Celebrities › Re: Davido Gives Very Detailed Explanation On Sophia, Imade & Dele Momodu's Role by ALTERNATEID: 11:22pm On Jul 07, 2024
Several tests were conducted on her and later on the mother. Medical reports, herein attached (exhibit 1), proved that Sophia’s blood was polluted to the maximum level with cannabis and she had by the process of breast feeding infected her child with complicated medical conditions associated with the use of alcohol and especially cannabis. The trouble spot for Imade was her lungs. She had difficulty breathing largely because of the contaminated breast milk and the severity of the “Second Smoke” of marijuana inhaled by the poor child.
Wow! Just wow! Poor Imade. The little girl has been the victim in all of these since she was a baby.
Politics › Re: Report On Samoa Agreement: Our Position - Daily Trust by ALTERNATEID:
Any sensible person can easily see from this response that Daily Trust have absolutely no defense for all the stories they have published against the government. They couldn’t offer any reasonable explanation or evidence for any of the stories. Hopefully, FG will go all out and sue them for the lies and attempt to set the country on fire through outrightly false publication.

Democracy and freedom of the press shouldn’t be an excuse for publishing injurious content that can lead to breakdown of law and order. Enough should be enough.

neither did GRV call it no mans land..

it was your yoruba leader, Lateef Jakande that called it so.
Why do you guys keep bringing up GRV? Is it by force that he must win election? Is he the first person to lose election in Nigeria? The people of Lagos voted against Chinedu because there is a better and more reliable candidate on the ballot. So, how’s that an issue?
Politics › Re: Why I Founded Yoruba Party In UK - Dr Olusola Oni by ALTERNATEID: 5:32am On Jul 06, 2024
God bless you Dr. Olusola Oni. You are doing a great service for the Yoruba people all over the world by bringing Yoruba culture, values, history, religion and consciousness to the front burner of UK politics. May Eledumare continue to guide you in your quest for promoting Yoruba consciousness.

Was looking forward to her loss after throwing Nigeria under the bus while running for PM.
She’s still one of us and we have to rally round her. She very likely going to emerge as the next leader of the Conservative Party and that’s good for the image of Nigeria.
Foreign Affairs › Re: UK Elections: Which Method Of Quick Transferring And Collation Did The UK Use?? by ALTERNATEID: 11:57pm On Jul 05, 2024
UK is a parliamentary democracy. There is no national collation. Elections are conducted at constituency level and result declared. What they declare at national level is the number of seats won by each political party and not a collation of national result.

In a presidential system like Nigeria, all results must be counted and collated into one. This is a process that start from polling unit to ward level to local government collation to state collation and finally, national collation. You can’t achieve that in 24 hours.

If we are to count only parliamentary seats, we can also determine the party with majority of seats in the National Assembly in 24 hours because almost all the seats were declared the following day. So, stop contributing apples with oranges.

lexy2014:
which $5b is flowing into the country?

even if it does, what will that do for you?
It doesn’t have to do anything for me in particular but the economy at large. Most importantly, an improved forex inflow will contribute to an improved economy and that will give haters like you a lot of hot tears. That’s enough for me.

StreetFight:
South Africa and Algeria can compete with us, but when Ghana and Benin Republic who cannot breathe without Nigeria dey show face, then something is wrong. Countries that cannot even compete with Ibadan, not to talk of Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja no even dey for the discussion
You are talking nonsense. Every sovereign country has the right to compete for hosting the energy bank. Ethiopia is not among the biggest economies in Africa but the headquarter of AU is located in Addis Ababa. In case you wish to know, Nigeria competed for the right to host the then OAU headquarters before it was won by Ethiopia.

The energy bank is a big deal for Nigeria. We are looking at over $5billion inflow into the country. That’s why a lot of countries also competed to host the bank. Kudos to the Tinubu administration for pulling this off.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Labour Party Wins UK General Election, Outgoing PM Sunak Concedes by ALTERNATEID: 6:55am On Jul 05, 2024
Too bad for Rishi Sunak. For someone of Indian heritage, he took over as PM at the worst time possible. Managing the economic challenges that came with Covid-19 has been difficult all over the world. No magic could have made him win the election.

Congratulations to Keir Starmer. This is a very massive victory that was thought impossible just five years ago. Now that he will be assuming office as PM, it’s time to face the reality and walk the talk. He will no longer be the opposition leader criticizing everything and making the man in office look so bad. Let’s see the magic he will perform in the next one year.

To those bad losers from Nigeria, there is a lesson here for you guys. The losers accepted defeat without blaming anyone or lying that they won. The leader of the party that came third did not go on live TV to falsely claim they won the election unlike in Nigeria where a candidate that couldn’t even get 25% of vote cast in 15 states somehow started claiming he won the election.
