Interestingly, I checked the tracking website just now and it says the passport has been sent back to the Ghana VAC. This happened today because I still checked last night. See the message below

"Visa application, tracking ID No.20220622CALAPKT20834 – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office on 2022/07/25 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. Your decision envelope will be returned to you via the courier service offered by the VAC. Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice. Please refer to the “Buy Services” page of the VAC website for further information on courier services offered by the VAC.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website"

This is how I’ve been watching everyone leave my boat one by one all month; I just tracked and it’s till showing the same nonsense processing. You’ll think PPR is the biggest issue but I didn’t even wait for PPR the way I've waited for these passports. When I’m finally in Canada, I’m going to have PTSD caused by express entry me and many others. I wake up in the night and find myself tracking passports, house hunting, praying for PTA, looking for Canadian relatives that’ll agree to co-sign a lease.Therapy should be one of the free post-arrival services offered to new PRs

Mine got to Lagos VAC on 22 June and is it still with the IRCC in Ghana. That is almost 5 weeks gone. So I definitely recommend that you try other visa offices if you are in a hurry to travel.

You and I are in the same boat, we sent almost same time meanwhile some people that sent to same Lag VFS in early July have gotten theirs back already. What does it say when you track

The two years actually counts from the test report form date. That would most likely be the result release date.

I don’t think that date is reliable because the only date on that form is the date of collection not release date; if you take ielts on July 26th 2022 and collect the result on July 26th 2024, the date on your result would show July 26th 2024. In this case, are you going to pretend your results ain’t expired just cos you collected it two years later

It has to be filled because of asterisk ✳️? Do I fill "NO" in the Do you have a valid passport/travel document for her? Please I need your advice ����

We got RFV mail from the same e-mail address so I assume your VO is also Ottawa.

For the forms, I think I filled No or NIL in all the spaces requesting details we didn’t have yet. But scan the letter of explanation before scanning the forms

He used his own details (credit score etc). All we did was to pay one month rent and security fees equivalent to one month rent. Then d landlord said when we arrive we will pay 2 months rent in advance.

My husband got a ready for visa mail and he was asked to complete the below steps within 30 days in order for the office to issue COPR.

Our challenge now is that my new born has not been added. I sent series of case specific form to update them on the new born and also explain to them the unavailability of international passport for her. I guess they did not see any.

In the mail, a webform link was provided for any update in change of circumstances but the challenge we have is not knowing our processing office. Which is part of the questions asked.

Don’t send passports. I was in the same shoes and we have the same VO too. Good news is that CIO is really fast. Reply to the RFV mail informing them of the baby and attach all the documents you have ready including the necessary forms. They’ll acknowledge then create a placeholder for baby’s passport. Give them the likely date you’re expecting the passport if possible attach the document that shows capture or collection date so that they just don’t give you a one week deadline.

If you have a family member or friend in the province you wish to land, they can be of help. I got an apartment before arriving Canada. My hubby’s friend did all the work.

He found a place then you rented? How many months upfront did you have to pay in place if paystubs, credit check and the rest

Please any tips for getting a house in Canada before landing. I have too many little kids so I’d prefer to get a house b4 we travel but I’ve been on Facebook marketplace and Kijiji for over two weeks now and all of them are asking for pay stubs, credit check and the rest, even when I say we can pay 2-3 months in advance. DO YOU THINK I SHOULD FILL IN MY MASTERS as past study HISTORY or I should use only MY Bachelor's degree since if they check WES evaluation they will see both results.

You should ask in the ‘Canada student visa’ thread because those people have more answers about study visa applications, here is FSW. I’d sha say that no use trying to hide your Masters since they’ll still see it. Just ask about ways to justify a new Masters degree.

i decided to check it now again and i am seeing no work history available. my old profile was never this way just this new one and i noticed after i had opened the profile and transmitted.

please what is the issue and what can i do so this doesn't affect me in future.

It happens, it’s a problem with their site I guess. When I got oinp last year I checked my profile and noticed my work history had been wiped. I just filled it back. I doubt it will affect you in future. Just take a screenshot so that whenever it happens, you can fill it back exactly the way it was.

They usually send a mail advising on further details like how to pay after you’ve booked, maybe you didn’t get the mail cos of the invalid date thing. I’ve attached a copy of what the mail looks like. Search your email for it or just book again if you didn’t get it

Good evening, so i have some budding questions: I recently got an email saying i was ineligible for EE due to that 67 over 100 assessment thing.

while i was grieving that...boom i got ITA for Saskatchewan which i had done eoi for when i was eligibile (I have been on this journey since 2018)

My questions:
1. Do i go ahead to take the ITA with an explanation
2. If i do, do i have to have all the pof in my account, i got tired and started spending part of it but can get someone to do gift deed for me
3. Has anyone been through the Sask pnp, pls pointers (whatsapp group or telegram pls)

Can’t you make yourself eligible again by doing something to increase points, because even if you get the Sask nomination, you’ll still need your EE profile to get ITA and apply

To avoid avoidable ADRs, why don’t you do gift deed, a page of bank statement then Fixed deposit certificate. That’s what I did. Nothing to lose.

If you’ve already submitted, it’s no big deal too, at worst they’ll just ask for additional documents.

Your husband should probably remark his writing because he’s just 0.5 points away from getting the highest band. But simulate the scores first for both of you and see

Please I want to ask if anyone has successfully used fixed deposit certificate alone as proof of funds for OINP without showing account statement. I just want to be sure it is possible.

Fixed deposit is one of the accepted POF documents according to their application guidelines (google the document and confirm, incase it’s been reviewed). The only reason I added my bank statement was cos my FD was one day old when I submitted, and I added just a page of my bank statement to show the transfer. if you’ve had yours for up to a year or close, it shouldn’t be an issue.

I got this message too, seems the person was drunk typing. They sent it to a lot of people that day but it was probably a mistake. They later sent me a clearer one the next day which basically said/meant the passport is with IRCC Ghana. Track yours on the VFS site, that’ll tell you where it really is

My school started the process immediately after making payment, and we used the courier option(DHL), DHL has delivered it since 27th of June when I tracked using the tracking number. What could be the issue.

I wouldn’t know but 27th June isn’t that long ago. Seems they’re still within their estimated delivery time. One thing I know that delays them is when they’re having issues with verification.

I think there’s an option for self study if you prefer and if i’m not mistaken, when you pay, you get access to study materials (i no sure again o).

There’s one moniker that posts about BCS physical training i think BNTech or so…yellowmellow i think used them so you can reach them for confirmation.
