emorse:If you are sensible, you would know that what you are calling a product of digging is actually a fake document. Such a shame seeing the low level of IQ on display here. Tueh. |
Rufai Oseni must be the most stupid human being to ever appear on TV. Like, how can someone with half a brain ask such a senseless question? Is he expecting Chicago state university to write a new letter for every David, Aisha and Emeka that visits the school looking for Bola Tinubu? That is a standard letter that would be giving to everyone making enquiries about Bola Tinubu. If I go there today to make same enquiry, they will give me the same letter. Rufai and his fellow Obi supporters really need to stop disgracing Nigeria with this kind of embarrassing question. |
ElSudani:Inexperience, vendetta and stupidity. A sensible administrator would first consolidate and bring many people as possible to his side instead of fighting everybody. He has made enemies out of NURTW leadership, Traditional rulers, top civil servants and members of the state house of assembly in just 24 hours in office. Anyway, we are here to watch as the drama unfolds. Osun will definitely be in the news almost daily for the next four years for no good reason. |
We are going back to $15k because of the Binance fud and blockfi filling for bankruptcy. Those who have short the market are the ones behind all the unnecessary fud. Crypto really needs regulation at this point. Too much manipulation of the market. |
chimeremodlyn:People can be good and clean without the threat of hellfire. If people are good and clean simply because of the threat of hellfire, that’s deception. |
Christistruth00:I wish all of them well. They got what they wanted. |
Christistruth00:Osun is already upside down. There was a serious fight this morning as thugs loyal to PDP attempted to forcefully take over the control of Osogbo garage from NURTW leadership. Now, he has dethroned three traditional rulers. I wish the good people of Osun state well. |
omonnakoda:No one is as desperate as a man with a political ambition. They can do anything and believe anything in as much as they feel it can lead to the actualization of his ambition. |
Obalacam:He has addressed the Chatham house before so this is not a big deal. I will be here to shame you after the success of his next Chatham house address. |
Hopefully, the clown called David Hundeyin and the other idiots calling Tinubu a convicted drug trafficker can get him arrested when he lands in London or US. If Tinubu returns from this trip without being arrested, then it’s a big shame to all you idiots talking rubbish about him. |
See the attached screenshot as tweeted by the official APC presidential campaign council handle. APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will embark on foreign trips from December 4 to meet global leaders and pitch his Presidential aspiration.https://twitter.com/apcprescc2022/status/1597171879248564226?s=46&t=0NJdn6v3YQsS0JlYvHhMyQ

iwaeda:The plan for the 4th mainland bridge was conceived by Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration. The planning, design and how to raise the needed finance have been ongoing since the Tinubu administration. Gigantic projects like this don’t happen overnight. It takes a lot of planning over several administration. It is never an Ambode project. |
Alhaji, Alhaji and mallam. Adeleke is PDP so CAN wont say pim. |
ganisucks:A lot of former US governors are in the senate. Mitt Romney for example was a governor and a Republican nominee for president. After losing to Barack Obama, he contested for senate and won. So you see, our politicians are actually copying US politicians. Oshiomole will win the Edo north senatorial election easily. Shaibu and Alimikhena are simply wasting their time and money. Nobody can defeat Oshiomhole in Edo north. |
DeAdvokate:Tinubu is the candidate of APC and not south west. If you can’t get something as basic as this correctly, you have no business opening thread on Nairaland. Go back to school and learn about multiparty democracy. |
immortalcrown:Hopefully, you can help us tell your brothers to stay put in your villages that have better names instead of rushing to Lagos to sell gala in traffic, fake spare parts at Ladipo and pirated works at Alaba market. |
immortalcrown:Enugu and Onitsha are considered as villages not worthy of being ranked among the top 60 mega cities in world. |
It is a good sign that Lagos is the only city in Nigeria worthy enough to be ranked among the top 60 cities in the world. Those doing the ranking don’t even consider Awka, Enugu, Onitsha etc as cities. They are all villages not worthy of mention. Yes, Lagos is not there yet but it is no longer where it used to be. It is now among the recognized mega cities of the world and the fifth largest economy in Africa. If you don’t like Lagos, tell your folks to stop coming to Lagos. Stay back in your cities and leave Lagos alone. |
Out of the 8 years, Saraki was number 3 in the APC administration for 4 years. |
