fav444: My dear, if you've never been sad u won't appreciate being joyful. if u have ever seen what a bad wife is capable of doing to a family (nuclear and extended), then u will do everything morally good and possible to get a good one. Besides, the husband of this "bad wife" once thought and said "He who finds a wife found a good tin". The battle is not for d swift or strong....... I'm not ruling out the God factor...Of course I believe in God to guide me in choosing a spouse but the final choice rests with man. Someone once said ever since Adam blamed God for giving him Eve, God stopped making choices for man. That's why I suggested the OP does his due diligence else he'd blame whoever recommended a wife to him when things go the way he doesn't expect. |

African govts don't have the discipline to think through and implement policies that aid industrialization. Most policies suffer a natural death whenever there's a change in power. If we implement our own Marshall type plan or Asian Tiger type plan and not accept all the IMFs, WTOs and World Bank dish to us, Africa will be great again. |

fav444: In Summary : If God wants to bless a man for a lifetime, He simply gives him a good wife but if He wants to punish a man all He need do is give him a bad wife and every other thing will simply fall in place. Hmm, God doesn't go about giving people good or bad wives. The days of Adam are over. We are responsible for our choices. Remember it's 'he that finds a wife....' |

This one strong o. This is a lesson to all not to outsource parenting to neighbors, friends or relations. What will abortion save your daughter from? The shame of the mess she's gotten herself into? She doesn't seem remorseful for her actions. I bet she's learnt nothing at all and will most likely repeat her mistake. Will u always explore the option of abortion if she gets pregnant again? I pity Lani's wife. She must be regretting why she allowed a handshake go beyond the elbow. |

IsraeliAIRFORCE: I am not a Supreme Court Justice hence my opinion may not matter in the scheme of things but I find it preposterous that Appeal Court Judges can give a mandate to a candidate by deinfrachasing three LGAs with voting strength that outweighs the scores registered for each guber candidate.
It means that those LGAs have no say on who becomes their governor and by extension their people.
The judgment is ridiculous to say the least.
This judgment is a resemblance of the tribunal judgment that declared Mama Taraba the APC candidate the governor on flimsy premise. Thank you! I'm no fan of PDP but the rule of law must be followed. The court of appeal shouldn't disenfranchise thousands of voters. Insightful analysis I must say. Gentleman, what's your poison? |

@OP
When it comes down to who gets the job or climbs the corporate ladder, every company has its own structure and rules. But generally, it's a case of skills and experience. I always say that your MSc doesn't make you competent overnight. For instance, If you studied Petroleum engineering at LASU and did an MSc in drilling engineering at RGU Aberdeen straight up, that doesn't make you a competent driller. A high school grad that has a couple of years experience as a roughneck + IWCF's well control certificates is better poised to becoming a driller someday. If you doubt what I've just said, go on rigzone and check the minimum educational entry requirements for most jobs: yeah, you saw right. Your O' levels. |

amazingspiderma: Patrick please I only asked you for facts. If you don't have,be noble enough to admit it. No need to deflect the question.
Here is facts for you. There is no single manufacturing company in Owerri and Ebonyi. In Enugu only AMA Eke.In Abia only Golden guniea brewery and a few local companies in Aba like JC Udeagbala and some soap making companies, that is if it still exist.Aba also has cloth, bags and shoe manufacturing. In Onitsha IBB,Ibeto,Innosson are the main industries as at 2010. Where are they on the national leaugue of companies.I once visited a client from the East,he had a plant that manufactures Soya milk in South Korea. He sends the finished product back home to sell in Nigeria. The Igbos should be the first region to benefit from any industrial indigienization policies in Nigeria. But if there is no structure, there is no way it can fulfil that goal. My point is the Igbo business model is still the 70's model.Like I said, this apprenticeship model is restricted to kith and kin. There is so much more beyound the walls of ethinicity. If you doubt, take a look at Dangote. It is not an insult,it is a fact. Let's learnt to face facts. UPDATE: That your client that imports soy milk from South Korea has set up a noodles plant in Aba. Indomie has lost its foothold in Aba because of him. As I speak more plants are on the way. The Igbos aren't there yet but will get there soon. |

Amya: I had an ex who was so obsessed with me. He was sweet sometimes, but physical abusive and obsessed at the same time. Anytime I threaten to leave, he'd always tell me that he'd kill me and kill himself. One time, he embarrassed me in public and I knew I had to leave. I moved out of my school apartment and changed my line.
I ran into him 2 years later and he was pleasant. He told me I had hurt him when I disappeared but he'd gotten over me. He asked me where I was going and volunteered to drop me off. We were heading to the right direction when he suddenly veered off and started driving to town at a break neck speed. Jeez! I thought I'd die that day. I started screaming, shouting and begging him. He didn't look at my direction. His face was a mask! I started crying and pleading and suddenly, he slowed down. As soon as it was safe, I jumped out of the vehicle and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. That guy's a complete nut job! Lol! This just made my day! |

I Only ignore you when I don't have the energy or desire to engage. Or if I consider you a riffraff not worth the attention, mb or the words. This got me laughing. @OP it depends on the insult. If you insult me, now that's a light thing...you are free. Go and sin no more. But if you insult my honor...now that's a terrible thing and can only be settled by a duel. |

Listen OP, two things are involved.
1. It's either the HR admires your guts, never say die attitude, warreva, reassessed your CV and found you suitable for the role hence the invite.
or
2. The HR feels you are the protege of some godfather, senator, President, society top shot, warreva and knows that turning you down might be bad for business hence he wants to find out.
For your sake I hope the first option is your case. Good luck with the interview! I'm sure you'd be needing it. |
Politics › Re: DSS WARNS of Planned Boko Haram attacks in Abuja by Allwility: 9:21am On Nov 29, 2015 |
I'm disappointed at the DSS. Okay you got intelligence that there would be attacks in Abuja and went ahead to announce it. Clap for yourselves. You've taken away the edge you'd have had over the terrorists- the element of surprise. When the bombs go off in Abj, you will gives us your "I told you" look, shey? With your so called intelligence you'd have picked up the terrorist before they even ventured from their hideouts. Sometimes I wonder how you people reason.
There are lots of unemployed graduates out there that will do better than these our so called DSS. PMB overhaul the DSS and give our youths a chance! |

Noodles is fast becoming a staple food in Nigeria. Children love it and adults prefer it because of its convenience and ease in preparation. Market demand is expected to increase over the next five years due to increasing population, urbanisation and change in feeding habits. It comes in different flavors- chicken, seafood, beef and shrimp flavors.
If you are interested in setting up a noodle plant, do not hesitate to mention me. |
