https://www.hammeruncut.com/pics/nigerian-scammer.jpg Captured “Most Wanted” Nigerian Scammer Arrested in Florida A man believed to be part of a group of identity scammers was arrested in Florida Tuesday during a routine traffic stop. Rilwan Soetan, one of the U.S. Secret Service’s “Most Wanted”, was stopped by State Department Agriculture agents, with other people’s personal documents, multiple cell phones and $6,000 in cash. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Nigerian Scam you really should crawl out from under your rock more often, but here’s how it works. Letters, or more often emails, postmarked from Nigeria, Sierra Leone, or the Ivory Coast, as well as several other foreign countries, are sent to large mailing lists. The emails promise rewards to anyone that will help officials from that country’s government or banks out of embarrassing situations or legal problems. The typical pitch is that you will be permitted to keep a large portion of the multi-million dollar sums if you help them get the funds out of their country. Anyone that falls for the scam is conned into providing money to assist with government paperwork, bribes, etc. Since they are blinded by the prospect of making a few million dollars as their percentage, they can easily be bilked out of thousands of dollars before they begin to wonder and by then it’s too late and the scammers disappear. |
[quote author=tpia. link=topic=185315.msg4288726#msg4288726 date=1249257273]shut up, you lunatic. when people are talking you're always there pretending you're normal. What has she said here that can match any of your psycho rants on nairaland? And what makes you think you have a moral right to respond or defend anything at all on nairaland outside of your chosen profession of armed robbery and rabble rousing? When your mates are praying to God to not hold their sins and evil natures against them, you're shouting here as if your demonic deeds are as secret as you'd like them to be.[/quote] ![]() Oh squiggly line in my eye fluid. I see you lurking there on the periphery of my vision. But when I try to look at you, you scurry away. Are you shy, squiggly line? Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the center of my eye? Oh, squiggly line, it’s alright, you are forgiven ![]() |
Every other thing you need in a relationship is found in this person and he or she is likable but you don't love that person. Can you marry such a person?. Please vote |

JustGood: Now you know why the neighbourhood is afraid anytime she comes home. She is the original onu nkapi and I think she has no husband because her last essay describes a woman scorned. I don't know how these issues came in a thread about domestic violence. My only regret is the unlucky man she will murder someday. I don't know how to begin counselling someone who thinks murder is an excusable remedy for domestic violence. Jesus still saves and I hope He will deliver her from these demons tormenting her spirit. |
We are tired of this only in Naija thing. It's time to stand out and say NO. |
Wouldn't it be better for you to have a good president in 2011 and not a representative from your tribe?. I wouldn't mind a lebanese as our president now if I will be assured of good roads, electricity, security and equal rights. forget about the jobs because I believe creation of jobs should come from private sectors but if the conditions on ground is not favourable, how will they create jobs? |
Summer or winter, does it matter?. Harmattan nko? |
Must be attractive and functional simultaneously. |
Photoshopped. |
This should be in crime section. |
Fhemmmy:You and I know that achivement is subjective to the people you worked with. Bola Tinubu was an honest man who got murdered for his honesty yet all his effort in the energy sector yielded no fruit. I am not saying that Tinubu is a saint, all am saying is his cabinet then may not be as favourable as the one Fashola has now. Sometimes, a political godfather can make a big difference besides, these civil rights leaders rarely make good governance. Look at Oshiomole struggling in Edo, Soyinka struggled with road safety etc. |
Go ask around about Tinubu and his activities in NADECO. When many were afraid of Abacha, he was the man who tried all he could to stop him although he later fled Nigeria when it became obvious that Abacha wants him dead by all means. Awolowo on the other hand was a Yoruba hero and a villain to other tribes. He introduced ethnic politics in Nigeria and I think great many Yorubas should lay their emotions aside and see him for what he was. I remember how some Yorubas nearly beheaded Gbenga Obasanjo when he said it in an interview and the most recent fury was Akala taking down his statue. I bet you, in the next 50 years, the new generation will read history and stop eulogizing him. Will you compare Awo with Tafewa Balewa, Zik, Akintola or Wole Soyinka?. I will even take Akintola over that devil called Awolowo. |
These emails were made up probably by the media. I honestly think these generals don't have the amount of money we claim they stole. |
Shouldn't she be too old to vie for senate if i may ask?. Some people are shameless and her statement about our house of rep alone is enough to disqualify her from any political position. |
