]WHY ARE SOME NIGERIANS SO DUMBhuh

Sanusi isn't the originator of the Islamic Banking System. It is the Law of ALLAH (God).

Who told you christian's to Disobey God's laws in order to favour your so called modernization and greedy selves?

Checkout the Holy Quran for Allah's stance on Usury/riba (interest). And then you will know Islam is the ONLY RELIGION because even after 2,000 years its laws MUST still be obeyed unlike these greedy and clueless christians that have sold their religion to the highest bidder.

My dear brother Alj-harem,

I was going to stop responding to that Edo transplant before I saw your post.

Lagosians are very few and in many cases related to one another. All you have to do is mention your name and they will trace you to your father and mother.

Ijebu and Egba are not Lagosians and they will be the first to tell you because they also have a history that trace them back to their father or compound. Nevertheless all Yoruba relate to Ife and Oyo. So some Lagosians from Ijebu, Egba and other Yoruba land that returned as free slaves also settled in Lagos close to people with the same culture and language.

As for me personally, a mixture but with well recognized name in Lagos.

There are Omo-Eko and Ara-Eko. You may qualify as Ara-Eko my brother.
ok nice to know, thanks for ur reply

i am omo-eko and i can trace my linage as far the first oyekan in lagos if not further back if not for which i believe is about 2 centuries ago

thanks once again
I think politically its a dumb move by the SE PDP,who always lack sophistication. Their tenure is up next year march,so getting that position now is not going to change anything or work in their favor. It would be naive for them to be thing about an Igbo PDP candidate instead of an Igbo candidate regardless party affiliation. There is no way an Igbo candidate will ever come out of PDP so they need not waste time and save themselves the trouble.

The SE is position pretty good, although not the best, but good enough. They have an opportunity to make things easier for them. They have the NE and SW battling each other. The smart thing to do would be to keep it that way. The SW PDP is already being ridiculed, etc for their low performance. It would be smart to put their support behind the SW for that position. It would weaken the North's influence, especially leading up to 2015. This will also make for better support for the SE by the SW,politically(party based, though).

Maybe someone can give me a better insight though. huh
grin grin grin grin clever dude grin grin grin

ok i did not know the national Party chairman only last for a year and then zone to another region

if so, then u are right

but if it is not zone to another region then i would be wise to hold on to it, this is politics and the game is grab as much as you can when u have the chance, do not be caught sleeping when it is ur turn and that is why the SW HATES OBJ

i don't mind if some one can confirm this

Which one is "our history"? Could that be the one you claimed are two Omo-onile, one from Lagos and another from Benin?

Nobody, not even the revisionist historians from Benin has ever said that. Lagos belongs to Omo-onile that are the children of Ogunfuminire and nobody has ever argue that fact until I saw your version on internet. Are you sure you are a Lagosian or part of Benin from Ife that bear Yoruba name and speak Yoruba in Oba palace?

More reference: Professor Ekeh an Urhobo man on Ogiso years and their relationship to Benin. You may also want to read Prof. Ade Ajayi on the same.

A real Lagosian knows his history with or without books, a real Yoruba knows his history with or without archeology. I know Lagosian, you are not one of them.
