alade112: Is like the Elders in the East are enjoying what this guy is doing, Well that's good. Don't be surprise if leaders from the north are also backing their youth. Ours is that anything that happen after Oct 1 is non of our biz, it's BTW the North and East.
Old and young in Biafraland want Biafra restored. Anyone that tells you otherwise is a liar.
It's better to have a country you are proud of than have a big country where it's lamentations from year to year.
Any Igbo who doesn't like restoration of Biafra is the selfish type who puts his landed property and business above a better future in a better country for his/her offspring.
5. We want restructuring but we don't want it under this government.
6. Igbos Oya take meat.
7. Nigeria haba na bone una give us.
8.ok! Give back the meat,
9. No! Small meat still dey there.
10.Wetin Una want gon gon?
Lol! Shea na only Northerners go sit for the conference? Mind you we can't afford to waste another money on restructuring dialogue. Gej national conference report is still there. This present government have already picked some of the report and put it into use.
Continue to fool yourself.
Igbo is sweet in your mouth to address.
What are you restructuring? Shall the heads of many haters and religious extremists in Nigeria be restructured also? Abeg, forget that political restructuring thing. Araba is it.
The foundation stone of Prince Hotel Orlu, laid by Uwajumogu six years ago still remains with no stone added - till today. The site is overtaken by weeds.
Appropriations were made in the Imo state budget for the hotel. Okigwe Princess Hotel? Where's it now? Orlu and Okigwe stadium?
What's the meaning of opening up Orlu? Abi the 3.5km total dual carriageways amount to "opening up Orlu"?
More than 90% of once motorable roads in Orlu are gone within the last years.
Una APC people in Imo state go continue with lies till 2019 May, 29. After that day, una go vomit all the money.
bezimo: How can you be an Asa lady from Rivers State and ndoki person from Abia...this looks fraudulent. Poster where do you come from...I strongly doubt if you are truly from Rivers, you are an Ipob youth..I hope you have not been misguided on the identity and position of the SS as regards the Biafra agitation.
There is the general belief of a Niger deltan been a South South person whose region is where the bulk of Nigeria revenue is generated so trying to logically explain that fact away may not necessarily change that established perception in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.
Victim of Divide and rule tactic?
If there are still any persons in the non-Igbo SS who don't understand that Biafra is aimed to first of all pull out the SS and SE from the abuses which both groups suffer from rest of Nigeria, that person is most badly educated, irredeemable victim of divide-and-conquer-and-rule tactic..
From Biafra, it is easiest for Niger delta or Ijaw or Ikwerre or Urhobo or Efik or Ibibio, etc., to get its own country, if they want, than getting resource control from Nigeria, talk less freedom from Nigeria.
The most important thing about one's country is being happy and proud of the country, not how rich or large or hugely populated one's country is.
