Baalkanise a more than 1000 years emirate. Unusual. |
anonymous1759:Na your people who have problems, no be mine. Which group now runs riot because of hunger? Your people. Politics is all about having the masses contented not about having one big man from your tribe as president. Ewu success. |
fergie001:The brains of many Nigerians have been reset by lust for proceeds from crude oil in the Niger delta region. How could any normal person think that resort to the old national anthem can help solve the present conflicts and hunger in Nigeria? The NASS should be preoccupied with return of Nigeria to True and Fiscal federalism. |
What is in an anthem? Return to True and Fiscal federalism is what Nigeria needs. Bola Ahmed Tinubu crisscrossed the SW region for more than 15 years from 1999-2013 asking for political restructuring of Nigeria. What is President Tinubu waiting for before he convenes a People's National Conference to return True and Fiscal federalism to Nigeria? Sovereignty belongs to the people, not to elected politicians. Look at Venezuela 🇻🇪, look at Nigeria - crude oil and gas deposits is not all there is for a country to survive. Good governance system from a good political system is. |
9jatriot:You can use revenues from crude oil in the Niger delta region to build modern development infrastructures in Sambisa forest, sustain the infrastructures with proceeds from crude oil, but avoid building similar infrastructures in the Niger delta region, because you won the civil war against Biafra. That's not far different from what Nigeria has been doing since 1970. In saner climes, railway lines are built first in areas where they render quick profit; the profit gets used to multiply such railway lines in lesser endowed areas. If you don't do it that way; failure of the investment is waiting for you. The northern region, including Abuja, boasts that it's the poorest and least educated region in Nigeria. Kwontinue. |
Sannisege:Ha ha ha. NITEL died after Digital telephone exchanges were first built in tiny Arewa towns while Onitsha and Aba struggled with morribund Analog telephone exchanges ☎️ Thereafter, Nigeria resorted to use of the present toys called Mobile phone. Oyibo who invented mobile phone cannot touch mobile phone for communication if landline telephone is nearby. Your lot are the TRUE HATERS OF NIGERIA AND ITS PROGRESS. UNFORTUNATELY, YOUR LOT MAKE THE SOUND MINDED ONES DO THE RIGMAROLE WITH YOU IN ONE DYSFUNCTIONAL COUNTRY. Rail transport systems are most expensive to establish. They are first built in areas where the returns are quick to come. The returns are then invested in less profitable areas. |
MEEVEET:Evading building infrastructures firstly in areas they will yield returns has bled Nigeria dry. NITEL died after Digital telephone exchanges were first built in tiny Arewa towns while Onitsha and Aba struggled with morribund Analog telephone exchanges. ☎️? Thereafter, Nigeria resorted to use of the present toyshop called Mobile phone. Oyibo who invented mobile phone cannot touch mobile phone for communication if landline telephone is nearby. |
Two months free of charge? Anyway, Wike the Rivers man will foot the huge bill with proceeds from crude oil flowing from his oil producing Rivers state. |
Jagaban2012: Yeye still de smell. Aguiyi Ironsi did not destroy regional government system in Nigeria. He rather took some powers from the regional to the central government to preempt imminent disintegration of Nigeria then. Subsequently, Northern military dictators totally dismantled regional government system and progressively created today's suffocating unitary government system after proliferating too many and mostly non viable 19 states and Abuja in the old Northern region but created only 17 states in the two old southern regions. |
fergie001:However, given the current state of the PDP, it is clear that a single-handed effort will not suffice to win the election. Strong support and collaboration with other parties are required.” --Atiku. Watch out. Atiku who killed PDP may port to APC next for presidential ticket. Atiku contests every presidential election for the interest of ĥis Fulani in Nigeria. He will port again to APC - a Fulani interest political party. |
The wife and soldier are two sides of the same coin. |
anonymous1759:Do you mean lawless govt led by Agberos and drug trafficking barons, govts that give C of O to a developer but many years after, same govt declares the property illegal, or government that obeys the rule of law? The rest of the world head to the UK and the US to buy landed properties because rule of law obtains here. When is Dangote refineries to be demolished by Lagos State government? Kwontinue. |
anonymous1759:So after you sold something to someone, you still own what you have sold? Pity those non Yoruba people who invest in Lagos. |
