to get passport for lagos isnt as fast as before o. nin for baby and capturing takes time. it might be faster in other states like ekiti and other. but i have someone in alausa but i cant say wether he will be fast o. but can say na sure guy . he helped me during covid and other people as well.

Wow had to go to Abj to do same day capture for my kids passport when I got oinp, was hoping to find such connection in Lagos cos that journey is stressful and expensive. I have Alausa contact too but no one is willing to guarantee speed.

You’ll submit the NOI letter with your application so they’ll see what score you had at invitation, doesn’t matter the lost points.

Hello everyone, please I need clearance on this. I started working in a private company in 2012 and resigned October 2018 because I got a bank Job as a funds transfer officer. I got married December 2018 and on my marriage certificate "Banking(Funds transfer officer) was written as occupation. The manager in my previous company resigned so the director called me back to fill the position(This was May 2019).

Now I have both NOC 1221 and 0114, however my marriage certificate has Banking which I'm not claiming points for. I wish to use both NOCs but how do I explain the FTO on the cert incase IRCC asks for an explanation?

The banking job will have to be in your personal history anyway because you can’t leave gaps. So your VO would probably see you worked in a bank around the time you got married. It’s not compulsory to claim jobs that don’t give you any points, you just have to add them to personal history (not work history)

Oh, sorry, That's a lot of money. Sometimes, the right info is all we need, most people having delays getting their passports or paying a lot of money to get one should note that there are states that issues passport easily, you don't necessarily have to do it in your state... Most of these overcrowded states - Lagos, Oyo,Ogun, etc would delay your passport or make you pay a lot of money to get it quickly.

States with less traffic issues you passport in a day at a very cheap price, even close to the standard price. Seen a few people who went to Ekiti, Nassarawa, Taraba etc and got their passport in a day, they paid less than 35k.

Paying an extra 50k is sometimes better than carrying a newborn via road to all the places you mentioned.

When I included my spouse’s Nigerian work experience, the only place holder it generated said ‘Canadian work experience’ and I had to quickly remove it because submitting Nigerian WE docs in a placeholder that says Canadian WE can lead to confusion and negative outcomes.

Go back to your application and make sure the requested documents weren’t for Canadian work experience, if it was, quickly send a webform like someone said telling them about the mistake.

Since then I've been waiting for ppr but it seems to be taking longer as compared to other people 's timeline which usually takes a day for ppr after portal confirmation.
So how soon can I get a ppr letter?

I submitted everything though I later saw people that submitted just certificate. If you’re submitting both documents, put the certificate in front cos some VOs don’t have time.

As for the declaration, I think all pnp candidates are made to sign the same declaration. They know you’ll have family in future

Good afternoon all, please my medicals is not until 30th of April and I will like to submit my application. Cos my 60 days for submitting my post ITA documents will elapse first week in May. Please how do I go about filling in the medicals section as I would like to submit before the first week.

I don’t know the answer to the bolded but if I were you I’d wait until the medical results are out as long as you’re sure your deadline is May. You’ll be given a printout same day you do your medicals. Just have your application ready, use the rest of April to thoroughly proofread it and when you get home on 30th, you submit.

Submitting without medicals will have you trying to contact IRCC in a few weeks or waiting to be contacted by them, both processes have been frustrating lately. Just my opinion though

The normal debit card won’t work because of the limit in place now. No naira card would work. A barter by flutterwave card should work if it’s a dollar card, are you sure you have enough money on it? I don’t know how flutterwave works but the black market dollar rate is almost at $590 to a naira now.

If all fails, open a domiciliary account with your bank and get a dollar card, that always works. You just have to buy dollars in the black market to fund the account and put jara cos payment won’t go if it’s shorting even a dollar.

This will only bring delays and may not be accepted in the end, just send the amount you need from the estate account to your personal account and show source of funds. This way it’s clear to everyone that you have access to the funds

Please don’t, don’t go and complicate matters even further. Now that they’re overwhelmed, it might take them a while to send back to you and you’ll have waited all this time for nothing. You’ve waited all this time, a few more weeks won’t kill ya lol. Besides now that Nigerians have stopped flooding them, their workspaces might just free up soon and you’ll get your passport back.

It’s not the same for everyone. If your spouse has a BSC or higher, persuade him to take ielts and score reasonably and that would probably make your scores higher.

But if they have no higher education and no ielts, it will probably bring down your score. Best way to know for sure is to simulate your score to find the best scenario for you https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Also the alternative option is to apply as married but spouse unaccompanying, not to apply as a single lady. Just answer no when asked if your spouse will be coming along