Amarabae: Good Day All! Happy Sallah To My Muslim Friends! - If you go into the street of Nigeria and ask, who is a Niger Deltan? 95% of respondents will likely fail the question. The Reason for this write up is that some Peoples ignorantly love to use the phrase "IGBOS and NIGER DELTANS". Its wrong and an embarrasement to the intellectual mindset. - First, What is a Delta? A Delta is a Land area where a River spread into diverse tributuaries before emptying into an Ocean or Sea. - Niger Delta is the delta of River Nigeria. The USA has Mississippi Delta. The China has Yangtze Delta. The Egypt has Nile delta. And so on. - In Nigeria, How Is A Niger Deltan identified, lets examine it in three ways and then solve the Igbos and Niger Delta Question. - 1) Niger Delta as Oil Producing Areas?- If Niger Delta is classified by Oil Producing Areas, that mean Igbos, Yorubas, Ijaws, Urhobos etc are part of it. - Yorubas produce Oil in Ondo state. - Igbos have Oil producing areas in Ukwa areas of Abia, Egbema, Asa/Ndoki, Oguta, Ogbaru, Ndoni, Omuma, Etche etc. - So if it is classified by Oil producing areas, that means all ethnic groups in southern Nigeria are Niger Deltans. - 2) Niger Deltans As South South States?- This is the classification many use to define Niger Deltan. And they even Ignorantly think Igbos are not part of it. I am an Asa lady from Oyigbo LGA In Rivers state. I am proudly Igbo and Niger Deltan. Also the Ndokis, Ndoni, Etches, Egbemas etc are also Oil producing areas in South South and they are part of the Igbo Nation. Ikwerre, Ogba and Ekpeye may be a battleground of identity issue but they are of Igboid stock. So you see if we use South South as classification of Niger deltan, IGBOS are part and parcel of it. - 3) Niger Deltan By Virtue Of Geographical Location? If we go by this classification, that means Edo and Cross River people are not Niger deltans, because there is no delta of the River Niger in their location. If we go by this classification, that means IGBOS are fully part of the Niger Delta. - My Final submission is that trying to create Niger Delta without mentioning IGBOS is a big FRAUD. There are Igbos in the term "NIGER DELTA". Even the River Niger is a dermacation between two Igbo Cities Onitsha and Asaba. - The days of divide and conquer are fading away. I am an Asa/Ndoki person. Oyigbo is my LGA! Rivers is my state. IGBO is my ethnic nation. And Yes I am a Niger Deltan just like my fellow Igbos like Etches, Ndonis, Egbemas, Ogbarus, Ogutas, etc. Thank you all.
People who ignorantly talk Igbo and Niger delta are Divide-and-rule people from northern Nigeria and their Muslim Yoruba collaborators.
They also have their online agents they hire from the non-Igbo SS to create or sustain a great divide between the Igbo and non-Igbos in the SS so that Igbo and non-Igbo groups in the SE and SS can never have a common strong voice or power to repel the abuse and exploitation of both the Igbo and non-Igbo groups in the SE and SS.
The divide and conquer and rule and exploit and abuse method has worked for about fifty years to the benefit of the north and Yoruba.
ScotsReferendum: Nigerians are talking about the Hausa language Buhari addressed them with while you are here trying to distract Nigerians this early morning with this topic
Were you paid to distract Nigerians from the real issue at hand
Buhari must explain to Nigerians when did Hausa language become our lingual franca
Go to Britain and arrest Buhari for explanation na.
The Asa lady is here talking her mind, you are talking of Buhari of 97% and 5%;
you are talking of Buhari under whose command soldiers entered a Church and shot to death people praying in the church.
michoim: Fake IPoB news. A contingent of British soldiers just arrived Nigeria last week to train Nigerian soldiers. It was on Channels TV news, shown live.
You are content with a Nigeria army containing Janjaweeeeeds that open fire on unarmed civilians. And when they say you deserve the zoo for your country, but leave IPOBIANs alone to go in their own country, you refuse. How do you define a parasite?
Abagworo: Udenwa should have built a good teaching hospital with access road. Visit Eastern Palm University and see how things should be done.
IMSUTH is flanked by two federal roads in Orlu urban centre. Eastern Palm University Ogboko is in a remote village without any linking federal or state road, except the Orlu-Akokwa road that fails nearly every year. In your Akwa Ibom state, is it only one governor that starts building a huge project like university teaching hospital, and completes it? Clown, continue to entertain only yourself and few pigs like you.
Eastern Palm University, who owns it? Unless IMHA makes a law establishing it as Imo state property, it may end up Imo state's biggest zoo, if you don't know. For now, Okorocha is in power, he doesn't seem to understand the type of current flowing outside Douglas House.
UnknownT: Senator Hope Uzodinma, Orlu Sen. Zone. The only times I heard of him in the news were when he wanted to marry a second wife and also importing bags of rice,
For Rep. Jerry Alagboso, his own is worse, habent even heard anything whether good or controversial about him
when one thinks of Senator Hope Uzodinma representing Orlu;
and Rep. Alagboso representing Orlu,
one feels like asking: God what sins did Orlu commit in Imo state?
martyns303: I have seen all the previous comments and ignored them, because they lack merit. but your comment got me in disbelief, Igbos are the majority in Rivers State?