yarimo:Why because: Arewa military dictators restructured Nigeria politically between 1967-1996 through creating 20 new federal units (states) in one northern region, but created only 17 new federal units in the two old southern regions. The fraudulent political structure automatically gives Arewa presidential candidates the capacity to win any presidential election. When Arewa is tired of ruling and ruining Nigeria, it passes the rulership to a selected person from the south. In a country formed by different regions, they don't use landmass or population figures to determine where new federal units can be created. There should have been more states in the two southern regions than in the one northern region. |
After Nigeria. a country restructured to enthrone inequality of citizens disintegrates, as should be. |
rtdCivilservant:love-vendor. Piimp. How is your pimping business in Owerri going? I was talking about development in your state outside your business area. |
Onyejerenima:Photos please. No fake ones. Some of us know every meter of the road. If Hope reconstructs that road now, and builds a big roundabout at Y-junction in place of the huge gate he demolished ... nicer. |
fastseo:Aba was taken over by a political party that means well for the public. Buhari's administration put the cities in the SE many years back. Okigwe and Orlu were taken 50 years back under Buhari administration through his hireling governor of Imo state and their unknown gunmen. Buhari visited Imo state more than any other state in Nigeria. Gov Uzodinma visited Buhari in Aso Rock more than any other governor in Nigeria did. But the more the visits by both men, the more the violence that engulfed Imo state. All the years of Buhari's visit to Imo state, this Ihialla to Orlu federal highway remained as it is.

Let Netanyahu back down. Palestinians cannot remain stateless and not constituting a nuisance to the State of Israel. A democratic State of Palestine may not elect the Islamic extremist Hamas to lead a Sovereign state of Palestine where Hamas will easily be caged by the West and the other moderate Arab countries. The way the Islamic Brotherhood party of Egypt is caged shall be the way Hamas shall be dealt with in a Sovereign state of Palestine. |
fergie001:Abure is the man who without dishing out lies like Liar Mohammed, took a newly formed political alliance to win a presidential election, though INEC Chairman denied him the honour. Abure needs to be carried along by all in the Labour Party. |
DeGods007:It will make a lot of differences. |
Very good. Very Very good, indeed. |
IjebuWarrior:Ewu. Go back to school and study. You will learn that the SE contains the highest quantity of natural gas in Africa. You have also been sharing revenues from crude oil in Igbo land all the years. Educated illiterate . Take up the challenge of declaring Oduduwa Republic so that you will save your territory from the Igbos. |
IjebuWarrior:Because Yoruba land is part of Nigeria. If you don't like Igbos to live in Yoruba land, declare Oduduwa Republic now. Lust for proceeds from crude oil and gas in Igbo land and rest of the SS region will not allow you support any declaration of Oduduwa Republic. |
State governors who want to build streets. Some states and street reconstruction, talk less build new streets, have been a thing for state capital. Since 1999, Imo state has been building state capital only. Successive Governors of the so-called most educated state don't seem to understand that modern infrastructures can also be built outside Owerri, the state capital. |
Justiceganduje:Wow. How is a live video like that an A1 generated video? |
Bestmanfornow:Gov CC. You are doing well. Hopefully, the next hall be the Ekwulobia-Orlu section of the Awka-Ekwulobia-Orlu-Owerri Road completely asphalted but a bridge across Urashi River not built before Buhari military take over of democratic government in Dec 1983. This is the shortest road to have connected Awka to Owerri as envisioned by the federal ministry of works then. Imo state govt has dualized and lighted the Owerri-Orlu section of this road. The unbuilt bridge on Urashi River is the reason the Ekwulobia-Orlu section of the road became unused and collapsed. |
gidgiddy:The Heleniuses of Nl are the people who the IPOB/ESN mention in the story were meant to please. Even the second commenter who displayed Biafra is on false propaganda. Criminals struck against police checkpoint in Enugu State, propagandists took to blackmail IPOB as a terrorist organisation. |
Kewtt:Mr Relevant, how far? See how your relevance in choice of apex political leadership of Nigeria is taking the country to bottom pit. |
Does Nyesom Wike understand the word democracy? Tufiakwa. How could a so-called university graduate, Wike, open mouth and say he chose his successor? |
Policy somersault is sign of unpreparedness of a government to govern. |
CodeTemplar:The checkpoints of every 500m they have kept for ages in the south east of Nigeria to police secessionist groups in the area because of crude oil. The checkpoints have literally crippled the economy of the engine room of production in Nigeria. What a country!! |
