Hi nairalanders, i am a graduate of physics and I have been into teaching for seven years now where I teach physics, though I am not an educationist certified and I have not done my PGDE, but I would like to know if any university in Nigeria would accept my third class result for masters degree directly, irrespective of the field of study, I don't mind. Mature minds only. Thank you

You have already wasted much time and money on a first degree, now you want to waste even more money on MSC? Here's my advice, either you forget about university and concentrate on a career as a danfo driver or you enroll in a less challenging course, like mass communication or psychology or some other basket-weaving course, and stay as far away from Physics as possible.

My first-semester result is Upper credit In a state-owned polytechnic Ogun State... I'm currently studying mass communication in ND11, I'm working hard to boost my GPA too not relaxed at all (distinction) and I aim to study journalism I need advice on which university will be best for me. Also, a side hustle advice 2 is welcomed...Thanks.

Not even a Science/Engineering program and you couldn't even pull A's? Do yourself a favor, don't waste any more money on university and buy yourself a korope to make money.
Politics / Re: Don’t Release My Documents To Atiku - Tinubu Tells Chicago University by Alusiizizi(m): 9:33pm On Aug 25, 2023
accordadoga25:
Hehehe.

CSU already said Tinubu graduated from their school.

.
Maybe you are new to the parameters involved in this case so let me bring you to speed. A "Bola Tinubu" did indeed graduate from CSU, the only problem is that the Bola Tinubu in question was a woman, not a man which Tinubu clearly is. Tinubu is trying to brush of date discrepancies as "clerical error", I long to see how he will explain the gender discrepancy in the records, that would really be a hat trick.

accordadoga25:

What evidences are Atiku and pänd0ra still looking for?

Tinubu's academic records are in the public domain, so the court will only grant Atiku his prayer, there's nothing that can stop this, not even a few ghana-must-go full of dollars.

accordadoga25:

Atiku is gradually going into depression like the 3rd class dullard.

Yes, no wonder Tinubu is frantically trying to prevent his academic records from being revealed. All eyes on the judiciary! All eyes on the judiciary! Do you want to know why? I'll tell you. Because the evidence of electoral malfeasance is just too much. Even if the CJN was Tinubus brother, it would be very difficult to see how the court will uphold that election.

accordadoga25:

This couple should go and rest. It's not by force to rule Nigeria
Absolutely correct. Tell that to Tinubu. It's not by force to rule Nigeria.

accordadoga25:

CSU should not release any result to anybody.

Wishful thinking. Those records are going to be released, and there's nothing that anyone can do about it.

Anybody not satisfied with that should go and hug transformer.[/quote]

Hey there, Nairalanders.

Gather 'round. You've got to hear about RemoteShare, my WiFi file sharing app that's been a true labor of love.

So here's the deal – I embarked on this crazy adventure of building RemoteShare, and guess what? It took a whopping 18 months to get it all polished and ready. Now, why the marathon, you ask?
The usual suspects of course – Nigeria's epileptic power supply issues played a starring role, and let me tell you, it's like a rollercoaster you never signed up for. Not to mention, creating an app of this magnitude is a daunting task that, even with constant power supply would have taken few months still.

Think about this – creating an app with the lights flickering on and off more often than a disco ball. That's what it felt like, trying to code with the constant threat of power cuts looming over my head. And don't even get me started on the unpredictable nature of it all.

But the pièce de résistance? Our area's transformer. It had this uncanny knack for turning life upside down by failing for weeks on end. Picture this – you're deep into a coding spree, and suddenly, the lights go out, your work goes poof, and you're left with nothing but the hum of frustration. Knowing your job has just been totally halted for the next couple weeks.

In the midst of this chaos, my trusty laptop, a relic from the past, stood by me – a 11-year-old Lenovo that refused to give up the ghost. Its battery, though, had a mind of its own, often deciding to call it quits when I least expected it.

Fast forward, and here we are, RemoteShare in all its glory. A whopping 40,000 lines of code that are a testament to grit, determination, and a touch of madness. And guess what? This was my very first project after learning the ABCs of Android, built with native java, and my first venture into programming as a whole.

Now, the real gem of RemoteShare – it lets you remotely view the content on during connection – you can hide any file or section from being viewed by others.

But wait, there's more! With RemoteShare, you can initiate a connection by sending a notification to the other device, making file sharing a breeze. Plus, we've added some fantastic features like a music player, a video player, and a file manager to enhance your sharing experience.

And let me tell you, we've made sure that the app is incredibly simple to use, with a user-friendly interface that even newcomers to tech will find a piece of cake.

So there you have it, folks. The power supply saga that fueled the creation of RemoteShare. Give it a spin, share your thoughts, and let's keep the conversation buzzing. Here's to power struggles turned into something truly amazing! 🚀

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.filesharing.file.transfer.manager.remoteshare

Your tenacity is to be commended. Though 40,000 lines of code is hardly "whopping".