Wait, is it the Ikwerre people you are referring to as Igbos? Because all the governors you just mentioned are Ikwerre. Please don't let them hear it from your mouth, they will find it very very offensive.
Separate Ikwerre from Igbo, further divide Rivers people into tinier groups, so that Yorrober and Aboki shall colonise their resources forever, little or no resistance.
Humblesam: Now Duke get ready, you have been endorsed for 2019 presidential election. The campaign starts right here in the largest online arena of Africa. If the outcome favours you, then you are good to go come 2019. Now the voting begins......like if you think Dr Duke is good to go as a presidential candidate come 2019,share if you think otherwise. Goodluck.
Na so simplistic?
On the day of the party primaries, Arewa and Yorrober shall scheme Duke out.
They now call him Igbo.
Duke and Odili, both from SS, were the front runners on the PDP primaries campaign in 2007. A few days to primaries proper, OBJ with Arewa agents flushed both out, replaced them with late Yaradua who showed no interest in the contest before then.
Nigeria's ethno/religious bigotry in politics has even gone worse since then.
fratermathy: I thought you wanted to claim Urhobo now abi? You don change mind?
Secondly, it is our women that they are raping and that makes it URHOBO'S PROBLEMS, not the problem of the Igbos! How we solve our problems is no concern of yours. Just face your Biafra make we see road.
What intelligence?
You don't mind Janjaweeeds raping your Urhobo women, instead of Urhobo being together in Biafra.
Na who get anti-malarial tablets, abeg come give this Yorobat who has been suffering from acute malaria.
eluquenson: In this video, Chioma Amaryllis, who is a former PR Coordinator for Radio Biafra and ex-girlfriend to the founder of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, says that Radio Biafra is a fraud created by Kanu to extort money from the Igbo people. She said Kanu is in total control of the money coming into Radio Biafra and uses the money to sustain himself. “I am Chioma Amaryllis I live in the USA but I am from Mbaise in Imo State, a proud Igbo woman. I had a relationship with Nnamdi Kanu as he presented himself to me in the US as a single man. I hope that the point I am trying to make about Nnamdi Kanu will take precedence. I am telling the truth about Nnamdi Kanu & Radio Biafra as I saw it and closely witnessed”
Money was being collected by Nnamdi Kanu, huge money from genuine people & misappropriated,” she said.
Nnamdi Kanu collected huge donations to build a cenotaph for Ojukwu but never did. A lot of donations to Biafra went down the drain & I have a right to speak out because I contributed.”
Even racists wouldn't give a court order baring a person from appearing before the public.
It's like prison under bail.
Those sets of Nigerians giving Fulani the rope to hang all in Nigeria, beware, the hanging may reach your turn if we refuse to oppose Fulani excesses in Nigeria.
It's no offence to demand for a country from a Mother country.
modik: .....how many kings have visited PMB in Rondon?
Leaders are born not made.
Ol' Boy. You wicked, no be small, like Buhari sef.
Because Buhari said you must follow pay for the loan to be used to build modern rails between his NW and Yaribaland, then in future, you shall pay a concession man who will build your own standard rail lines?
Far north Nigeria has led Nigeria most of the time.
Differences in religion between predominantly Muslim far northern Nigeria people and, for example, people in Warri/Sapele/Ughelli area, account for why oil-rich Warri area is not developed to the level of Dubai, after fifty years of oil proceeds from Warri area.
Religious bias accounts for why the first standard gauge rail lines in Nigeria, worth $1.059 billion, could be built in northern Nigeria, before the oil-producing areas of the Niger delta, with Warri areas extending to Isoko, Urhobo and Itshekiri kingdoms.
