Nikyb: Hello All. I would like input from anyone who has processed and got PPR while having a car loan that is deducted monthly from their account and shown on statement of account. Did you attach LOE to your application or were you silent, how do I go about this please? Note the car loan is secured with the car itself and can be sold to liquidate the loan or given back to the bank when I’m going to Canny land. Elders in the house please advise. Thank you in advance. Didn’t have a loan but I’d say always attach a LOE for anything you think might be confusing. If not you’ll be having panic attacks from AOR to PPR and also to avoid ADRs. Some VOs can look and deduce things on their own but others get very hyper when they see loan. Better safe than sorry. |

ireneayeni: Thank you @@, I have already submitted a webform since saturday, However is It safe to say that Until i see the Medical Document I requested to be uploaded on my profile following the steps you had adviced in the Post AOR section. I will be required to keep sending emails. Or at what point exactly can I be sure the document has been received. I got an acknowledgment of the Webform submitted on Saturday, Yesterday but I did not state if it will be Uploaded or Not. Please advise cos I am really worried about the entire thing, so it does not affect my aplication. Thank you to all the gurus for all the advise thus far. You have to keep sending until you get a real response for one or they upload what you’re asking. It takes them up to 2 months to respond sometimes. |

Nikyb: Please help guys! I got confused at the point of creating my EE profile. I only did ECA for my Masters, as per info that highest degree should be evaluated. While filling in my educational history on EE now it got confusing. Do I need to fill in my first degree too and pick that ECA was not done or I should just fill in Masters that has ECA alone and leave out the rest. Please note I only have a student copy of my first degree transcript which was done for my masters year ago and not addressed to any ECA body. And I know we need to provide documents for everything claimed on EE profile. Kindly guide me pls. I am confused Yeah, indicate that you don’t have an ECA evaluation for your BSc and you won’t need to submit it. I did this and I’ve gotten PPR. I think you can also just not mention the BSc in education history and only put it in personal history. |

Acheamah223: Hi Friends please need your suggestions and help.
I have a BSC in nursing which I graduated last year, I do not have any work experience in that field but during my studies, I did some parttime teaching work from 2016 up till now, My question is can I claim work experience for this teaching work I'm doing. will my Bsc in nursing and not in education be a problem?
I studied in china and please note that in china students are not allowed to work, wont that be a problem for me since officially I wasn't suppose to do the part time work as a student? My boss is willing to give me a reference letter but I'm not sure if I can use that as my work experience.
My husband on the other hand has 6 years work experience in his field of studies but he will be turning 30 this year and his education qualification is really low, He has diploma in Education which is not up to Canadian bachelor degree, so we will loss a lot of points if we use him as PA. I am 27 and have a bachelor degree but my problem now is the work experience, any advice is welcome thanks. Do you have NYSC, cos you can use that? |

I'm having challenges paying on the WES website. Could anyone suggest a way to make this payment go through?
Thanks in advance. How have you been trying? Your naira card won’t work. You need to get a dollar account, fund it and pay with a dollar card or get a virtual card from barter by flutterwave |

Jobola1: I given up on this Canada route as d thing no gree soft since 2019. No ita.
But it now seem I might have a chance with Ontario.
Age 31 MSc 1 year work experience secondary school teaching. 3 yr University teaching (not lecturing)
This was what I used to enter d EE pool.
But now, I have been working under NOC 0114 (other admin managers). Work experience will be a year by July.
Question 1. Will Ontario pick me under human capital scheme when I have one year experience in NOC 0114?
2. Is my ielts locked right after I receive Ontario NOI?
NOTE: I Don't have managerial related schooling.
Maybe there is a light somewhere in all these mess. 1. Ontario picks 0114 so it’s possible they’ll pick you if they still need that noc by then 2. Ielts isn’t locked until you accept ITA or so, not after oinp. So if it’s expiring soon, just rewrite now. 3. Your academic field doesn’t matter but since you’re about to claim managerial experience with no prior experience in the field, hope your current company has strong online presence and will write you a perfect work experience letter, with payslips. |

MaameU: Hi friends, I just received Ontario NOI and need urgent advice. I listed a one year accounting experience in my EE profile from Feb 2019 to July 2020. The Problem is that, this employer did not provide a reference letter listing my duties and responsibilities as requested. They just provided a standard reference which confirms my position as an accountant and salary. Meanwhile, one of my previous where I performed similar accounting roles from June 2016 to June 2017 provided the standard reference letter as requested with all duties and responsibilities listed. Can I change my work experience in the EE profile to the this (2016 to 2017 employer) and submit my application to Ontario without issues? Or do I need to maintain the 2019 to 2020 experience stated when I received the NOI? Please note that Ontario website states that "Ensure that your résumé, employer reference letters and other documents submitted to support work experience criteria, include a detailed list of your duties and responsibilities for each position held." Your advise will be very much appreciated. From what I read in the past, messing with the details of primary noc might get you an intent to refuse letter which will have you writing long letters to defend yourself so why not just go straight to the long letters. Instead of messing with your profile, how about drafting your Work Experience letter on plain paper and getting your supervisor or one of your other bosses to sign for you, or if the company has ever given you any document on letter headed paper listing your duties you can submit that then attach the one from the company and maybe a mail from them saying HR won’t give the kind of letter you’re requesting. Hopefully this company has an online presence. Also submit work experience letters from the 2016-2017 experience too, since OINP asked for past and present work experience anyway. The letters from both companies should be enough to prove you have experience in the noc you’re claiming. |

