Please brothers lets not be tribalistic like them. We know would we are and know who others with well planned cities migrate in millions to Lagos, Ibandan, Akure and co.

When a person like me see an Igbo man, one thing that comes to my head is positivity and team work. Igbos are very optimistic.

I love Igbo women music and others like P square.

They are good people in general and know how to connect well with others. Most other Nigerians have preconception about Igbos but me and the people I know in person love Igbo people.

I rarely have disagreements with igbos unless of course I come on Nairaland. LOL

Igbos are generally kind hearted ( at least the ones in Lagos, Rivers and Imo) just like other Nigerian groups. Still learn the language though.

In Awori I though the saro people of Nigeria were classified as part of the awori-ogu sub group in the yoruba nation.

I can give you 5 reasons why Nigeria should not break up

1. No one wants to experience another civil war again

2. Nigeria market favours some of us that are traders especially hausas, yorubas and igbos

3. A country like niger-delta would be invaded by neigbouring countries eg baifra, cameroon etc

4. Each country would be the laughing stock of the world as our economies would mean nothing

5. Too much investment by other Nigerians in states/cities like Abuja and Lagos. I don't think they are ready to lose that !

However, we don't throw the baby out with the bath water. The onus is on Fashola to first deliver, while we work on the process of accountability. Not perfect, but that's the Nigerian reality.

We are coming from an era where people steal and do nothing. Now, people are still stealing, but now doing something. We have to consistently increase the pressure, and engage with more intelligence. What Nigerians do mostly is complain. Imagine that the Lekki Concession toll was signed as far back in 2001, and nobody in that area said anything! All of a sudden people are acting surprised to see toll gates. People need to engage government more intelligently, and learn how to push these people to do what we want them to do. If we are unable to engage government intelligently, it means there is something wrong with us as well.
