First Medicals - June 12th 2021
Biometric - November 16th 2021

I did upfront medicals on June 2nd 2022

I was sent an email for remedical on June 13th 2022(Last week monday)

I uploaded my emedical using a webform. I waited and no acknowledgement after 2 days, i uploaded a webform again.

No acknowledgement till now and its still showing "Your action required". I called Qlife clinic today and they told me they uploaded mine since June 9th.

Please can anyone with more info or experience help explain what might be going on and what i can do. Also is it possible for them to ask for ADR after the remedical?

Please who’s ever lost their information sheet after medicals (that paper you’re supposed to scan to IRCC). What happens if you lose it? You can easily get a reprint right?

Please, how do I start the process of requesting a remark? I want to raise a protest. I am very confident that I answered all the questions well. I'm suspecting that I was shortchanged and deliberately marked poorly. Perhaps they do this to make people patronize them again. I must see to the end of this issue! Please what's the procedure and how much does it cost?

Where did you write the exam. You can use google to find the remark link

Hi folks, I submitted my application a couple of days ago. It was after I submitted that I got to read some cases of rejection due to NOC duties.

When I got my work reference letter (WRL) for PNP, I followed the format of IRCC basically, and wrote the common daily duties I do at work not knowing that there was a specific duty guide which must be substantially covered even though they don't want copy and paste.

I used same PNP letter for IRCC but now looking at the duties on my letter vis-à-vis IRCC duty guide for my NOC, I feel the duties I used could possibly be considered not substantial enough, depending on who is assessing it, even though I listed up to 7 and none is off but some may be put together to mean One and if that's done, role meaning to role meaning, it'd be about 40-50% as compared to the main duties in IRCC guideline. The lead statement, essential duties and other formats are completely covered though.

Someone said, since I have crossed PNP and it is not as if the WRL is obviously defective except maybe on very critical scrutiny, I should not bother. Rather, it is my Medicals, criminality and POF that would be thoroughly scrutinized the most, except if there is a large gap in other areas that PNP missed.

My question is, should I just wait and pray that my application doesn't get to an over strict assessor or is there something I can do, possibly submitting a new reference letter via web forms. I hope a new WRL won't raise eyebrows and now draw undue attention to my relatively okay WRL while they turn blind eyes to my web forms containing the new WRL?

Sorry for the epistle, I wanted to be as explicit as possible. I want to hear advice on this pls to help me make informed decision. Thanks.

This kind of panic is normal post submission. Your letter seems okay from what you’ve described. Join telegram/WhatsApp groups with people of the same AOR. When they start passing eligibility, call or order gcms notes to see if you’ve passed too. Imo you should only send the second letter if your eligibility is taking too long to pass or gets a review required.

Alternatively, try to find someone who can assess nocs or who’s gotten PPR with the same NOC so that they can go through your letter and tell you if it’s okay for real or if you need backup.

I have just checked my IELTS Result. It's my first attempt. I didn't really prepare for it. I only watched a few (about 4 or 5) youtube videos and read for only 2 days due to my busy work schedules. The Result I saw online now is: SRLW - 8,7.5,7.5,7.5,.

My target was to get all-round 8, Do you think I can request a remark of this result?

I feel as if the marker is strict with marks!

To max out, what you need is LRSW= 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7.5
The second best scores are LRSW= 8, 7, 7, 7
Aiming for an all round 8 would get you the second best scores and you’d have missed maxing out by just 0.5 points. So better to aim to max out and at worst you land at tier 2.

The good news is that if you can do this well with little practice, you’ll probably max out at the second try. You maxed out speaking and writing which are the two parts that can easily change with a remark. You need to work on your listening and reading. You can also remark them if you like but they’re objective questions and it’s unlikely that the person marking made a mistake in both.

So, please I would appreciate a guide on how to enter the pool. I have generated something that looks like a ten (10) digit code starting with two letters - "A Personal Reference Code". Please where do I input this code? I will appreciate useful tips. Thanks

Whenever it brings up this error message, go back and click again continuously until it loads. The site requires patience. You can also try incognito mode on your browser. They’ll probably ask for the code along the line.

Medicals just budget about 36k for kids and 46k for adults. Might be a little less than that, can’t remember the exact figures.

You’re right about the biometrics, also kids below 14 or so ain’t required to do biometrics so unless you have teenagers, it’s just you and your spouse doing biometrics.

Also husband, wife and 3 kids makes you a family of 5 not 3. For when you’re calculating PoF.

Focus on finding pnp that accepts your noc because the score is too low for FSW

I am currently in the US and I was thinking of applying as Primary applicant. I got my US visa once but my husband has been denied like three times. Although we have the same qualifications , he is more likely to obtain his reference letter from his office than I am( I had to resign cus I had serious issues with the office).