There is hardly any Church in Urhobo, Itshekiri, Isoko, or in any Niger delta area, that has monetary value more than many of the Mosques in far northern Nigeria.
-- note: most of the states of far northern Nigeria have little internally-generated revenues, hardly enough to pay wages of Civil servants, talk less build expensive Mosques.
It's only a possible fool from the Nigerdelta, or an impostor claiming to be Urhobo here, who cannot see the above distortions in Nigeria's existence, see Nigeria as a false country, and plot a way out of the falsehood called Nigeria.
Of course, left alone, in a million years, it shall be next to impossible for the Urhobo, Itshekiri and Isoko to free themselves from the falsehood and distorted country Nigeria.
Therefore, a wiser Urhobo, Itshekiri, Isoko, or indeed, any non-Igbo group in the SS shall embrace Biafra as a way to escape the false and distorted Nigeria, after which even an Urhobo or Isoko or Itshekiri country becomes very easy to get from Biafra.
fratermathy: Actually, you are not in tune with the truth. Let me educate you:
1. Itsekiri is purely Yoruba (their ancestors are migrant fishermen from Ijebu, Ilaje and Ikale). Their monarchy is purely of Bini roots as well. In terms of values, they are more of Yoruba than anyone else in the South.
2. Urhobo/Isoko is Edoid (Edo and Yoruba have common worldviews). Urhobos were politically in the Western Region of Nigeria before we were granted our own Mid-West State. Some Urhobo clans such as Okpe trace their origin to Ife!
3. Urhobos/Isokos have settled in large numbers in the West and even up North but never in the East (ask yourself why). If you go to Ikale, Ilaje, Ife, Ijebu, Ilesha, etc, you'd find large swathes of Urhobos/Isokos. We even have some Urhobo language churches in some of these locations. Many of them have integrated with the Yorubas there because of shared cultural systems and worldview.
4. Urhobo/Isoko has been favoured more by Yorubas and even Hausas than by Igbos (who think only of themselves alone).
5. Yorubas are more at home in Urhoboland than anywhere else. This is vice-versa. We have the same culture of respect, accommodation, greeting, etc.
So in the event that we have to choose between Oodua and Biafra, you know where our chips will lie. So stop concocting falsities and spreading them. Urhobos are indifferent towards Igbos!
Odua Republic is next to impossible given that Yoruba is deeply divided between Muslim Yoruba and non-Muslim Yoruba groups
The Muslim Yoruba group leads Yoruba politically and looks forward to the descendants of Othman Dan Fodio in the north for directives, in fact, the Muslim Yoruba group may not even contemplate having another country without the descendants of Othman Dan Fodio.
Islamic Religion is opium to many Northern and SW Nigeria Muslims. Religion binds them together.
You can't tell anyone that the predominantly non-Muslim Isokos, Urhobos, and Itshekiris shall, in the face of current wave of Islamic expansionism in Nigeria, stick out their heads to embrace New Nigeria of predominantly Muslim north and SW of Nigeria without Biafra. No.
fratermathy: Actually, we are already treating it. Just because you sit at Ihiala and don't know what goes on at Abraka doesn't mean nothing is going on.
You can leave us be and face your Igboland now.
See how you answer to issues. Very empty vessel pushed around only by prejudice. You are most insincere and most delusional given the way you react to issues. Sorry for any of your followers.
fratermathy: Mr Man, leave us alone. If you get your own country and we flood as refugees, how is that your problem? GO and get your country first and stop the IFs. Why do you think what you just said is not vice versa?
Kindly do us a favour and leave us from your plans!! You can go and negotiate with Ibibio, Efik, Anaang, Oron, Ikwerre, Ijaw, etc. But leave us from it. We don't have anything in common with Igbo and we don't want Igbo domination. Take una wahala and go your way.
Common value systems amongst groups that make up a country is the bedrock of political stability, wealth and nationhood in such a country. With differing value systems as in Nigeria, peace, stability and nationhood are next to impossible for a country.
