Buhari you are a proud Fulani man, but you have failed to understand that the typical Niger Delta man is a PROUD man also. And we are not cowards; you can not STOP the amnesty given to repentant Niger Delta militants by your predecessors andSTART an amnesty programme for your Fulani terrorists (Bokoharam) with the money from our crude oil. GOD FORBID BAD THING. . You can not set aside one billion naira from our OIL money on grazing reserves for your Fulani herdsmen and remove the host communities funds from the PIB and expect us to clap for you. NO WAY! Go and start exporting cows and get money to fund the Grazing Reserves. VERY SIMPLE! You can not be LOUDLY threatening the Niger Delta avengers and QUIETLY negotiating with Fulani herdsmen and Bokoharam members. NO WAY BUHARI; it should be the other way round, and pretty soon the actions of these men will bring you to your knees on the negotiation table. . You want to cripple the Niger Delta Development commission; and... FULL STORY HERE >>> http://www.igberetvnews.com/18461

After a long wait, the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria has bowed to pressure, thus, directing its management to switch to a flexible exchange rate policy. This is in negation of President Buhar’s promise on several occasions that his administration will maintain the exchange rate of the Naira at N199 against the dollar. One of Buhari’s campaign promises during the 2015 elections was that his administration will make Naira equal to a dollar. ALSO READ: Senate Torn Apart as Sen. Singer and Producer, J. Martin posted this (below) on his verified facebook page few hours ago. Read and be the judge: I am trying to understand the logic in this. I am told one of the men in the picture below is a "repentant" Boko Haram member who isthe "husband" of the young girl who is allegedly one of the Chibok girls said to have been forcefully abducted from her school over 750 days ago. (1) Why is a man who was part of a terrorist criminal group that attacked and firebombed a school, killing the security guards, and abducting hundreds of young girls in a picture with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? (2) Why was this criminal given a State reception and a Presidential handshake? FULL STORY HERE http://www.igberetvnews.com/14935

PRESS STATEMENT My attention and that of the Nigerian public have been drawn to the recent statements made by the British Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron in which he characterized Nigeria as a "fantastically corrupt country" during his briefing to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth just before theanti corruption summit which was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari in London. The statements of the British Prime Minister are most unfortunate and unguarded, given the relationship between the Nigeria and Britain, two countries who share very long and deep heritage; and especially as the British PM did not state the basis on which he made such assertion which has now become public. It is also a gross disrespect and a most uncharitable disposition to the Nigerian people who work hard to ear their living and who have made very positive impacts on the lives of British people and their economy. Also, such statements coming from the convener of the summit himself, just before the commencement, suggest that either he doesn't take the summit serious, or he is deceptive in terms of his commitment to the Nigerian government in the fight against corruption. In the light of this, the British Prime Minister should render an immediate and unreserved apology to the Nigerian people and to President Buhari for those embarrassing comments. As a responsible government and former colonists of Nigeria, my advise is that Britain should handle this matter with the required level of responsibility and prudence so as to avoid a possible breakdown of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Here’s a little Trivia about Beyonce’s “Love Drought” video scene…The picture that you see below Beyonce’s photo above is about the story of “Igbo Landing” – An act of mass resistance against slavery. For those who don’t know, Igbo Landing is the location of a mass suicide of Igbo slaves that occurred in 1803 on St. Simons Island, Georgia. As the story goes, a group of Igbo slaves revolted andtook control of their slave ship, grounded it on an island, and rather than submit to slavery, proceeded to march into the water while singing in Igbo, drowning themselves in turn. They all chose death over slavery. It was an act of mass resistance against the horrors of slavery and became a legend, particularly amongst the Gullah people living near the site of Igbo Landing. So why was Beyonce doing it? I’m sure you can figure that out after learning this. According to Wkipedia: Igbo Landing (alternatively written as Ibo Landing, Ebo Landing, or Ebos Landing) is a historic site at Dunbar Creek on St. Simons Island, Glynn County, Georgia. It was the setting of a mass suicide in 1803 by captive Igbo people who had taken control of their slave ship and... Read full story HERE >>>> http://www.igberetvnews.com/11691

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo Monday said Nigeria would have made remarkable progress if his successors had continued with the policies and programmes of his administration. He declared that while the late former President Umaru Yar’Adua reversed some of his policies, the succeeding administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan also slipped into massive corruption, which his (Obasanjo) regime fought to a standstill. He also said President Muhammadu Buhari may not be actively knowledgeable about economy and foreign affairs matters... Full story here>>> http://www.igberetvnews.com/11545

Let me tell you what is happening now. Now I am in Awka, where young students decided to launch a book on the vision of our heroes past. They decided to use Odumegwu Ojukwu’s name in the launching. Some boys sometime ago met me to play a role in the launching after I went to the University of Calabar to attend a very beautiful conference where Maitama Sule, Ken Nnamani, Ibrahim Mantu and others were in attendance. The same students organized something at Women Development Centre, Awka. But I arrived Awka at night, I started hearing that the Department of State Service (DSS) was discouraging the event in Awka, the students had paid the money for using the Women Development Centre. When I arrived at night, I went straight to the governor, Dr. Willie Obiano but the governor was not in town. I was only able to get through to the Chief of Staff and I asked him why some people would be treated this way; why the President continued to treat the South East as if he wants them to leave Nigeria. I do not know. Some of us are forced to ask that question. Nigeria is not Buhari, and Buhari is not Nigeria. - Chief Ezeife (Former Anambra Governor) Read the full story HERE >>> http://www.igberetvnews.com/11355

DaBullIT:Again SHAME ON YOU! STUPID APC ZOMBIE http://dailypost.ng/2016/05/02/fuel-hits-n300-in-akwa-ibom-as-dpr-condemns-strike-by-tanker-drivers/ The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Eket office, has decried the strike by Petroleum Tankers Driver’s (PTD), as fuel price moves between N250 and N300 per litre in Akwa Ibom. Mr Bassey Nkanga said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Eket, Akwa Ibom.. He said that the strike had further caused hardship to the people of the state. Nkanga said that the five-day strike had moved up the price of fuel due to non-supply of the product by the PTD in the state. “There is no fuel in Akwa Ibom, Petroleum Tankers’ Drivers have not supplied petroleum products to Akwa Ibom in the past five days. “I have alerted the government and the people concerned and the PTD – the tanker drivers. “They are members of the NUPENG larger body. They have been having issues and I do not know why fuel has not come into the state in the past five days,’’ Nkanga said. He said that men of the DPR were on ground to prevent marketers from taking advantage of the situation in the state, adding that sanction awaits those marketers who would take advantage of the situation. “Our men are on ground; In case any marketer wants to take advantage of the situation, he will pay dearly for it. “We are on it. As it is now and if by today we do not resolve the impasse, it would be terrible. “By now, if all our efforts have yielded the desired results, nobody would have complained because we have cleared the issue in Calabar. “If you go to Calabar, you just drive into filling stations there and buy and drive out without any problem. “Imagine denying a state of an essential product for five days. Wherever they are selling fuel in the state, we are working to ensure nobody takes advantage of the situation,’’ he said. Nkanga said that the DPR was doing its best to bargain with the tanker drivers’ union to ensure availability of the product. (NAN) |
DaBullIT:Shame on you for supporting this clueless and irresponsible govt. If the marketers are selling above the official price, who's duty is it to check them? |
