because you cannot just talk/make claims without evidence. I would be a fool to believe ur crap when I have my own facts and not just talking. Now tell me the names of the families that were returnees ? Anyone that is Igbo among them Having a full English name does not deter them from knowing they are Igbo and his origin can be traced. There are no Igbos in the record, stop this stu.pidity already brother. |
Revolva: Hey mr man don't come here and say what you don't know you are not an igala person neither you know anything about us and I am sure you are just copy pasting from google as ur research are correct no doubt but what I made this topic is to let many nigerians who don't know much about the igala and idomas tribe because we are so called minority and also try to point a link of cultutral identity with our fellow neigbours the igbos and yorubas which influenced us , what do you mean body features look if I dress like an ijebu man and visit ogun state you will speak ijebu dialect to me , we are black and its confusing you should know there are southern igalas and idomas the ones sharing border with enugu anambra especially .well pls even the diety of the anambra north and ebu community in osimili north delta are igalas ask any elder from there from origin igalas intermarry them and we influemced each otherDude that is my understanding about Igala. LOL this is inferority complex because I never mentioned anything about Igala or Idoma being Minorities, that only exist in your head my brother. I don't see any group as a minority. Now from what you are telling me, you influence delta north and anambra north ? Yes I know thanks for that. All I am pointing out is that there is nothing like Yoruba or Igbo look imo. it all deals with perception of who/what you are looking at. Again thanks my brother. I learnt a lot from you. |
PDP vs ACN Devil vs Satan LOL politics sha |
shymmex: I'm just telling you to claim your real tribe, so that, I can ascertain who the friendly tribes are - and where to visit when I'm in Nigeria... I know the Urhobos, Isoko, Ijaw, and all the other tribes east of Yoruba land don't really like Yoruba people - except Edo, Itsekiri, and the tribes from Cross River...LOL |
ifihearam: @alh haremNope I am Yoruba from Lagos |
Andre Uweh: Are you mad or what. How on earth can you believe that only Yorubas were resettled in Lagos. The recaptives were renamed and came to Lagos with foreign names. So it will be very difficult for you to see names such as Okereke, Okafor, Okonkwo, Okorie etc.I don't think you can read. Maybe you are just on one of ur stu.pid days. Saro people have nothing in connection with Igbos at least the ones in Lagos. Go argue with ur silly types not me. Again listen and listen carefully we aworis are not of one origin. I am trying to explain this to u and u are not understanding. The so called hausas, edos, egbas, nupes ijesha etc all came together today and are called Aworis. We have sections and family names for record of these families and how they migrated. Saros that migrated are 90 % of yoruba origin while others are not of Igbo origin but of serri leano origin. Stop telling lies on the internet. Taylor and others u are calling did not arrive or settle in Lagos cause there names would be in this record so STFU. If you are not of Egba, Ijebu, Awori and Ogu origin, you have no business in Lagos or her history. You Andre Uweh, an Igbo man have not say or distortion to our history cause ur brain cannot comprehend it silly tribalistic man. If you no know just say and stop lying to people on the internet. |
ifihearam: Hmmmmmy brother, we get them plenty for Niaraland |
Ngodigha1: Piggy, you are not the one to tell where am from. You must be a fool to dispute my origin. Stinking pig.abeg go siddon and stop this lies Andre Uweh. Ok what anioma are you from ? Ibusa is just an area. |