You must be most insincere to yourself if you state that the Urhobo, Isoko, Itshekiri share more common value systems with the Yoruba and northern Nigeria, than the Igbo.
Fact is: Urhobo, Itshekiri and Isoko share more common value systems with the Igbo.. Bros, don't let any unpleasant experience you must have had with any Igbo cloud your eyes. Don't let the false stories they told you at childhood that Igbos are cannibalistic deceive you.
fratermathy: Nothing is misleading about the title. That it was deliberately used to incure sensation doesn't mean it isn't true. IPOB DID PLEA THAT URHOBOS/ISOKOS OBSERVE THEIR SIT-AT-HOME!
Our herdsmen crisis has NOTHING to do with liberation. It is a criminal affair and will be treated as such. We are not slaves. If you are a slave, no problem but don't force that status on others.
Whoever has no control over his affairs and what surrounds him is like a slave
Igbo, the largest or second largest ethnic group in Nigeria cannot by any imagination of a sane mind be like enslaved in Nigeria or be associated with slavery.
If you want to debate about the thread you posted, come on. But if you go on tribal slurs like an unprepared person, you are an agent of continuation of the political status quo in Nigeria.
Your herdsmen crisis? When are you going to treat it?
Your crisis by Boko Haram induced by adoption of Sharia criminal codes in the north - when shall you treat it?
fratermathy: Exactly... So IPOB should leave Urhobo/Isoko and Itsekiri to fashion their future for themselves. No one appointed IPOB as their mouthpiece.
Are you not blighted by hate, therefore, impervious to truth? .What on earth do you think the Igbo shall exploit Urhobo, Itshekiri, Isoko for, if not that your so-hated IPOB understood that: 1; Achieving Igbo-only Biafra may have more obstacles if the non-Igbos in the SS are excluded.
2;, If Igbo-only Biafra is achieved, before long, you and other non-Igbos in the SS in Nigeria shall flood the same Biafra as refugees seeking asylum in Biafra, as you run away from Nigeria due to persecution of all sorts, including from Jihadists?
fratermathy: Nothing is wrong with the title. Titles are meant to draw attention to a thread. It is better for me if a lot of persons view this thread. If using titles that draw attention cuts it, then I'm game.
Secondly, the title is not wrong. Afterall, IPOB did plead that Urhobos should observe the May 30th sit-at-home as the quoted post indicated. As I remember, it was IPOB that championed this sit-at-home. Anyone asking another group to observe it is invariably echoing IPOB's decision.
It is better to always look beyond the nose to see the after-effects of any action one takes, for example, by posting this thread with a misleading title and very parochial contents.
Day in, Day out, cries come out from Delta state about herdsmen's exploits.
The exploits of Nigeria in Odi and Gbaramaturu, the various murderous military operations in the SS just for the sake of exploiting the SS.
Then comes opportunity that must bring these sad occurrences in the SS to a stop through first liberating your area via Biafra. But because perhaps you dislike Igbo people, you struggle to throw sway the chance.
Are you not like a man in a shit hole but refusing the helping hand trying to bring him out, just because he does not like the man?
fratermathy: I came across this laughable plea from IPOB online and as an Urhobo, I found it laughable and delusional. I'll express my sentiments under the post.
My issues with this delusional plea include:
1. The writer couldn't even spell Urhobo well. What he spelt was Uhrobo, not Urhobo. I have met several Igbos lash on others who dared to omit the "g" in Igbo and spelt as Ibo. The fact that someone or a group that supposedly means us well do not even know how to spell the name of our ethnicity is definitely laughable.
2. Urhobos/Isokos HAVE NEVER been a part of Biafra at any point. In 1967, Urhobo/Isokoland was in Nigeria's Mid-West State (previously in the Western Region) and anyone who knows the history of the war well enough knows that the Mid-West was never part of Ojukwu's short-lived Biafra. In fact, the Biafran troops massacred a lot of Mid-Westerners, including Urhobo/Isokos, when they invaded Benin (only Igbos were spared).