Jimisola14: Hello. Please I need advice. CRS: 379 NOC: 0124 (4 years experience) No family or relative in canada. what province can I apply to? Your CRS is really low, have you tried everything to improve it? I think Sask and Ontario invite your noc. But your score is too low for Ontario. You can go to the Sask website and try to simulate your score, they have their own scoring system but their cutoff is high too. Édit: i just read that OINP invited as low as 300 in their last draw which was a few days ago. Hope you’re in the pool already |

Cannytravels: When they say above 500, does it mean 520, 530 because by July the people above 500 in the pool may be up to 12 or 15,000.
Already did Tef, have 2 certs and I'm on 496. Maxed ielts too so nothing else to increase the score. God no go shame us o 496 is a cool place to be imo. You’ll be sure to get ITA this year. July is just 2 months away. If they start with 4 or 5k draws, two draws would clear everyone above 500. |

Mstomie: Landing gist Abuja- Heathrow- Toronto - Ottawa Left with BA on the 17th April, family of 3. Check in went smoothly- we had 5 check in bags, 2 hand luggage, 1 diaper bag and a travel system stroller combo. My advice it’s best to check in every single bag that you can , BA will check in your hand luggage for free so it’s something to consider ♀️.
Abuja-Heathrow leg was smooth, we left about 20-30mins late but still left us with enough time to meet the connecting flight to Toronto. The food was ‘meh’ in my opinion but I’ll advise that you take the mail English breakfast option because the other meal option looked like to me.
Got to Heathrow and after about an hour wait we boarded to Toronto (this flight felt super long to me) but 7 hours after we entered our new country .
Went to immigration where we had to first do the self service passport scanning for declaration of items- cash value you’re coming in with, if you had meat, milk, fish and the likes, the machine gives you a slip. I had milk on me but it’s for my baby so I didn’t declare it.
Took the slip to the first leg immigration where we handed over our COPR and passport for stamping and filling address where we want our PR card shipped to. Then we were told “welcome to Canada”
We were sent to border control to fill a form regarding the amount we brought in, but it was nothing serious.
Went to check in for our connecting flight to Ottawa with Westjet, the flight was delayed due to various reasons but we eventually landed Ottawa and got picked up by family. Omo the cold is real, forget all the talk about spring weather. Buy better jacket when you’re coming.
P.s Travelled with an infant (9months) so when booking we got a bassinet seat, so she could be comfortable. I was able to carry water on all legs of the trip cause of making the baby’s food (the water was tested at Toronto) We booked directly with BA at Transcorp cause we were particular about getting the bassinet seat. Wow I’m hoping to go Ottawa too and travelling with an infant too so thanks for all the tips. I think I’d be using BA too when the time comes because your journey feels pretty straightforward. Though I like good food on flights but British people won’t know good food if it hit them in the face . What matters is that Welcome to Canada Goodluck in Canada |

Ggetter50: Hello, thanks so much for your response.
When you said "Max out", did you mean she MUST have a score like this in IELTS; Reading =8.0, Writing =7.5, Listening = 8.5, Speaking= 7.5 ?
We've never started any processing at all. Do we write IELTS first or certificate evaluation? Don't know if WES is gonna handle the Nursing certificate evaluation.
Lastly, since the husband will not be a primary applicant, will he writes IELTS too?
Sorry for much questions, I just need to get this straight so we can start as soon as possible. 1. Yes that’s the desirable score for IELTS 2. I don’t know what body évaluâtes nursing degrees favorably but you can use the NL search button to find out. 3. Start the evaluation first because it might take time to get your transcripts, you can start practicing for ielts now and write it whenever your evaluation is almost ready. So you get both results around the same time. 4. Yeah husband should write ielts to further increase your points, his ielts is optional though. |

Denerystormborn: Please i want to ask. Does this mean a profile updated with we are processing your backgeound check, means ppr is close? All kinds of calculations on this journey lol that leads to all kinds of theories. Sometimes some people’s background check changes to “your application is in progress, we will send you a message when we start your background check”. This is translated to mean that the application has entered long thing, not everyone’s background check status changes this way. When it changes back to ‘we are processing your application…” it’s taken to mean that everything is fine again and PPR is close. |
