Dennyjuff:Yeah one year as long as its within the past 5 years |
Nkydechik:There's an app called 'Barter by Flutterwave', I think you download it and sign up then they create a virtual dollar card for you that you can fund with your naira card. I've never used it, but you can use the NL search button to find out more on how it works. |
Nkydechik:It has to be dom account or flutterwave and the likes cos there's a cbn limit on the naira cards, don't think you can pay more than $200 with any of them. For the second question, I'm not sure which option is better.I think you can submit both accounts but include a letter of explanation clearly stating what you've done and how the money in both accounts add up to your POF because some of those officers can be in a haste sometimes. |
affoncad:I don't recall calling my post a joke. With all your real issues, why are you ignoring the people responding to you to address the one post that wasn't responding to you. |
Yes, I also wonder where I can get 40k CAD because my father is a diamond lord and my enemies are after my life and so on and so forth |
Yellowmellow:What exactly were you asked to send, you can take a screenshot of the mail, blot out your personal details and send here. |
Yellowmellow:I heard you don't have to wait 6 months o, that an immigration officer can seek approval for you once its for immigration purposes. So I guess you can start the renewal process asap. |
Hamza05:Read number 36 of the FAQs here https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled#107239809 Sha don't be tempted to write on yourself. Beg him some more or try getting other superiors at the organization to write for you. What's his reason? |
mummyDsquare:Yes, down to NYSC. I even included my 9 months work experience pre-nysc because you can't leave any gaps and I wrote that I wasn't claiming points for it cos I was only paid a stipend by hand. Under NYSC i just wrote 'compulsory national youth service' or something like that. I sha tried to give reasons for why I wasn't claiming points for the older jobs to avoid being asked for proof and I guess it worked. Don't know if others submitted without the explanation |
rawe45:That site is so frustrating. You can get an error message 50 times before it finally logs you in. Just that I can't remember if this was the exact message I was getting. I switched to more stable internet (mtn to airtel) and started logging in around midnight only. Try this first b4 you contact OINP. Even when you finally log in, it would log you out anytime your internet shakes small and all the info you suffered to enter will disappear, so try to use a stronger internet for all your OINP business. |
tolakadupe:Phew, thanks. Blesso222:Wow never knew Quebec gives ITA to Nigerians. The program isn't discussed here a lot cos not a lot of people get it here. Just incase you don't get much direction here, I think I once saw a forum for Quebec but it was on canadavisa.com. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/search/14691931/?q=Quebec+ITA&o=relevance Read the more recent threads. |
Please at what point during the application process can I relax and stop having this fear of rejected application due to incomplete documents. I know I submitted everything but I keep thinking of possible mistakes every blessed day and giving myself panic attacks. Is this how I'm going to feel until PPR? |
sotall:If only you people would start to fear women after typing 'fear women', your lives will be better. |
aussielover:Yeah I used FD for OINP and got nominated. If the FD is less than a year old, I'd suggest he shows source of funds. Mine was only a few days old so I submitted giftdeed, bank statement to show transfer then the FD certificate. If he's had the FD for a while then the FD certificate should be enough. OINP has FD certificate listed as an acceptable proof of funds. I think I read it in their application guidelines, you can google it. |
ChristabelleD:Bring money let me help you ask God ![]() For real though, no one knows but we're hoping Canada will make their plans for FSW clear this month. |
mummyDsquare:Lol congrats. |
Emmnk:I used FD and I used the search button a lot before I submitted mine and found out: If you're using a recent FD certificate, show the source of the money else there's a chance you may get an ADR for your bank statements (esp if you're unemployed or salary isn't so high) If your FD certificate is a couple of years old then the certificate alone would do for POF. Some people accompanied the FD certificate with generic bank letter, others didn't. Both groups have gotten PPR |
Putin007:I never use them because the scam ones are so much more than the good ones. No one really needs them in this day and age anyway, when you can do it yourself. Go to the thread and read up, drop your qualifications, age and work history and someone may tell you which program you qualify for, if any. Then you can start the process from there. |
bozz007:Wow, I like this new speed of adding baby. Congratulations |
Putin007:UNN transcript request is done online, just so you don't waste your trip. Also did your research reach here? https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled |
Lush100:Since you already have an MBA, it might be tricky getting a visa except your course shows career progression somehow. You'll be better off asking questions on the Canadian student visa thread. There are some pros there that you can PM if they let you. |
Yellowmellow:Just set a reminder for the 6 month mark and start the process then, don't wait for ADR. Also find a reliable contact that can guarantee a week or 2 |
Haircombb:They're taking about 3 weeks now to acknowledge a webform so if you're going to inform them of the delay, better to send the webform now or find a faster way to contact your visa office because if they haven't received it by your deadline, you know how they can be. |
Elxandre:Lol I knew it, sha try my method on days you're cooking for more people than yourself. |
Elxandre:First, considering where the eggs came from and where they're laid, I'd be irritated to add them to my food unshelled. Second most people parboil rice for a few minutes then wash before cooking, that parboiling time is enough to boil an egg, so why nit just take it out then. Lastly, you'll have to turn your jollof rice at some point and I can't imagine doing the turning with unshelled eggs inside the food, what if some of the shells break off into the food, (some eggs even break on their own) that would be like eating rice with sand. |
Did I just see eggs with shell inside the cooked rice? Next time please just boil the eggs separately or boil while parboiling the rice (before you wash it). Congrats on your new house. |
shutupareyouGOD:Its easier to find with google. You can google your job title e.g whats the NOC for loan officer. Or you can post your job titles or describe what you do and people with similar jobs would help you. You search with your job though, course doesn't matter |
Haircombb:Sure, you might have to pay more but a month is more than enough time if you find the right contact. |
coolcare:I don't know if they take every noc, plus you have to score high in their rating system. Sha go to their site, read up on 'eligibility' and then simulate your score. I think their cutoff is over 70 points these days. https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/live-in-saskatchewan/by-immigrating/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/browse-sinp-programs/applicants-international-skilled-workers/international-skilled-worker-occupations-in-demand |
Olisa222:You already said your noc is basically ignored, so your chance of getting pnp is low. If you pass TEF, update your score and wait for FSW, if at anytime any province starts inviting your noc, you can always remove the TEF to take your score back to 459. Since you've already studied French, it will be a waste not to take TEF. You can consider the OINP French speaking stream if it returns. The first FSW draw would probably take everyone in the pool above 500 (last time I checked they weren't too many) and you wouldn't want to miss that. |
You claim you understand the despair in Nigeria but you really don't |
Olisa222:Hahaha I used to think this way but they really have picked up the pace again. They're working fast now, processing 2021 applications side-by-side the 2019/20 ones to avoid creating another backlog. So i believe the backlog problem would be solved this year. The only issue now is that the applications in the backlog are enough to fill up their target for this year and who knows how they might restructure FSW from next year. |

I just goy OINP NOI oooo. Running to their website to begin my application. Thank you mama!!! please expect my questions my people.
