stuffs2002:The same APC that hoisted the challenges on Nigeria is unarguably the patty you are going to vote for. What a clown driven by religious bigotry to continue to shoot himself on the feet!! |
Blazetrailer:Ha ha ha. Typical of the most shofistichiWretched tribe - dunce, scram, infantile - abuse opponent through multiple insulting epithets in a line when he sees he is losing an argument. |
There are predictions the Naira will go down to N2000 per US $1 before the end of this year. The Economic Reform policy of this administration on first days in office without advisers and ministers, is taking its toll on the value of the Naira against the US Dollar. |
Throwback:First time I read your comment laden with facts apart from your Britain and UK error. Most probably, you had US in mind but typed UK. |
Op take note: a few years back, Ghana 🇬🇭 removed some zeros from its Cedi. 6.Ghanaian Cedi (Ghana) Currency Name: CediCode: GHCCurrent Exchange Rate: $1 = GH₵ 13.89 A country's exchange rate to the US Dollar is not a true measure of the country's economic strength. |
Mccollins042:Good question. Only a nitwit would consult Google for answers to the question. |
Blazetrailer:Thousands of traders in Ariaria Market Aba studied Economics more than you. Go and ask questions. |
"but not even the most ruthless, unfeeling, sadistic, and misanthropic tyrant would openly advocate the mass pauperization of the people as an economic policy." ‐- Farook Kperogi. Sadists are multiplying in Nigeria's political leadership space; some grudge-ravaged state govs even wreck havoc in areas of their state, and tell the gullible ones that one terrorist organisation or the other was behind the havoc; with that falsehood they deny any economic or infrastructural development in such area of their state, and even dismantle or disactivate all govt establishments in the area. One area of a state in the SE zone have been visited since 2021 with this sadistic phenomenon. |
Oxymoron ![]() "reducing the purchasing power of a people, slowing down the economy, and then taxing the same people whose purchasing power has been reduced in a depressed economy. Why would anyone propose that as the anchor of his economic policy?" ----BAT. Bro Kperogi, did you not know that Bola Tinubu speaks in tongues? |
semc:This type of grammar - people doesn't - you will write for my company's logo if I send you a job? Young ones read what we write here. |
dre11:Job well done, students. If the randy lecturer was sent to the police, he would probably be discharged shortly after. |
ijustdey:Before the Generals retired they did not conquer Boko Haram, bandits and armed herdsmen after more than a decade of combat. Why? |
Good that this op first stated what AMVCA stands for. Good that Op might have read my complaint on the previous post on the subject where what AMVCA stands for was not explained first. |
flyinnizam:That's him the winner. A gov who in less than a year in office restored Aba to its prime economic status. The governor of neighbouring state said he was advised to reconstruct the urban roads of Owerri. The other two old cities in the state are going down the drain as Aba went down during the previous administrstions of Abia state. |
Rapmoney:Brave men went for the gunman. If it was in Nigeria, nobody would dare go near the gunman even if his gun jammed. The gunman would be watched until he repairs his jammed gun, and possibly shoot everyone nearby. |
Journalism gone awry. Op, you must first state to your readers what AMVCA stands for. |
Nchenches: |
@rtdCivilservant Your Oru is a stone throw from the so-called KO Mbaadiwe University in Ogboko. But today, there is no more motorable road to the university. IMSUTH in Orlu has been disactivated by gov Hope Uzodinma. He struggled more than any of his predecessors and got a federal university teaching hospital in Owerri. Like you, once those VCs of FUTO and IMSU and some of the so-called politicians of Orlu zone have a house in Owerri, their native hometowns and people in them in Orlu zone can go to blazes. So-called politicians from the so-called Orlu senatorial zone are rather fighting one another. Iberiberism. One is now most preoccupied with stripping Orlu Municipal LGA bare of any government establishments. |
Nemere2020:If Gov Otti leaking the so-called forensic documents to let Abians know what transpired when Ikpeazu was governor, so be it and for the good of Abians. What manner of State governor would allow Portharcourt road in Aba to be closed? Ikpeazu did. The decadence which Aba was abandoned to become by the govt of Ikpeazu is similar to what is going on now in Imo state's 2nd largest urban centre- Orlu. Who goes to lead a state and bears old grudges and grievances against a section of the state? |
Broveens42:@retdCivilservant Now see how true politicians from Okigwe senatorial zone are struggling to have a campus of FUTO in Okigwe. For years, the Vice Chancellors of FUTO and IMSU had been persons from Orlu senatorial zone. Because of land problems between FUTO and natives, as well as for distribution of govt institutions all over Imo state, all pleas to those VCs and to politicians from Orlu zone to approach the federal government to have a campus of FUTO in Orlu zone, fell on deaf ears. Most of Okigwe zone is a stone throw from Abia state university, and reaps the fruits of nearness to Abia State university in Uturu-Okigwe. |
