FG debt in dollars has increased. You clowns allowed yourself to be deceived by September 2024 stats
Nigeria’s debt increased due to FG component of external debt
lol. Pained hater. You should be providing evidence or just keep quiet.

PresidObi:
Are they counting this as an achievement? grin

I thought it should be attributed to states financial efficiency and not Federal government efforts? A wasteful governor must be wasteful.

Federal government should do their own savings and not claim the achievements of states as their own. Show us how much the Federal government saved.
The attached tweet perfectly describes you folks like you

What is the relationship between Tinubu and the states reducing debts when his own FG increased debts
This sounds like whitewashing a tomb
Same clowns who will always say hold your gov accountable are stealing their achievements for Tinubu
FG debt in the currency of payment has reduced significantly. Can’t you haters just stop lying to yourself. It was this same you that was crying about the GDP going down in USD even though it went up in Naira terms. Now that it comes to national debt, you prefer to use the Naira as the basis of your biased position instead of the USD that is the repayment currency. Stay consistent for once in your Tinubu hating career.

Legally Speaking Abure, you know you are out of there.....
Legally speaking, Nenadi Usman and her committee are standing on nothing. They have no legal leg to stand on as far as the LP constitution is concerned. The right thing is for the two factions to unite and come up with a unity NEC meeting that will produce a unified NWC. The party will soon go into extinction if they continue on this path of public fighting and factionalization.

..how can the economy grow.. when the federal government is not providing a conducive environment for businesses, companies, industries to thrive inorder for Nigeria to be a producing economy... from consuming economy to producing economy... A country and Tinubu government where businesses, companies, industries are struggling to survive the hard economy and many shutting down.. it's a producing economy that will grow the economy not a consuming economy, empowerment and palliative economy and palliative government... sharing of rice and sharing of money..conditional cash transfer.. does not grow the economy and the country
Tinubu became president less than two years ago. You want him to turn the economy from consuming to producing in less than two years? You thinks get done by doing Cho Cho Cho all over the media like Peter Obi is doing?

Things were so bad we couldn’t finance our letters of credit again as at the time Tinubu took over in 2023. Do you guys even understand what the issues are at all? You think it’s just rhetorics?

How do you grow the economy without a stable currency? How do you grow the economy when you spend 97% of your revenue on debt servicing? How do you grow the economy when the country bears the burden of subsidizing the PMS consumed by the entire west African region? How do you grow the economy when no one wants to pay the actual market price for PMS, electricity, education, fertilizers and even the Naira?

See, until all the macro economic issues are resolved and settled, nothing can trickle down to the micro and that is what Tinubu is doing. And that is why sensible opposition members like Otti are on the same page with Tinubu. Otti sure knows more about the economy than you and Peter Obi.

Nigerians it's left for you to decide your fate and destiny in 2027 and 2027 election... if you still want to continue with the poverty, hunger, hardship, inflation, high costs of living, high rate of unemployment, insecurity or not ?
The current economic direction despite the hardship is the only sensible path available for the country. Gov. Otti was right when he said we either keep to it or watch the economy go in flames.

Those in the opposition knows this. They won’t do anything different but they will lie to you that they will do better. This is our reality and we must stay the course if we want the economy to grow and recover.

Somehow, this Natasha and her sponsors think they have the capacity to get to Tinubu? This Barbie doll is a learner. You don’t even need half an IQ to figure out that she’s being sponsored to get Akpabio out so that they can have a go at Tinubu.

Sadly for all of them, they lack them mental capacity to pull off such stunt. They’ve not gotten anywhere and the entire plot has lost traction. So much for our governor wannabe 🤣🤣🤣

Agboriotejoye:
Fake stats

If not that Tinubu is not proud. He will just make N1=$1 and Nigeria's GDP will overtake even US to become $79trn

Who goes about calculating GDP in dollars if not enemies of the country who want to downgrade the good work of our lord and Master jagaban

I think we should rename 2015 as the year of calamity
In terms of real output, our economic performance has not dropped since 2023. In fact, more businesses are making huge money and recording crazy profits.