Sarch:There are various institutions that can give loan to a state government. If Oyetola wanted loan, he would have gotten it from a number of places. I can assure you that Adeleke will take nothing less than N100billion loan in the next one year. |
Obi should get about 10k votes in Ogun, 15k in Oyo, 3k in Osun, 1.5k in Ekiti and 4k in Ondo state. OP, you’re free to come up with the percentages. |
broadman20:He’s a billionaire already. I will gladly accept to work and learn from him. |
Solomon. I like him for his wisdom, wealth and women. ![]() |
There is nothing like hell fire. Stop scaring people with fiery tales. Once you die, that’s the end. Nobody is burning forever in any imaginary fire forever and ever for drinking beer and having multiple consensual sex partners while alive. |
Pat081:You need to go back to school for proper education. |
GratefulSoul27:Cash does not mean raw cash. He left N14billion in the account of the state and not raw cash. That you don’t even understand something this basic is very troubling. |
ENGINEERG:Good governance. All we want is a Nigeria that is working for everybody irrespective of ethnicity and religion. Lagos is the best governed state in Nigeria today because of the quality leadership of Tinubu. We need him to replicate the same leadership at the centre so that all Nigerians can benefit and not just Lagos state. We want him to create opportunities in every state so that Anambra people for example can stay back in Anambra instead of rushing to Lagos for get-out-of-poverty opportunities. Hope you get? |
OlujobaSamuel:No sensible person will compare the clueless and extremely corrupt Jonathan to a brilliant and prudent financial manager like Oyetola. Jonathan became president at the height of Nigeria’s oil boom. He inherited a country free of debt and with oil production and price at the highest ever. At the end of the day, he had absolutely nothing to show for it other than huge debt and abandoned projects. Oyetola on the other hand inherited a dysfunctional state with over N200billion debt, months of unpaid workers salaries, religious crisis and huge debt to contractors. In addition, he was governor at the worst period of time in terms of revenue from federation account and covid-19 pandemic. Despite all the above challenges, he paid N97billion outbid the debt he inherited and did not take a single kobo as loan. He cleared all the workers salaries and still left over N14billion for the incoming administration. He also resolved the socio-religious problems that Rauf created. Just recently, world bank maned him the best governor in Nigeria in terms of prudent management of state finances. So, how’s Oyetola and Jonathan the same thing? Make it make sense. |
For four years, we did not take any bank loan facility. But we benefitted from the N3billion monthly intervention from the federal Government to all the States for six months to cushion the effect of deductions of budget support facility and salary bailout accessed by the previous administration, just as we have paid N97 billion from the total debt we inherited in 2018.Oyetola is the best governor in recent years in Nigeria looking at the way he managed the extremely poor finances of Osun state. Aregbesola accumulated so much debt and still couldn’t pay workers salaries. Oyetola did not borrow a dime, paid back some of the Aregbe debt, paid workers as at when due, did some capital projects and still left money behind for the incoming administration. Sadly, any governor that is prudent with state resources is not always popular with the people. We prefer the governor that accumulates huge debt and share everything to political cronies and state elites. In the next four years, we shall be here God willing to do a postmortem of the Ade Dancer administration. Hopefully, President Bola Tinubu will take this guy to Abuja as Finance minister next year. He’s an excellent financial manager. We need folks like him to manage the finances of this country in this period. Posterity will be very kind to him. |
garfield1:Don’t be too sure. |
ItsTutsi:Tambuwal won reelection narrowly because of the intervention of the Sultan. Ordinarily, he should have lost the reelection. Despite the narrow victory, he has performed abysmally in his second term. Sokoto now has the highest poverty rate in Nigeria with over 90% of the state population living in poverty. He is extremely unpopular in the state right now. Wamako will show him pepper in the next election. |
Oyo state governorship election will be very tough. I don’t like Teslim Folarin but he’s a very competent grassroots politician and mobilizer. Makinde had it easy over Adelabu in 2019 because of the coalition of political heavyweights that supported him, and the inexperience of Penkele. Now, the coalition is no longer there and Teslim is not the inexperienced and unpopular Adelabu. The Tinubu factor is also on Teslim’s side and that is why Makinde cannot even come out to campaign against Tinubu. Overall, I’m not opposed to Makinde winning a second term and I’m also open to a Teslim administration. I wish both of them the best of luck. |