3. In the current resurgence for Biafra, Urhobo/Isokos have always maintained their stand. Our apex socio-cultural unions, UPU and IDU, have stated emphatically that we do not want Biafra. We are not Biafrans. We do not want to be Biafrans! This cannot be overemphasised. Apart from our apex groups, many of us have rejected the Biafran cause in the numerous Urhobo-Isoko groups on the social media.
4. Urhobo/Isokos have never been sympathetic to the Igbo cause in any way. In fact, quite the opposite, we have maintained our independence and tilted more towards the West. The average Urhobo man is more at home with a Yoruba than with an Igbo. This doesn't mean we hate Igbos but we simply have more sympathy with our Edoid/Yoruboid kins. This explains the presence of many itinerant and settler Urhobos in Yorubaland, as opposed to Igboland where Urhobo/Isokos hardly venture to. How then can we share a country with people we have no historical, political or cultural ties with? Any Urhobo/Isoko that may be sympathetic to the Biafran cause does so at the personal level and represents his own interest. The voice of Urhobo/Isoko collective interest has been made known already.
5. Urhobos WILL NOT sit at home and do nothing because IPOB asked us to or because Igbos are doing so. It will NEVER happen, today or anytime soon. Such a plea is useless and antithetical to the Biafran cause. Biafrans should aim for an Igboid country and leave Edoid/Yoruboid groups out of it. Urhobo/Isoko is Edoid. Itsekiri is Yoruboid. Even the Western Ijaws which have always been with us tilt more towards the West than anywhere else. How can you want so many dissimilar groups in your "utopia"? Won't it amount to creating another Nigeria when you "drag" uninterested groups to your cause?
I need not tell the writer, IPOB and any Igbo who cares to hear what the answer to this plea would be. The response is not farfetched. Ihwo r'Urhobo guoni Biafra a! Urhobo people are not Biafrans! We may be fed up with Nigeria but we can never leave the devil for the deep blue sea. Igbo is a majority ethnic group in Nigeria and as such contributes to the plights faced by minorities such as Urhobo/Isoko. The Igbo should not absolve itself from the "parasite" status! As far as minorities are concerned, all majority ethnic groups are a threat. Some are much more than some. In this case, Igbos have never done anything for Urhobo/Isokos to trust its motives. IPOB should stop adding us to its agenda or else it'll attract more insults to itself and the Igbo ethnicity. A word is enough for the wise!
Ihwo r'Urhobo v'Isoko, ke mavor owa mlo ota na vwa? Oshe phiyor? Biko vwa me ji tota kparemu me tare na!
Any sane fellow understands that liberation of Biafra from Nigeria is like breaking the chains holding black African nations forced together by foreigners into one in the most unstable countries of the world.
These forced African countries have been stunted, blighted, seen no peace, little growth, with millions of citizens lost in conflicts.
Isoko or Urhobo or Itshekiri, stop looking at the blackmail by those blokes from the SW and north clutching tightly to a sinking One Nigeria ship, just because the ship contains crude oil.
Asian nations similarly forced into one country quickly took note of the differences between them and separated shortly after independence.
There are many countries in the world less populated than Isoko or Urhobo and Itshekiri.
What counts is how happy one is with one's country, not how big or populated or rich one's country is.

Chai, who is begging you for Jees sake?
When Biafra leaves, you submit to the Sharia Republic of Nigeria to be controlled by Mullahs from the SW and North of Nigeria.
Igboesika: As for the sun, it shall definitely rise again.
All stupid unity beggars should go and commit suicide and join their master in hell.
Shameless idiots.
Worse, ask the stupid unity beggars from the south of Nigeria to go and settle in the north of Nigeria, they will not, because of fear of Boko Haram and unfriendly environment of Sharia criminal codes in the north.
So what is the need begging for unity in a country, Nigeria, where no one from the southern region can comfortably elect to relocate to settle in northern Nigeria?