It should have been a big news if the kidnappers were Nigerians but now they are not sure if they are Europeans. |
MrCrackles:Why? Was it not the same Tinubu who gallantly fought Abacha when he wanted to exterminate Yoruba leaders over June 12 and was exiled because of that?. He deserves more honor than Awolowo from my opinion. |
No be lie. That Ekiti and their claim for professors na big lie. Imo state has the highest number of graduates in West Africa. |
Being a policeman doesn't mean he is not a physician besides, it could be a PHD degree he garnered during his career as a cop. There are many educated people in the regiment. There are many soldiers who are physicians eg Colonel Oviemo Ovadje. People can choose another profession from what they were trained for. Watch this video below about a Nigerian doctor who derives more joy from fine arts instead of medicine. Akala could be one of those people. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1519247/nkolikas_nigerian_television_authority_interview/ |
Ijawman:Which kings did he police around?. Lamdi Adedibu was a thug who strive to become the OLu of Ibadan which normally goes to the oldest man in the city. That was his lifelong dream but he couldn't achieve that even with his powers. |
amala, elubo, semovita etc have a tendency to poison somebody is not properly prepared. It is much safer to eat garri because of the method of production. |
Its a pity that people like frag or is it gay will continue to see igbos as irredentist no matter what you say. Tribalism is one disease that eludes therapy and blinds you till you die. |
Her husband was a thug and not a king. You guys need to stop lumping an ethnic group together because of one person. If that is the case, one can claim that igbos are akin to Andy Uba. |
I think Alao Akala is a trained physician[cardiologist or something]. |
Hanged for what?. If na you dem give that post, you no go take? |
She seems to think so. People are already sending her threatening messages. Isn't that enough to tell her how much they despise her family? |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/168223_Pol2_jpg2b4be76b49e1bdc363fb6b1c9b126605 The cartoon above is not only funny but a shame for we Nigerians. |
Reps position too low for me - Adedibu’s wife By Jackson Udom Saturday, August 1, 2009 WIFE of the late Ibadan politician, Alhaji Lamidi Adedibu, Alhaja Bosede Adedibu, has described as untrue, media reports that she was eyeing the House of Representatives seat. http://odili.net/news/source/2009/aug/1/606.html The wife of the late politician stated this in a chat with Saturday Tribune on Friday, declaring that if she had any political ambition in 2011, the House of Representatives was too small for her to aspire for. Alhaja Adedibu, who shed light on the controversy that linked her with the detention of the state Organising Secretary of the party for his alleged refusal to support her ambition in 2011, stated that the people in question were too small for her to seek their support for any elective position. “After I had received several threatening messages on my phone, I decided to intimate the police and when they asked me of who I suspected, I gave their names and they were invited for questioning and released the same day. “I was surprised to read on the pages of newspapers that I ordered the detention of the party’s official. It is not true. It is my right to vie for any office in this country, but that of the House of Representatives is too low for me. “If not that I have my stepson, Senator Kamorudeen Adedibu, in the Senate, I would have said that those who are afraid of me should meet me at the senatorial contest.” |
Only me this tuesday morning?. They accused me of raping a boy here https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-305023.0.html and Eziachi saw me in London at the same time. Tell Emeka to meet Become-Egwuofor, he is find a mate in him. ![]() |
How credible is this story?. It sounds more like a made up fiction to sell tabloids. |
Theblessed:For someone who wants to yab Anambrarians when it comes to education, I do not expect this jargon you wrote here because they will sit tight and laugh at you. I mean, this is a state that boasts of the likes of Prof JN Adichie[1st prof of biometrics and stat in Nigeria], His daughter[Chimamanda Adichie]; Emeagwali Philip, Prof Ezeilo[First prof of electrical engineering in Nigeria], Chinua Achebe, Rudolph Okonkwo, Uzo, Louis and Arthur mbanefo, Olisa Agbakoba, and great many others. How people behave according to their states beats me. Why not tell us about Imo guys?. Onu nkakwu! In case you don't know what is Nkakwu that I likened its mouth to yours, the picture of Nkakwu/Nkapi is below: Check that your lips and compare https://static.open.salon.com/files/rat1229487545.jpg |
Theblessed:You are obviously a market woman who needs to learn how to comport herself in public in order for others to reciprocate the desired gesture. The analogy of your anatomy is totally crass and uncalled for because I will never be interested in getting you laid[not a chance in this life]. A married woman you are, try and act it. So, stop disrespecting your husband please. |