Now I’m thinking my husband can be the primary applicant while I as dependent also do my ECA and IELTS for extra points.

No it doesn’t at all, as long as you are truthful about the denials.

They’re very fast these days. I emailed them about the date and they responded almost immediately saying I should ignore it. I’m still waiting to get some of baby’s documents that’s why I haven’t added her but I will do b4 the deadline.

Please i need advice: I just got a re-medical mail but I'm currently 6month pregnant, pls will i be able to do the medical also is there anything i suppose to know about medical for a pregnant woman.

I was 5 months pregnant when I did mine, just tell them you’re pregnant and they would give you a clothe to shield the X-ray from your tummy and something to sign.

Also you’ll be given the option of refusing to do it until after you’ve given birth but to me that’s just unnecessary delay since you’re already up to 6 months

Just save yourself and write an LOE drawing their attention to the error. So that one VO would not just wake up and deny u PR because of his or her own carelessness. In my own case only on placeholder was put to add my babies document, na everything I go merge for one pdf upload am like that

Did you write a letter for yours and did they respond? I’d send a webform tomorrow just for the evidence.

They usually just put one placeholder for baby, it’s same with mine and some others I know

Looks like May but whether May or June, if you take it to IOM, you should be able to get a much closer date cos Monday is like 6th June

No need to panic, just work with the first letter, someone obviously forgot to send the second letter until after it expired because doesn’t that say 6th May?

If I were you, I’d try to take advantage of the second mail though, especially if you live in Lag or Abj. Show up to IOM with it and ask for a closer medical date. Except that’s how you got the 2 week date in the first place.

Guys just my advice, always try and view your cic account using desktop view. I am in the process of adding my baby to my account, I initially sent all requested documents via webform, no communication from cic, untill today I got a request letter to upload my babies document in my cic account with a 30day deadline. I used phone view to access the website and I didnt see d place holder untill I switched to desktop view. After refreshing I am seeing the place holder with an upload overdue date of April 22 2022. I am even confused how I would get request letter for babies document dated today and its already showing overdue in the place holder

I decided to check my profile for this cos I’m also adding baby. Found I also have an ‘upload overdue’, dated the same day the placeholder was added. Obviously a mistake. They also made a mistake in the forms requested. (Listed one form twice and totally didn’t mention the third form). Some of the VOs are working hard I wonder how it’ll be after FSW resumes.

Yes I have applied for her NIN and completed the capturing. Going for collection of the slip tomorrow and hence commence application for international passport.

Yeah attach her birth certificate not NIN. I only asked about NIN cos you need it to get the baby’s passport, IRCC doesn’t need it. Also book for upfront medicals and gather all other documents needed to add a baby. You can send everything via webform when it’s ready.

Got request letter today and I see that on the letter the fee is $230 due to the recent increment that happend on the 22nd April 2022. Seeing that I paid this money before the increase, am I suppose to still pay d deficit of $5

I’d pay the $5, scan the documents $225 first followed by $5. Then add a LOE to explain why. Not doing that might cause unnecessary delays and $5 isn’t worth it.

Hope you’ll be able to pay just $5 though, I think that payment page enters the figure to pay automatically

AOR is an update, you don’t have to wait for any other update.
Raise the webforms but keep trying to find out who your VO is so that you can mail them directly. Hope you’ve applied for baby’s passport and NIN , that’s where the real delay is.

You can’t use shares as POF, you’ll have to liquidate first. 25% pension is accepted most of the time though I saw one case where a VO rejected it

Raise a webform (several webforms) saying you want to add baby. This method takes forever cos of how long it takes them to respond.

Faster method. Call and find out your VO. Find their email. Send them direct mails. Which ever method you use, attach all documents required for baby addition.

If you click on the file number, does it take you back to your application? If yes, then I don’t think you missed anything. Maybe they’re just having long processing times. It’s been almost a year I filled my application so I don’t remember exactly how everything works but I vaguely remember that you can’t submit until you’ve filled everything out, so I doubt you guys forgot something.

Does he belong to any oinp groups? Find other people from the same draw that submitted at the same time with him and know what stage they’re in. You can look for them on canadavisa.com

Any idea what to do if he does not have his ID Card? We ususally submit our ID cards when we leave.

It doesn’t matter if the company decides to write graduate trainee as long as the job details are the same with your noc. E.g the noc I claimed is for managers but my job title didn’t have manager in it. Imo you have to have a good reason (which you’ll explain to IRCC in a LOE) for not providing WE letter in the required format and you don’t have a good reason. Get the letter from your office people, it makes your application much simpler.

They use dollar cards linked to their dom accounts or you can get a virtual dollar card eg barter by flutterwave
