I've had two messages like this in my mail too in the last 72hrs. Number did not tally with order number or tracking number. What I did was to check my 24track app to see the two orders updated as having reached Nigeria, so I was able to guess what items the two mails referred to.

I see.. it will be an uphill task for me considering the number of orders I have and they were almost ordered and shipped at the same time

You can track using the new number. Track24 will show the update from the old to the new number. It looks like an unregistered package so tracking ends at this point.

I hope the attached explained it better but simply put, version = hardware while ROM = operating system. So, you can have a Chinese version with either Chinese ROM/Global ROM on it and you can also have Global version with Global ROM/Chinese ROM on it.

Entered Nigeria on the 27th of may
Updated as delivered on the 11th of June when I haven't even received it.
Then I finally received it after so much calls and gingering on the 24th of June..

if someone can help you check, , some post offices now have a banner for complaints and enquiries, an email address and phone numbers are pasted there. you could try laying your complaint there.
once an item has unsuccesful delivery...then that item has arrived final/destination PO

Don't let this frustrate you. Get to the school PO and liaise with the officer responsible for receiving items from Umuahia. He will contact his colleague if truly the item hasn't arrived and they should be able to resolve the problem.

Some POs have horrible staff while others have diligent and professional staff. While some POs use 2 days to receive, document and schedule delivery/pickup of packages, other POs use up to a week. They have a ready made excuse with the pandemic situation which is unfortunate.

I have checked nipost site.. it's still the same as the last time I checked. Below are the screenshots..
I'm thinking, does orders become automatically delivered when it gets to the post office headquarters in any city before they push it to smaller post offices or is it supposed to be marked as delivered when when the owner has actually collected it

Hi guys, I've been shopping on AliExpress for 2yrs now but I don't understand what is happening lately.. last 2 weeks, I got an update of item delivered on the phone I ordered since march.. I had to call the post office but my post man told me that nothing came.. I was worried because none of my orders have been declared received before it gets to me in the past, but I decided to chill since folks on this forum who experienced the same still got their packages a day or 2 after such update..
Jboixxx also encouraged me to chill, that it will still come.
My people, this happened since 11th of this month and up till now, it hasn't gotten to my post office and I have less than 3days buyer's protection for an order that has been marked as delivered..
I'm really confused and scared. I dunno what to do.

Post man is not in charge of receipt of small packets but the last man in the flow. It'll go through stages before getting to the postman. Your item is at your PO but hasn't gotten to the desk of "your postman", so, wait for your postman to call you.

The post office option seems to be cheapest but it takes longer.

For me, it's best to use agents. Ask your sellers if they can ship to your agent in China, and if they can, give them the agent address, who will then ship your item from China to Nigeria in 48-72 hours. The price will be based on the weight of your item.
