Southern senators don't have the numbers to impeach any president but their northern senators can impeach any southern president because they have the numbers to do so, the system of government we practice here in Nigeria can't help us because it has already given an edge to the north over the south, that's why we are advocating for true federalism.

According to the constitution, a minimum of 77 senators are needed to impeach the president. Let’s take the north and FCT to be a monolithic bloc, in total they have 57 senators. So, how did you arrive at the conclusion that northern senators have the numbers to impeach a southern president without the support of southern senators?

See, I don’t like wasting my time arguing with dishonest people. I have reproduced above in bold the comment I responded to. So, what part of that comment is talking about an uprising? The guy clearly said the south west region will burn down totally and be turned to Pakistan. If you’re honest and sensible, you should not be justifying the above statement.

Reasonable folks should be disgusted by the comment and not attack the person that called him out. But then, you’re Ibo with the same mindset as the other guy. All you want is for south west to go up in flames. Sadly for you, it won’t happen. With common sense, we turned our June 12 loss to Obasanjo presidency. The attack happened in Oyo state and not Lagos. We should be asking where was Makinde when it happened? Why has the governor and chief security officer of Oyo state not said anything since the attack took place? Why did Makinde betray his Yoruba brother? I don’t know if there were casualties or not during the attack but the fact that he attacked security agents at the border and took away their guns is enough crime to charge him to court for.

There is nothing wrong with secessionist agitation in as much as it is peaceful and non confrontational. Secessionist agitators are in almost every country including US, China, Russia, Spain etc.

The difference is that they are peaceful and law abiding. They also get involved heavily in politics. They form secessionist political party with secession as their main ideology and aim. That’s what our own agitators should learn. Form their own party, get their members elected into various arms of government with the aim to use their political power to push for what they want.

Igboho’s biggest mistake was attacking the Idi Iroko border. It was an unnecessary and senseless attack. That is what DSS will charge him for and not necessarily for the campaign for secession because his rallies have been largely peaceful.

Makinde is the governor of Oyo state. He sold Igboho out. You Ibos should not drag Tinubu into this.

DSS planned the operation in conjunction with Makinde. He can’t deny knowledge of it. Has he said anything since yesterday?
