Simpson101: Yes Kano might be a little bit bigger than Lagos by population... Kano State 9,383,682 Lagos State 9,013,534 But number of eligible voters is sure more in Lagos than that of Kano Kano 5135415 Lagos 6247845 So if polls in Kano could amount to 3 million Lagos should at least be there about if not more... Generally, there is voter apathy in Lagos and other Southwestern states (people didn't come out to vote) unlike the some parts in the north and south south |

incrediblestev: You are not getting my point, yes he won in most of the Southwest States but what was the percentage of votes he got from the region when compared to the other regions that actually decided the votes for Jonathan, the SW was the least, the whole region did not even gave up to 3million votes even though he won in most of the states in the region, if the less than 3million votes were to removed from Jonathan's 22million votes, he still would have won clearly, how does that make the SW a deciding region. It is either newspapers and Yoruba Journalists deliberately arrogate so much importance to the region than it actually has or it is a lie that has some how been confused as the truth. Abi o, primary concern should be on total number of VOTES CAST and NOT on CARDS COLLECTED!!! |
Politics › Re: PDP Wins Enugu LG By Landslide by alsudaes1(m): 10:12pm On Mar 29, 2015 |
gists: I had this same line of thinking as yours. But then I realised the magic numbers from SS and SE are yet to be released. From the look of things, SE and SS will book the full PVCs collected. That is a massive figure. The only way to counter it is if Kano, Kaduna and katsina don't fully utilise theirs as well. Forget about litigation and asking biometric verification in court. It is not likely to work against a corrupt incumbent that will benefit from the fraud. The only way the block vote from SS and SE will amount to nothing is if NW & NE have near perfect turnout. this has been my argument, so many people seem to be overlooking it |

profmallory: Not impressed yet with this results coming in from tyhe SW. Pdpd still getting quitr a bite of the votes, keep in mind that SE and SS would be rigged for Pdp 100%. SW has yo do better than this to get PDP out. " This election is actually a contest between North generally vs South East plus South South, whichever produces highest number of votes cast will win Southwest is OUT of the equation (it has only fulfilled the 25% mark for both parties, with quite low difference) INEC has the final declaration |

luvinhubby: This card reader is a complex failure. Two-third of the voters in my polling station at Alagomeji Lagos were told "accreditation failed", . The inec lady has almost 8 pages of incidence form. tell her to check if the protective seal has been removed, if not, tell her to remove it. . you guys should also try to get your hands washed |

adrianstylez: My question is: Where the INEC staff not properly trained for this? Did they not do test elections? what is so saddening is the fact that majority of these so called adhoc inec staff are corpers, wonder what they made of the training they have been given. . . what you hear from them is "inec has not paid me my training allowance" #wasted_education |
