For mine, I’m awaiting the July 2022 draws and I’d like some clarification. I came into Canada through study permit and now I’m on a work permit. When I apply for the FSW pathway in July, I want to use an employment history different from what I filled when I applied for a study visa. I hope it won’t matter ? Thank you so much

It matters. I’ve seen cases where they dug up old application details and asked people to explain how they were able to work at two places at the same time

Hello Seniors in the house, kindly avail me your kind assistance to clear some confusion off my OINP application.

I recently received NOI from Ontario under the french speaker stream but my huge confusion is based on n NOC.

Primary NOC on my EE Profile is Civil Engineer 2131 experience gotten from 2 organisations with the period of 2010 and 2016.
The my current experience if from 2017 April till date under NOC 0711.
Having received NOI from OINP, one of the requirements is your work experience must be within the last 5years (so I assumed that my NOI is based on 0711) AND must be in the same primary NOC you declared on your express entry profile.

Kindly help me clarify if OINP notification of interest is based on
1. NOC of experience within last 5years (so I can edit my primary NOC on my EE Profile to 0711) or

2. They use primary NOC keyword to send notification of interest so I can edit my recent NOC to 2131.

The truth is that my job descriptions at work suits the two NOCs because I work across board.

I assume they send NOI based on primary nocs but to be sure, Google the details of the draw on the date you got NOI and see which of your nocs are listed there.
Don’t edit your primary NOC no matter the result of your findings. They already sent you NOI so you have whatever it is they want. When applying submit reference letters for both your primary and secondary nocs.

No differences, just make sure to choose the paper test if you’re not accustomed to writing computer exams

You need to raise a webform for new passport cos your PPR is probably right around the corner. I don’t think it’s necessary to inform them about the promotion

I will like to know, at what stage will I need to submit my kids passport and my marriage certificate.( Just thinking that they will demand for the certificate since I am coming with my husband as the dependant.)

They open up the slots every Monday. I think you might still see May 31st next Monday cos last Monday May 30th and 31st were still available.

I don’t know if any province invites mechanical engineers. You can Google the occupations in demand list of the following provinces and see

Thank you ma for taking time to assist. The picture attached request for the date that I applied, I applied first before they sent list of documents to send back to them ( which they will get soon). So, in the letter of intent to Ontario, do I need to tell the officer why I had to apply to Québec. How that I received Québec ITA but didn't want to apply but due to no OINP NOI in March for my stream I had to take Québec. That I will be willing to discontinue with Québec once given nomination certificate of Ontario. Will that be fine to say in the letter ?

Yeah but with a little more subtlety. Something like even though Ontario wasn’t the first province to issue you ITA, they’ve always been your number one choice of province to stay with your family. Then list reasons why you think you and your family would fare better in Ontario than any other province. The language, the weather, jobs etc. Imo, You don’t have to mention Quebec in the letter for now, let it stay implied. Unless they specifically send you ADR asking you to prove you’ll choose Ontario over Quebec if nominated.

You have to answer the question truthfully, lying could get you in trouble. If you have no intentions of submitting your documents to Quebec any longer, you can just answer no. But if you’re choosing to go ahead with both pnps for now, then answer yes.

Ontario let’s you write a letter about why you want to live in their province. I think you should use the letter to show the officer that Ontario is your real first choice. I don’t think applying to another province earns you an automatic rejection

I had the opportunity of doing this with my (virtually unknown) former workplace cos they had very high interest rates compared to popular banks and the rest but decided against it cos I didn’t want unnecessary scrutiny and long timelines. So I get your question. I doubt they’ll deny you if you do that, the worst can happen is additional investigation.

You’ll get a mail telling you there’s a new message on your EE profile. You’ll see the NOI on your profile

Thank you, I have not een requested to submit an additional document. I just needed to Upload it considering that I only submitted Proof of Appointment and Payment for Medicals Prior to submitting my application. Cos I dont want any loop holes with application. Infact I just submitted on the 25th Of April. I really hope its updated soon. I will also reach out to the email shared, Thanks a lot.

Oh ok I get now. Keep sending the webforms and try the emails on a weekday because they may get ignored on weekends

Hello @Haircombb, I am having the same issue with Webforms as well, I submitted my medical form via webforms considering I had to submit my application before medicals but I am yet to get a response. Calling them has not been fruitful as well. The entire thing is so frustrating

I’m in you people’s shoes too but from past experience, webforms can take as long as 2-3 months before you get a response. Not planning to call at all, just don’t have the energy for that kinda frustrating venture.

I assume the ‘Additional documents’ part of your EE profile was showing ‘additional document requested’ after you received ADR. When it’s updated, it should change to we are reviewing then Not Applicable. That’s what happened when I got ADR for RPRF, don’t know if it works the same way for medicals.

