1stly Anambra minimum wage is 11,500 Naira while Imo is 20,000. 2ndly there wasn't and there still isn't commensurate increase in wages by grade level in Anambra civil service making the wage bill small compared with Imo. You can verify these facts. Peter Obi refused to key into the national salary structure insisting that Anambra couldn't afford it becauss he was a 2nd termer like Okorocha is at the moment.

As for rural roads you are right but priority defers and more importantly Okorocha has done more rural roads than all his predecessors combined but cannot be compared with Anambra that started with Ngige and Obi to Obiano. It's a gradual process and any truthful person will agree that he is trying. Who could have believed Orlu can be like this?

Continue with deceiving yourself with that 2013 photos of total of 3km road enlarged by Okorocha in Orlu, all channeled to lead to his Ideator home.

How Okorocha won 2nd Term 2015.

In 2015, Okorocha left too many uncompleted projects, mostly roads outside the state capital, and his 27 general hospitals.

So 2015 reelection, Imo people had no choice but reelect Okorocha for fear that if another person was elected, the Okorocha projects might not be completed; because Okorocha himself hardly completed any project of his predecessors.

But Okorocha wickedly leaves these roads uncompleted, but rather started to build inland roads, flyovers, tunnels, and most annoying, eight lane streets - all in the state capital.

As election campaigns draw near, Okorocha is now painting whitewash on that Orlu Stadium he destroyed. He is not replacing the Stadium seats.

He is also building a New Stadium in his university in his hometown. The New Stadium he embarked upon in Orlu has been abandoned.


This Okorocha man seems to believe that every body is blind except him.

Hear him: “I am in this job not for the profit of it but for the honour and glory of the job. So I want to leave a legacy. I want Imo people to miss me and they will definitely miss me. Believe you me they have not seen such developmental work before now and they will miss it.

“The only problem I have is that anybody that comes after me and does not perform will be stoned. Because you cannot come to Imo State now and say you want to abolish free education from primary to university, they will not accept. I have spoilt Imo people believe me.

“You cannot come to Imo State and say you want to give them a single lane road when they are now used to eight lane road in the city, they won’t accept it. You cannot come here and tell the children to go to schools where the floors are not tiled they will not accept because all the schools have been rebuilt. I have rebuilt 450 schools.”

Although most of the hospitals the administration started over three years ago were yet to be completed and have not taken off, the governor claimed that, “You can no longer take them to those ramshackle hospitals, those shanties they called hospitals because I have built 27 to 200 bed general hospitals. You can no longer tell them those stories. All the infrastructures are there.

“You cannot tell them that there are criminal activities any more and that your hands are tied they will not accept it because we know where we brought Imo from, from unsafe place to a safe place right now. And you can no longer tell our workers to dress shabbily they will not, they will want to dress in their suits and tie and white shirts. So Imo has changed believe me.”

Giving himself pass mark, he said, “I stand to be challenged and corrected by anybody that what we have done in Imo State in six years can be comparable to what any governor in that state living or dead has done.

“And if we put all of them together, I can’t say whether they can match what we have done. Have you seen me sounding boisterous? That is the truth. But the point is I don’t make media noise, I don’t make foundation laying stones Programme, I don’t bring women to dance because I want to lay foundation project. I don’t commission projects because for me it doesn’t make sense.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it is only the London doctors attending to President Muhammadu Buhari’s health will decide when the President will come back to Nigeria. The national chairman, however, refused to respond to the governor’s comment, saying he would do that at an appropriate time.

“If I respond, I will be dignifying him.

“At the appropriate time, people will answer him; at the appropriate level; at the appropriate time.

“He is in a different world altogether.’’

According to him, the party’s leadership has confidence in President Buhari.

He added that the meeting x-rayed the nation, ongoing agitation for its restructuring and inciting statements emanating from different parts of the country.

Odigie-Oyegun stressed that such inciting statements are not good “for the nation`s health and have to be stopped’’.

According to him, the party maintains its earlier position on the restructuring of the country as clearly stated in its manifesto.