rtdCivilservant:I am wiser than you, at least, of all persons. If clamouring for what my Orlu hometown deserves from govt is stupidity, I will be happy to be stupid before you from Awomamma, or before anybody else. People in Awomamma/Oru nation, as well as in nearby Orlu/Isu clan, are relocating to Owerri in droves because there is no state or federal institution or establishment to induce human and economic development in these two areas. Owerri zone is practically turning to one modern city because of the govt development institutions scattered all over Owerri zone where politicians understand the importance of government institutions to modern development. |
Abagworo:Security challenges? Have you before 2020 ever heard of Security challenges in this Orlu side of Igbo land? That's the part of Igbo land which had for ages been the most peaceful part of Igbo land. If you are not a very tricky fellow, obsessed with continuation of your insecurity challenges in the area to forestall government development works in the area, why couldn't you ask yourself how come your so-called Security challenges suddenly emerged in the area? By always magnifying your security challenges in the area, you leave no one in doubt about the possibility that your lot could be behind the insecurity. Insecurity in other parts of Nigeria has not hindered government from doing development projects in those areas. Government is there to either nip insecurity in the bud, or crush it. |
Abagworo:Job well done.. But what challenges did you have in mind? Has anyone challenged IMSG contractors anywhere? Or do you know any possible challengers? Why are all the posts of you Rochas Okorocha boy full of hidden bad intentions? |
Broveens42:Great. If the Amaraku Power station of Mbakwe was spared by that useless military gov then, the station should have become an additional power source to this. |
Chucks13:Mugu. They fought a civil war like it's a Jihad against Biafra. |
In the UK for example, you have to be accepted into the university if you're under 18. Your age and maturity will be considered as well as your academic achievements. There is also no upper limit anywhere, but again your acceptance would be based on your perceived ability to cope as an undergraduate. Nigeria Minister, please don't obstruct the chances of exceptionally brilliant kids to enter into the university as early as they can. The university is not a place to graduate to look only for government jobs. The forced NYSC is already a cut from the development cycle of Nigeria's youths. Don't carpet every child in Nigeria by use of the bogus term - federal government to make suppressive laws. Restructuring Nigerian politically will solve this problem of Nigerian groups drawing other groups backwards through hiding under bogus federal government. Did president Bola Tinubu vet this age limit law before hand? Not likely. |
tnerro1:When people say that Nigeria's a FRAUD.... |
abc115:Our federal government, this Orlu-Ihialla road in Imo-Anambra States is less than 25km but has remained terrible for many years. Please come and reconstruct the road, and possibly dualization. There's also Awka-Ekwulobia-Ideato-Orlu-Umuaka-Owerri road where a bridge not built across Orashi River made the Ekwulobia-Orlu section of the road unusable.
|
Both teaching hospital and FMC are cornered in one town - Owerri - in Imo state, whereas nothing of federal government exists outside Owerri in Imo state. Both are two big hospitals funded by the Federal allocations. But methinks, teaching hospital engages more in research and training, than FMC. Rest of Imo state outside Owerri need deliverance from the falsehood that every important government estaablishment in a state must be located in Owerri state capital. |
Supremos:If this police building were to be in one nearby local govt area in Imo state, the building would would have been bombed out or burnt down since late 2020 when the big man in Imo state set up the fracas as punishment for his old political foes in the local government area. All govt establishments in Orlu Municipal LGA have been either burnt down or bombed out since 2021. Investigators in future will discover who was responsible for the insecurity in Orlu and Orsu local govt areas of Imo state. |
If Lamido had visited Abia state (Aba to be prescise); or had any sympathy for Abia state ruled by Orji Uzo Kalu, before May 29, 2023; Lamido would not have this pity for Orji Uzor Kalu. Why do northern Nigerians share same comfort zone with Igbo politicians who indermine progress in Igbo land? |
nwadikeokey11:Owerri is hanging on a keg of gunpowder. How can Orlu and Okigwe zones return to the 18th century in Imo state because of past actions of people of Owerri zone in seizing all govt infrastructutes of devt? Even the oil producing areas of Imo state are starved to remain ultra rural status, ISOPADEC hqtrs was built in Owerri; while the 13% derivation is lavished on expansion of Owerri and builduing useless flyovers where they are not needed in Owerri, junctions where roundabouts or traffic lights are better needed than flyovers; knocing down the best urban drainage system of Owerri built by Mbakwe, start to build what they call balloon drainage system while floods carry people and homes in Orlu and elsewhere every rain season. And the govs tell thrnselves they are fighting unseen enemies of yesterday in some part of the state; therefore would not do any development outside Owerri. Bottomline, a mix of ignorant political leaders and greedy people of Owerri has set 80% land mass of Imo state either standstill or backward by decades. |
