Channels TV reports that several commercial banks in Owo, Ondo state attacked by Robbers. . .many fatalities and injuries reported. It is also reported that one of the Commercial banks has been set ablaze.
PUNCH Bandits, numbering about 10, struck in Owo town in Ondo State on Thursday, robbing several banks and killing a bank manager.
Our correspondent gathered that the armed robbers killed the Manager of one of the raided banks in the town and a bank staff during the robbery operation.
it was learnt that the deceased, whose identities were yet to be ascertained, were shot by the robbers when they refused to cooperate with them.
Residents said the armed robbers, who came into the town through the Abuja-Owo road area at about 5pm, started shooting sporadically into the air until they got to the heart of the town, where they robbed three branches of new generation banks.
It was also learnt that some bystanders, who were caught in the attack, were either killed or seriously injured.
A resident, who would not want to be named, said the incident took place with policemen in sight, who could not challenge the robbers.
The hoodlums escaped with an undisclosed amount of money carted from the banks after two hours of operation.
bigboss80s: The one on the right looks like the most appropriate. The others look like my trash can at home. The boxes should be completely transparent please.
samkolo: Argentinian forward Gabriel Batistuta (R) is blocked by Nigerian Michael Emenalo on June 25, 1994 at Foxboro stadium in Boston during their World Cup first-round match. Argentina won 2-1.
same Michael Emenalo who is now a Sporting Director at Chelsea FC
what do they use this 'campaign money' they collect from the already poor citizenry for Is it not a case of trying to further milk them dry? Why on earth should I give my hard earned money to a Nigerian Politician Not fair at all cos these politicians are a million times richer than the people that are giving them money. . .#omaseo
Curvinus: The minimum wage in Ghana is 6 Cedis a day and 186 cedis a month if the average Ghanaian were to work the full 31 days in a month.
Now, seeing that the Cedi exchanges at 54.51 to the Naira, by the time you multiply 186 by 54.51, you still have 10,138.86 Naira as the minimum wage in Ghana, excluding taxes and other deduction, while here in Nigeria, our minimum wage is N18,000 for a civil servant who works for just 22 days in a month.
So, while it will take an average Ghanaian some 53.7 months or four years and five months to earn 10,000 cedis which is the equivalent of 545,100 Naira, a Nigerian with a minimum wage of N.18,000 a month can actually earn this amount in 30 months and two weeks or two years, six months and approximately three weeks.
So chilax bro as we are far ahead of Ghana in this race to become a billonaire.
Actually, what you have just proved is that the Ghanian currency is better than ours. . .
from your post quoted above,
i) the minimum wage in Ghana for a 31 day monthly period is #10,138.86. . .while
ii) the minimum wage in Nigeria for same 31 day monthly period is #25, 363.64 (according to you, #18, 000 is for 22 days, so I calculated for 31 days)
the "minimum" wage is synonymous to "survival" wage. . .
which invariably implies that a Ghanian worker can survive/derive satisfaction for a month on just #10, 138.86. . .however
a Nigerian worker would survive/derive same satisfaction for a month with #25, 363.64
a Nigerian is expected to and will have to spend more within the same period
shegsky: Lol. So Morocco s currency sef no get weight at all. And that PM was shouting as if Them use
the OP should have made it easier for you to understand and of course those who liked your post by stating the amount of naira to a unit (1) currency of the countries listed.
#20 is equivalent to 1 Morrocan Dirham #146 is equivalent to 1 Libyan Dinar #52.6 is equivalent to 1 Ghana Cedi #293 is equivalent to 1 Saint Helena Pounds
what you do is to find the inverse of the figure quoted by the OP
bigv: Seriously?? You've got to be kidding me. Not even an INEC related website.
Please y'all should be careful with data you submit on some of these anonymous 'electorate-data-loving' sites springing up now and then. DO NOT be misled! Simply walk into an INEC office closest to you, and ask whatever questions you have.
After all, no online 'search and locate' would physically deliver your PVC, not even DHL!
don't mind them, they will be the ones complaining that INEC Card Reader could not verify them or indicates that they've already been accredited. Forgetting that they have ignorantly supplied their details on a website not recommended by INEC.
Better to check INEC website for any info you desire or go straight to the nearest INEC office.

Shey na Kainji Dam him dey fuel ni? .... abi him dey supply light to the whole of him village?
We know that fuel is expensive and Power is very erratic in Nigeria. .. But the price of PMS and Diesel has not yet gotten that outrageously expensive
So Basketmouth should please shut the fucck up and stop blowing issues out of proportion
I guess u know he is not referring to "I better pass my neighbour" petrol generator!
if he uses between 50Kva and 100Kva diesel generator, such gen can consume 80 litres of diesel within 24 hours if u multiply 80 litres by #150, u will get #12,000 per day
