Drabeey:Whenever some unsuspecting Yoruba is told that Yoruba is deeply divided between Muslim Yoruba and non-Muslim Yoruba groups, the unsuspecting Yoruba shouts "*olorun," religion doesn't separate Yorubas. You remind them because the Muslim Yoruba group is strongly affiliated to the descendants of Othman Dan Fodio, and cannot think of having another country without the descendants of Othman Dan Fodio, hence Oduduwa country is impossible, they say you are separating Yorubas. Hmmmm. Make I wake pass. |
gocac:Did Britain borrow money to build the first rail roads in Nigeria? Even if Britain did, did it not build rails to include east, west, north and south of Nigeria? But Buhari govt is borrowing money to build rail lines for SW and north with a section of SS, mainly for siphoning oil proceeds from SS, and taken to the SW for onward transmission to Abuja in the north. It excluded SE and NE. The loan shall be repaid by South, East, West and North of Nigeria. But the SE and NE and huge parts of SS shall also be included in repaying the loan for rails for NW and SW. Worse, his govt schemes that similar rail road for SE shall whenever possible in future be conceded to a private company who shall build it and charge cut-throat prices from users in the SE to NE. What a most wicked govt ever in the History of mankind. How does any sane human being deduce that Nigeria shall exist ten years from now, talk less become a giant in the face of all these? Jonathan from the SS built the first ever standard rail gauge costing $1.059 billion in the north. Yet Buhari clan has the audacity to do these evil things. |
Rossikki:Figments of someone's imagination. Power as far as Nigeria is concerned is buying arms and ammunition and train its soldiers in a peculiar way to kill Nigerian citizens tired of asking for restructuring the polity, were refused, they then take to militancy and secessionist moves. Who said Nigeria of today shall exist by 2050? |
EvilMetahuman:Biafra agitation began before Buhari presidency, Biafra agitation started shortly after the masters of Yoruba, the Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri of far northern Nigeria started to adopt Islamic Sharia criminal codes. Remember, OBJ government imprisoned Uwazurike of MASSOB. Jonathan government imprisoned Biafra agitators who tried to take control of Enugu state govt house. So stop telling lies insinuating that agitation for Biafra started because Jonathan lost Power. Come out openly and state that you're clutching tightly to the sinking One Nigeria ship because the ship contains crude oil. |
Raji Fashola as governor of Lagos state replied Igbos asking for sixth state in the SE. Fashola replied that there was no need for any new state; he added that what Nigeria required was creation of new local government areas. Loooooool, great politician, Raji. |
A new state in the southeast? Lol. Mention it, the first to kick against it were the most "Shophischicated" tribesmen from the SW. They asked you: are you crazy to ask for more states while most of the existing 36 states are not viable, can't even pay workers salaries? Hollow argument of theirs. But they didn't know that they were equally shooting the entire southern region on the foot, because paucity of states in the SE amounts to inadequate political representation of the entire Southern region in Nigeria's political process. Abeg, no bring back yesterday's arguments. |
Kikikiki, New state in the Southeast zone to bury Biafra agitation? You never begin. How do you restructure the brains of religious extremists of far northern Nigeria to respect the sanctity of human lives, in their bid to intimidate others in order to dip their Holy Book in the non-Muslim eastern Nigeria side of the Atlantic Ocean? |
Rossikki:And you are not ashamed to write this? They have started to produce vehicles that need no fuel. Therefore, before long, you may have to drink that crude oil which holds a country one for parasites. No body told you that the richest countries on earth have no crude oil. No body told you that crude oil is not all there is for a country to survive on. No body told you that Tourism is the greatest foreign exchange earner for peaceful, tourism countries, after manufacture and Service businesses; but in Nigeria, the Boko Haram and herdsmen cultivated and used by the Nigerian group you seem to work for, have made Nigeria a most tourism-unfriendly country. Those you work for used unfriendly environment of Sharia criminal codes, and Boko Haram, which also fights for a country to be ruled with Islamic Sharia criminal codes, to chase away most Southern Nigerians from the vast lands of northern Nigeria; yet, because of crude oil in the Niger delta southern region, you still want to fight for continuation of failed Nigeria. Which country exists in the world where people from its southern region cannot comfortably decide to relocate to its northern region, except your One Nigeria? Abeg, waka pass with your crude oyel booty. |
Rossikki:When were you born? In 1967, when Biafra seceded from Nigeria, crude oil was not discoverd except in Oloibiri which was fetching like peanuts to Nigeria then. The killing mine - Sharia criminal codes in the north - beginning 1999 recharged the battery for Biafra agitation. Boko Haram violence that expelled southerners from north poured acid to agitation for Biafra. Fulani herdsmen and arrest of Nnamdi Kalu inflamed the agitation for Biafra. If what worries you is losing oil proceeds from the oil producing, non-Igbo areas in the SS if they eventually join Biafra, please accept them if they agree to remain with what shall be left of Nigeria without Biafra. No be by force ooo. |
newyorks:That sharing of a country with this people who have no respect for human life MUST end - and soon. Those easterners who talk about political restructuring, can you also restructure the heads of these religious extremists in northern Nigeria? No way. |