In Naira terms, our GDP has grown astronomically. Funny enough, when it comes to discussing national debt, hypocritical folks like this guy would argue that we should discuss in Naira terms since Naira is our reporting currency and not the USD but when it comes to discussing GDP, they switch quickly to the USD and ignore the Naira.

Every sensible person knows that the fall in our USD GDP is basically an exchange rate valuation issue and has nothing to do with a drop in the real economic performance. If Tinubu decides to peg the exchange rate at $1/N450 today like Jonathan and Buhari did, our USD GDP will rise immediately to over $600billion. But then, will that add anything to the real performance?

Only a person with a brain full of cow dungs would see the figures of our net foreign reserve and national indebtedness as at 2023 and still argue that we should have continue to borrow to subsidize both PMS and our currency. The era of that pure foolishness is over.

Despite Argentina’s GDP, why are they still borrowing to subsidize their currency? At a time Nigeria’s net foreign reserve has jumped up to over $23 billion, Argentina with big paper value USD GDP is still running to IMF to get bailout loan of $20billion to subsidize their currency. As at today, Argentina is the most indebted country to IMF. Is that the ruinous path you all want our dear country to continue on? You want us to be using N99 out of every N100 revenue that we earn for debt servicing? Don’t you guys pity the country at all?
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s FBI Files: U.S. Accused Of Political Harassment, Witch-hunting by ALTERNATEID: 2:03pm On May 01, 2025
This is not an APC support group and I’m not surprised that it’s the lying platform called People’s Gazette that is reporting this.

The same group of charlatans who are behind the FBI or whatever report are the same set of people behind this group and the media coverage when they saw that no one is interested in the FBI rubbish again, they have to resort to this nonsense to gain attention and make it look like someone is concerned or interested.

For the records, Mr. President did nothing wrong and has nothing to be afraid of. The FBI report on the investigation has been released already and there is nothing new that is not already out there. Apart from propaganda value like this false press conference from a group sponsored by the opposition, the report has no value whatsoever.

CBN have to remove the three zero in each currency

1000 naira to be 1 naira

3000 naira to be 3 naira

That's the only way we can value our money
Redenomination will not change the value of the naira since the new N1 will have the same value and purchasing power as the old N1000. Go to Ghana and ask them how well they are doing since they removed four zeros from their money.

The OP talked about capital flight and that’s absolutely ridiculous and extremely ignorant. The current transparent, open, honest and stable exchange rate has attracted lots of capital inflow into the country. How did you guys think we were able to increase our net foreign reserve from $3.9 billion in 2023 to $23 billion as at last month? You think the money came from Tinubu’s pocket?

In fact, JP Morgan is now considering re-listing Nigeria on its government bond index because of our very transparent exchange rate. So, you guys really need to get a good understanding of the issues before jumping around to post nonsense opinions.

News like this is sad but what is even more depressing is the sheer naivety of Nigerians who sincerely believe that corruption, ipso facto, is the sole or main albatross to improving living standards for Nigerians. It is not. Living standards deteriorated significantly in Buhari's first tenure as president. Without sound economic policies, there is no hope for improving people's lives unless you have the good fortune of an oil price boom.

In this particular case, it is the CBN's policy ineptitude that is at fault. By restricting market forces from determining the value of Naira in a bone-headed attempt to stop the Naira from falling, we have reduced the attractive of Nigeria as an investment destination. However, the CBN will not embark on this if it did not have the support of a President who believes in a command economy.

I suspect the market has already got this largely priced in as it was anticipated. Nevertheless, it is overall bad news and confirms my suspicion that policy ineptitude under the new regime will more than offset the reduction in corruption.
Tinubu is now doing the exact opposite of this and we are about to be re-listed on the JP Morgan index. Hope you’re now happy or you’re still sad as a perpetual hating Obidient?
