I cannot swim. Will I also be drowned if I vote for KOWA party in Lagos? |
dickrider:First, I don't respond to comments like yours but I'll make an exception. When the votes were collated, did you notice in the south east, the APC had votes running into hundreds of thousands? Each of those votes represent a human being. They believe in the General that's why they voted for him. Should he neglect them? No! In the 2011 elections, I know of Igbo folks that voted for the ACN because they believed in the manifesto of Mr. Ribadu. So your comments about them being tribalistic holds no water. There are more matured ways you could have passed your opinions across than resulting to such words that shows you lack tact. When I checked your DP, I wasn't surprised that such words could come from you. |
My dear, you may or may not want to take this advice. But if you seriously love your life and value your sanity, please run! Those tears of hers mean nothing. That her conscience is pricking her shows you're a nice guy and deserve better. It doesn't matter how long you've been with her, or whether she owned up to her acts. Trust me on this: run. |
Touch not my anointed o. |
A bro does not sleep on the same bed as another bro. Bros don’t touch each others hair. A Bro never rents a chick flick. When in doubt, ask your bros. A Bro and a Brother are not the same thing. |

Irony of life: You can either do these '10 things' or do just one thing- make money, I mean lot's of money and still achieve the same result. |
On the contrary, I find ladies in skirts attractive. Kinda sexy. ![]() |
You have to keep the baby not because you're feeling connected or whatsoever but because it's the right thing to do. You can pick odd jobs- teaching in a high school, security, etc to enable you foot the bills. Please whatever you do, don't snuff out a life. Goodluck, I'm sure you'll be needing it!! |

@agabusta The Labour, Safety, Health and Welfare bill will promote occupational health and safety in Nigeria. It's long been overdue. One wonders why the president hasn't signed the bill since it was passed in 2012. I'm thrilled by the bill because it touched areas the Factory Act didn't cover. However, I still feel enforcement will be a major problem because of corruption in the system. |
InZA:Dr. Walter Bishop couldn't have put it any better! |
How will this move affect the price of garri that the common man eats? What happens to the oil marketers that purchased the products at a higher price? They will definitely alter their meter pumps to balance the sudden change. I see this as a cheap move to whip up election support. Fortunately, we can all see through it! |
Maya2pretty:@Maya2pretty. If you are passionate about safety then by all means go for it! I've come across female HSE professionals and they seem to be quite good at what they do. |
izutex007:A well written resume tailored to meet the employer's needs as written in the job description. The mistake some grads make is to have a one-fit-all cv and that's why they hardly ever get called, savvy? |
For me, spamming a potential employer is a no- no. I mean if you're really worth your salt, one resume is enough to convince an employer. If I were hiring and you spammed my mail box, chances are that it'd be treated as what it is - junk mail. There are other means of standing out and young grads should explore them. Besides, spamming is a crime in some parts of the US and the UK. |
Well, I'm surprised some posters before me are misreading this. What kind of crackheads do we have here? Must we read religion or APC/PDP politics into everything? The last time I checked, Pakistan's a country dominated by Moslems. Same with Sudan that gave flight permit over their airspace. So this has nothing to do with Boko haram being an Islamic terror group. If I'd say, the US's hands are involved. Remember the botched South African and Israel deals? Refusal to buy our oil but buying from the Saudis? The scaling down of their oil investments in the country? Now this. Please good people of Nigeria, let's put two and two together. I believe the US is hitting back because we refused them having AFRICOM on our soil. We need to look inward, that's what China did. Last year, Former President Abdulsalam Abubakar at a University's convocation lamented on the dearth of DICON. Like someone said, we can revive this institution. Let's not play politics with our destiny as a nation. This is national security we are talking about. |
zeongeon:Walk up to any construction yard and tell them you'd like to volunteer as a safety officer. It might sound like a silly idea but then it works. |
Heading to Brazil. |
@Pinc, I do not have materials on NEBOSH diploma. zeongeon: Please it will be wonderful if we can post Hse jobs for freshers on this forum...if u have years of safety experience please mentor the freshers here..even if it is posting volunteer positions on here it will be very good or u hv work load in ur office that u need help with or hse vacancies pls don't hestitate to post hereLike I said in my earlier posts, people new to HSE should find an area they are passionate about and specialize or develop their skills in it. It could be Risk management, maritime safety, construction safety, environmental management etc. Whatever rocks your boat!! As for volunteer jobs, I bet there's a lot of it out there! |
BreezyRita: Yes, we know that. But it could get to one you know. I dated a broke guy for 2 years and it was so not funny!! At least a little will keep the ship moving.............I like people who know what they want. At least you do! But when ladies date most undergrads or fresh grads, what are they really expecting? Diamonds in the sky? If I may ask, how little is little?? My advice to guys that get dumped cos they are broke: GO GET A JOB. At least when you hammer, you'd have known someone you shouldn't settle with. I believe it was Eleanor Roosevelt that said, "Women are like tea bags. You never know how strong they are until you put them in hot water". Don't take me too seriously...I'm sleep- typing, whatever that is. |
Whenever your partner starts complaining about something that been there all along, it's most likely they are abt to jump ship. OlamiB has been in that rship for three years...did she suddenly realize her bf is broke??