Like Hell Rufai like Adama Oshiomehole - mindless liars |
Kathmandu:Omenkalive? His farm in Agatu, Benue state has gone to the herdsman. |
OnankpaBa:A divided Army of Nigeria can't conquer even Dahomey. Janjaweeed section of Nigeria Army who specialize in shooting unarmed Biafrans must pay dearly in future. |
Realtouchnot:Wow!!! Wondering what Gov. Rochas and wife shall tell people when she campaigns for Senate Seat to represent Orlu zone. 1) Imo state university teaching hospital in Orlu - reduced to comatose state as Rochas refused to provide for accreditation of courses; refused to asphalt dilapidated hospital roads, owes arrears of salaries to workers; 2) Much-vaunted Mgbidi International Market - for where; 3) Urban Drainage project started by former governor Ikwechegh, and which could have also saved the Orlu-Akokwa road - not completed. 4) Orlu Regional Water Supply Scheme, the principal objective which made Orlu massively vote Rochas in 2011 - not started; 5) Roads in Orlu urban area excavated since 2012 abandoned; 6) Prince Hotel Orlu - foundation stone laid since 2012, that's all; 7) Sports Stadium project - abandoned; ( Road to Orlu Catholic Diocesan Church - in shambles;9) Most important road to have led to International Market - abandoned. Oh, they shall tell: we built the first-ever double lanes road with street lamp poles and school of Hygiene. |
olab059:Owerri Faj Capital of Nigeria? Young flesh concentrate in Owerri - close to 180,0000 from all govt higher academic institutions in Imo state STUPIDLY LOCATED in one Owerrri area. The town is going bananas with crime. Worse, Owerri landlords who make millions upon millions of Naira monthly from landed property ask for more. The present governor agrees with the landlords. Imo state outside Owerri knows little or no modernity from this govt. |
But is the Chinese man a mugu? Why would he withdraw N10m cash from a bank? In these days of POS and bank transfers everywhere? With a smartphone, in less than half the time he used to travel to the bank, the Chinaman could have paid all the money to the accounts of his clients. |
Leopantro:In Owerri. because everything in Imo is in Owerri; because of bad leadership of all governors of Imo state - except Mbakwe. |
Abacha is not Corrupt. Jonathan is corrupt. Let Jonathan enjoy the one Naija he struggled to uphold. Never seen something. |
Redhot111:But how many more years do we try on the same Nigeria experiment? Until crude oil finishes? |
GloriaNinja:One even even finds it hard to understand their tweets. |
Hounded from Pillar to Post - like a rat; Patience and Jonah. Abacha's wife enjoys. Anyhow, that's the one Nigeria she and her husband struggled dearly to retain while in office. They are enjoying the fanfare of TV lights. |
That's a good question before you invest in landed property in Nigeria. Try Orlu in Imo state; land is cheap here, but the city is very large and thickly populated, with propensity to become another industrial hub in the east after nearby Nnewi. |
AbuEzeFemi:Federal Fire Service is different from State Fire Service. Below is Imo State Fire Service Owerri, built by Okorocha govt. Anyhow, in Imo, some clan seriously believes that govt has no business doing anything outside the state capital: a drainage project in Orlu started by former Imo governor, Ikwechegh, the present governor was told that it is a federal project; he seems to have agreed. Imo state govt proposed regional water schemes for Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe. Owerri water scheme was built and utilized for almost two decades, the story for today's govt is that it is the responsibility of federal govt to build the same proposed water schemes in Orlu and complete that of Okigwe. Gov. Okorocha seems to have agreed.
|
Imo State Fire Station in Orlu under Okorocha govt. Orlu residents contribute to build their roads and drainage systems while the state governor builds 8 lane streets and road tunnels and underground drainage and flyovers elsewhere, because the elsewhere was pronounced state capital. How does one describe madness?
|
Orlu urban streets. How come a state governor builds 8 lane streets and fly overs and tunnels in one part of the state but leaves these streets in another part of the same state like they are five years now?
|
Orlu major streets.
|
Abagworo, Associating Orlu to Eastern Palm University in far away Ogboko, Ideato South LGA may create negative image for the university. This is Orlu rotting with dusty streets as abandoned by Okorocha govt. No pipe borne water, no road, you can hardly connect Point A to Point B in Orlu unless with Okada. A slight rain creates floods that keep people indoors. Okorocha vehemently refuses to complete Orlu's drainage system started by former governors. Okorocha is fighting a big war against Orlu. That university sef, e get as e be.
|
Emekamex:Lol, that cartoon of Buhari leading followers to hell fire means a lot. If Buhari paid for his treatment with his money, it may not be mandatory that he discloses how much he spent to the public. But if the treatment was paid from government's purse, the public must be told how much money spent. |
But Lagos has CCTV in many spots . Or are they dead - for decorations only? One or two of the cameras could have caught the men and the girl. |
Men that went out with her unidentified? When shall fingerprinting mechanisms and efficient police force ever be in Nigeria? In better countries, the men who went out with her must have been cooling off in police custody by now awaiting questions from rugged policemen. |
Road to IMSUTH Orlu from Owerri-Orlu road. Five years ago, the road was scrapped and deliberately abandoned like this till today.

Road to Orlu Catholic Diocesan Church - in shambles;
