Cool, they have been love birds all the time - not brought together by money. |
B2mario:I am convinced that you have not been to that stadium before, judging from your comment. The new one seems to have been abandoned, work stopped on it long ago. |
Abagworo:IMSUTH is best located. It is half-way between two major roads; about 500meters between Old Owerri Road and Amaigbo road within Orlu urban town. When the road to IMSUTH was good, the institution worked perfectly well and the more than 200 beds always filled. The hospital's problems were deliberately created when in the last five years, Okorocha hatched his plans to have a soft-landing from Owerri for his private university in his hometown, and deliberately refused to repair the washed out road to IMSUTH, after he promised to dualize the road. He withheld workers' salaries for months, refused to fuel the gens, and darkness enveloped IMSUTH at night. FYI, Ariaria International market is not sited on Aba-Portharcourt Expressway or on Asa Road. The International market in Orlu booms, stalls nearly fully occupied. You can buy anything here, except humans. Why is Okorocha govt bent on removing Eke Owerri from Owerri City centre if you believe that International market Orlu should have been built in Orlu City Centre? |
B2mario:Not rumours. Please go to the link above for the kangaroo committee established for relocation. You are right. The Teaching Hospital got new structures built during Okorocha administration. It's unimaginable to many people that any person could contemplate relocating it to another place. But it's widely believed that Rochas Okorocha wanted to relocate IMSUTH to Owerri so that Owerri shall not be bothered when Rochas says his Rochas Foundation has fully bought Eastern Palm University in Ogboko, Okorocha's hometown. |
Orlu: Sam Okwaraji stadium demobilized in 2012 by this govt is now being re-roofed and repainted.

Government is made up by Executive, Legislature and Judiciary. Why don't some people in today's govt understand the above? Buhari's chosen officers need to understand how govt functions in a democracy, not during miitary rule. How can a common govt appointee ignore the Legislature made up of elected members? |

nkwuocha:also your problem, so long one Nigeria exists. if we agree and allow north have its sharia country, all these palavar shall be over immediately. |
link2ok22:Why? After all there is oyel money to compensate the victims, and to rebuild whatever damage by the fighters. After this, business as usual. |
Owerri: New roads/layouts to increase the population of the state capital If one or two of the new roads/layouts were built in Okigwe or Orlu, developers could have also followed. .

In 2016, for his personal business interest, Gov Okorocha set up a committee to see if the Imo state University Teaching Hospital Orlu can be relocated to Owerri. http://imostate.gov.ng/news/okorocha-inaugurates-amnesty-committee-on-repentant-militants-cancels-mou-between-host-communities-and-oil-companies/ |

NgeneUkwenu, Sure, only a few persons like you could devote a second to a thread like this. Who doesn't know a rented crowd when he/she sees one? |
Abagworo:But same Ihioma Road I showed on post #17 and called it the bright spot in Orlu, it is the same road in your second video. |
Road from St Joseph's Catholic Church via Bishop Shanahan College Orlu to Ideato South. The last two governments before this worked on the road, built gutters on both sides, built a new bridge over one smaller river, but could not do the bigger bridge over Urashi river in Ugbelle, Ideato South lga. The works done erode with time. Decaying Carrot Junction in Orlu.

Orlu: Road started by Okorocha govt in 2012 to connect to International Market from Amaigbo road opposite St Josephs Catholic Church, Umuna Junction. The international market has only one narrow road from Old Owerri road to enter it. Two lorries can hardly pass each other on the road. The market employs more than 8000 people and with daily human traffic of about 120,000. St Joseph's Catholic Church is submerged below normal level because of constant flood owing to non completion of urban drainage system started by Ikwechegh govt.