I got adr for remed, proof of employment and renewed passport on Feb 3rd, deadline for submission was 3rd of March. I was able to do my remed and submit my proof of employment but I had delay renewing my passport.

I attached a LOE stating why I will not be able to meet the deadline for passport submission and attached my data capture appointment as evidence. I received no response concerning an extension.

I got my renewed passport on 15th of March and uploaded it immediately via webform. I haven't gotten a response from the webform till date. I also sent several webforms after that, no response.

I tried calling Ircc several times too, but was not able to get through. I ordered for gcms notes too and it's past 30 days, I have not gotten any response.

How else do I get in contact with IRCC to know what is happening with my application?

There’s no short cut o, you just have to keep calling and sending web forms. If you know your VO you can mail them directly too. I think there’s an app (viber?) people use to call to avoid wasting a lot of money on failed calls.

You can also send to Lagos, in fact ideally you should send to Lagos since that’s the office closest to you and you won’t have to pay again since that’s where you did your biometrics but lots of people have reported that Lagos takes over 2 months so they try to cut the time shorter by sending to Accra, Kenya, Germany, Cairo etc, where they can sometimes get their passports back in 3 weeks.

I intend sending to Lagos when I’m ready cos I don’t mind the wait.

thanks for the feedback, i just used the the CRS tool, turns out that it doesnt matter if i maxed out the writing task, does not have effect on my score. SAD, reading minimum score must be 7.0, i might write it again. I dont know yet or i will abandon it altogether and face my school route.

I know it’s expensive but this isn’t a big enough setback for you to abandon the entire journey. Try studying well then registering again. You’ve done it before, I’m pretty sure you can get a score similar to your expired one

Wow you finally got the ready for visa mail? Congratulations. You don’t need to inform them about pregnancy, I believe the mail mentions the kind of circumstances you need to inform them about. Just send your passport and other requested documents. How soon you hear from them depends on which office you send to. Accra takes about 6 weeks I think.

Oh I just noticed the ‘got engaged’ part. What’s your plan? You can travel, get your PR, come back, get married and start the spouse application process which will take about a year.

No idea, but I don’t think it’s smart applying to two provinces at the same time. There’s likely to be a question asking if you’ve applied to any other provinces. Why don’t you put a pause on Quebec for now and focus on oinp. Do you have a deadline for Quebec?

I once got PTA with a return ticket that was almost a year away, unless they’ve changed the rules

Incase bank statement is suppose to be provide does he need to provide bank statement for entire period he worked which was 2 years or just 6 month is enough? I will be glad if you respond.

4-6 months is fine. 2 months at the start of the work period and 2 months at the end.

I have a degree in philosophy from University of Benin and also a Post graduate diploma in Public Administrationfrom Noun and from what I have seen on WES website I can only submit my highest certificate for evaluation so I am kinda confused if I send in the PGD certificate will WES acknowledge it as two certificate considering that I also have a degree? Please help me

If a PGD and BA would get you a ‘2 or more certificates’ then you should evaluate the two.
I think that instruction is for people who have say BSc and MSc. Their scores wouldn’t improve whether or not they evaluate their BSc.

I'm trying to gather my documents but I'm a bit confused with the work experience and I was hoping anyone here can clear things up for me.

I would like to know when sending proof for work experience do you only provide reference letters or you will have to provide other documents.
For Example
My husband used to work with the Ghana education service as a teacher, he got a job offer outside the country and he took it. we want to use his work experience with the Ghana education service to get points in our EE profile, but we are not sure if they will require a pay slip or other document aside from the reference letter, because since he left the service it's impossible to get any documents from the Ghana education service but his headmaster in his old school and his circuit supervisor is willing to provide a reference letter, aside he also has his Ghana national teachers association card.

If your husband isn’t the principal applicant, you don’t need to submit proof of his work experience in Ghana. But if he is the PA you might need to submit his bank statement showing salary payments. Some people have gotten PPR by submitting just work Experience letter in IRCC format and nothing else (make sure the letter lists every single detail that IRCC requires) but if you do get ADR for additional proof, you can send the ID card, tax records (if any) and a letter of explanation on how you have been able to get documents from the Ghana education service.

Look for alternative means of funds then e.g gift deed or sale of a different property, pension funds cos what you’re saying is you don’t have the complete POF, you can’t apply without that.

In your case, the complete POF will be the amount listed for your family size plus enough money to take care of your car loan. You can’t write them a LOE saying you plan to sell the car after you quit to make up POF. That’s a risky venture.

They send mails directly to your school and wait until your school responds. What’s live and work in Canada, PR?