juicyinn: please can u send me materials for NEBOSH international technical certificate in oil and gas and NEBOSH igc pleas. Here's my email mrsfaithsalawe@gmail.comHi, Check ur mail. Feel free to share with others. @House. The ISPON act is a welcome development. HSE in Nigeria needs to be regulated. However, I believe the law invalidates other training centers and this isn't encouraging. You see, training centers like charkins, falckprime, finny intergrated services, SGS and a host of others are better poised than ISPON to deliver specialized HSE courses. Don't forget safety also spans to maritime safety, construction safety, industrial safety, food safety and so on- these are fields ISPON don't have the technical know- how to handle at the moment. What they need to do is adopt the NEBOSH approach- register centers as course providers and regulate the contents and examinations. Also it wouldn't hurt to affiliate with bodies such as OPITO and IRCA. Another issue that would rear its head soon is ISPON asking intending members to undertake the General HSE and HSE level 3 courses irrespective of the fact that one may hold a NEBOSH IGC course or have field experience with top level certifications. Haba! It's like asking a graduate to repeat primary one. They ought to make provisions for people who may have undergone these trainings in other institutes prior to now. Even IIRSM and IOSH accept their membership from holders of NEBOSH or equivalent certifications. I'd advice ISPON adopts the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) model. It's a new law but might be needing an ammendent soon. I'm sipping my zobo and watching events unfold. |
if goat like make him frown face. Person wey go buy am go still price am- Pidgin proverb. It means that what will be, will be. |
Treating that kid in such a horrible manner is a human right abuse. Tearing the passport to shreds is like burning the National flag. #SuspendEgyptAir |
Bertbert: Married women take note please don't try this at home.I think it should be please don't try this at home, at the office or anywhere. |
Kai @OP. You no try at all o. This 'joke' is expensive. This seed you've planted in the hearts of women will turn to trees too difficult to uproot. |
These BH people want our forces to fall into an ambush trap. They expect our forces to advance outside Konduga thinking they have them on the run only to give our soldiers a surprise package, put our troops to flight and take over Maidugri. Fact is the NA commanders aren't that dumb. NA killing terrorist since 1914. |
GreatKken007 you are right on spot! Let's not turn this group into a beggars forum. It's so unprofessional. My candid advice to new entrants is find an area of HSE you are interested in and build your career on it. And of course there are tons of materials at your disposal online. Just ask google. |
I don't drink, smoke or do weed. Neither do I wait to get dumped. I cut my loss when I see the signs. But if I really did love you and was patient enough to see if things could work but you walked out, I delete you from my mind and empty my brain's recycle bin. When next I see your pix, I might have trouble putting a name to the face. No time. |
Toks2008: You can be together and grow old together if both of you are willing to work it out.You couldn't have said it any better. Hear people! Read and learn! |
All this ppl asking for pictures, why not go to the frontline? Shior. |