Whenever I read stories like this, I try not to get too fascinated because I know it's usually the product of cheap journalism or British manipulation trying to work on the ego of the black man.

Black people especially Nigerians go to the whiteman's land and create impeccable academic records but they disappear whenever real knowledge is needed.

Ground breaking researches in every area is always led by and dominated by the whites.

This is something that can't be taken from them as far the current model of development is pursued all over the world.

USA annually budget 800bn for their military and don't know what to do with it. Spending just 100bn on Ukraine will take Ukrainian military spending almost double of Russian military budget. The war is just starting. Russia will have a hostile, bloodthirsty neighbor for the rest of their lives.

Ukraine sacrificed their capital city just to throw toys at Moscow? That's the problem with you guys isn't it? A most complete analysis of the war has been given to you, free of charge, and yet you ignore it in favor of the packaged soundbites that CNN feeds out on a daily basis.

If there was any iota of truth in this , then why did yorubas allow their heartland and commercial headquarters Lagos to be used as the battle command headquarters by the Nigeria military when a more military fortified city like kaduna existed.
This is like justifying attacks and plans to surround and capture kyiv capital of Ukraine and crying foul when Ukraine attacks Moscow capital of Russia how chronically hypocritical and devoid of sound wisdom can this line of thought be.

Because the SouthWest needed the help of the north, thus uniting the rest of Nigeria against Biafra, and also because you can't help a friend kill rats in his house while relaxing in your bedroom. Got it now?

kettykin:

That apart , Russia fought a pure military battle against Ukraine while the Nigeria military depended on blockade of food and medical supplies by red cross, sabotage of farm lands . More Biafrans died from starvation than of bullets.
More Biafran civilians died than Biafran soldiers this is in contrast to the Russia Ukraine war were there is more casualties on the military side than on the Civilian population.

Probably true. But for the unity of the rest of Nigeria against Biafra as well as foreign support of Nigeria against the Biafrans, we would have won the civil war.

What are you thanking her for? Trust me, the likes of KoboJunkie or whatever her name is would be the last sort of people to be taking advice from. You will need to move back home with your Father and give some space, all that while, hoping that he gets his act together and accepts you back, but trust me, that one incident of you calling in armed policemen to manhandle your own husband will be the bane of your marriage for as long as it lasts. If you are a wise woman, you will devise ways to compensate for his eternal resentment of you, for the sake of your children.

Good afternoon Nl family
Please pardon my epistle

My husband lost his job two years ago and ever since he has been so reluctant on getting another.. not to brag but I can say I have been the one keeping the family going ever since the job incidence (not like I ever complained) .

What I noticed about him is he now drinks and smokes and he is always hissing (obviously he is not happy and I try to always console him just to elate his Spirit)

Fast forward to last two months.. I got back from work and I was very tired.. I had to go pick the kids from school , bathe them, feed them and to make matters worst I wasn't feeling too alright .. (when I got home he (my husband) wasn't at home)

When I was done with the kids and fixing the house I was so tired I thought to myself to take a lil nap that was how I slept off (and this was around 9pm) ..

He got back around 10pm obviously drunk and smelling like a skunk.. he went straight to the kitchen. That was how the whole problem started.. first was insult.. then my phone, smashed it on the ground later my clothes he started tearing them .. saying all those things he was destroying was why I was feeling untouchable that he knows I have male friends sleeping with me..

I tried securing my items so he doesn't destroy more things that was how he pounced on me..

The next day I got him arrested he spent two days there.. but now I feel so guilty... He doesn't talk to me anymore.. I have apologized times without number

I don't just know what to do...

Nb: even while he was there I was still taking food to him

The moment that you brought in other men to overpower your husband in his own house, your marriage was irreversably destroyed. What you did was even worse than keeping other men as boyfriends, in his eyes, and trust me, cry all you want but he will never forgive you. Your only option now is to move back to your Fathers' house.

Good morning to you all,

So yesterday, I was in one of my family house at obalende to say hello, immediately I entered I just sighted a beautiful bag with food stuff..

I was told it was shared freely to all the resident of of the LCDA...

Honestly, all the elected politician in ikoyi obalende are special breeds, their love for development and extending their hands to people who needs is very high...

Lagos lead, others follow, I know they will still share school stuff for students resuming soon...

It's their usual practice to share branded school bags, mathematical sets, shoes 👞 and some other school stuff, to help the student well when resuming and helping the parent to save from there...

This is what I call eye-service, pro-max. That food will probably last for like what, a week? The only sustainable palliative that I can see here is in the reduction of cost of governance. If your politicians are clueless on what's involved in this then let them go and consult with Anambra Governor, Chukwuma Soludo.
