It’s hard to understand what you wrote. You kept talking about illiterate people in Nigeria but half education you manifest is worse than being illiterate.
Is it only in Lekki that Nigeria’s armed forces started to shoot and massacre unarmed civilians? No. In the east of Nigeria, Nigeria armed forces of mostly northern Nigeria origin have been shooting and massacring unarmed civilians. So why would any educated person doubt that there was massacre in Lekki? It’s only a poorly educated person who would ignore the history of massacre of civilians by Nigeria armed forces. |

When we point out the hatred some sections of Nigeria manifest against one section, you say one promotes ethnic hatred. That means person like you is engrossed in promoting ethnic hatred against others. It’s a misnomer anywhere for armed policemen or soldiers to shoot unarmed civilians. In some developed European countries, policemen are not even allowed to bear arms in the presence of unarmed civilians, until terrorists started to emerge there. |

Good that she confirmed the death of Nathaniel Solomon’s brother at Lekki toll gate.
Let us even say that out of 14 dead/missing, that half are fictitious, the fact remains that some soldiers shot at unarmed protesters, prevented ambulances from accessing the place, doctored videos and cleaned up the place to cover up their mess.
For those still saying that there was no massacre at Lekki Toll Gate, there is no need arguing with you guys. No level of evidence will make you guys use your brain Even if one person was shot dead, that’s enough to stir uproar in saner countries. Fact remains that in saner countries, police or soldiers don’t point guns, talk less, shoot unarmed civilians. Nigeria armed forces personnel from northern region are always in Jihad mode once they are sent to the south, especially in the southeast region, to quell civil protests. |

https://leadership.ng/national-convention-apc-governors-to-meet-tomorrow-over-zoning-of-party-offices/ It’s clear that given Nigeria’s lopsided political structure created by northern military dictators, no presidential candidate from the south can win presidential election in Nigeria if the north supports a candidate from the north. That’s why rotation of the presidency between the north and south is necessary. It’s also clear that if the SW APC politicians don’t support APC presidential candidate from the east to succeed PMB, a northerner president-elect shall succeed PMB, because the SW can’t subscribe to rotation to make south produce a successor to PMB, but refuses rotation in the south to enable the east whose turn it is to produce a successor to PMB. |

Biafrarep: Trash!!!
The Hopeless man is now paying afonja guys to write fake stories for the gullible. This man is the worst thing that ever happened to Imo State. People said that Rochas built "China" roads and structures but at least he did something and widened the roads while establishing markets outside the city center which helped in opening up new areas. Rochas also allowed free education and renovated many schools across the state and opened up new areas with roads. But we felt he didn't do enough only for this Hopeless man to seize power and everything went under.
Almost all the roads in Owerri are now in terrible disrepair. I was forced to pack my car at home and started entering public transport because each day it rains, you will suffer untold hardship and may either get home at 12 midnight or you just park it at the road side and risk burglary. Mechanics are the biggest boys in Owerri now and cashing out as damaged cars are brought to them everyday.
The only thing this hopeless man has done since he forcefully took over is to destroy roundabouts and replace them with traffic lights while patching and painting the junctions!
We are counting days and praying for this locust phase to pass away. You talk TRASH. The topic is about IMSUTH getting affordable health facilities for the people of Imo state; while you are talking about Owerri and its roads. Have the MRI and CT Scan of IMSUTH been restored? That’s what one expected from a true citizen of Imo state to ask. FYI, one of the earliest pledges of Hope Uzodinma when he became governor was to restore efficiency of IMSUTH through recovering IMSUTH’s CT Scan and MRI machines dismantled by Okorocha government and used to build private hospitals in Owerri. |

presidency: JINXES BROKEN BY THE MUHAMMADU BUHARI ADMINISTRATION—PRESIDENCY
A giant-sized jinx was broken recently when the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) announced a first Net Profit in the 44-year history of the organization. Under President Muhammadu Buhari, who doubles as Minister for Petroleum Resources, the oil conglomerate announced a first-ever profit of N287 billion. Such had never happened before. But that was by no means the only major jinx broken in the lifetime of the Buhari administration. They abound. And here are just some of them. The list is by no means exhaustive:
Policies and legislation:
*Petroleum Industry Bill signed into law in 2021, after almost two decades in the works. It is aimed at reforming a Petroleum Act dating back to 1969, as well as other supplementary laws and regulations.
*Deep Offshore and Inland Basin (Production Sharing Contracts) Act, 2019, amended for the first time since 1993.
*More than 6 billion dollars of inherited Cash Call Arrears now being cleared by the Buhari Administration, since 2016. More than 3 billion dollars of the arrears (payments due to International Oil Companies) have since been paid.
*The Buhari Administration has overseen the first successful Marginal Fields Bid Round in almost 20 years.
*The Buhari Administration has launched the first National Social Investment Programme in the country’s history. Today it is the largest Social Investment Programme in Africa and one of the largest in the world.
*Restoration of the Federal Budget to a January-to-December cycle, after more than a decade.
*The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) was established in 2011, and for its first seven years did not have an enabling Act of the National Assembly — Until 2018 when President Buhari assented to the NCDC Act.
*Nigeria Police Act, 2020: The first overhaul of the Police Act since it was originally enacted in 1943
*Nigeria Correctional Service Act, 2019 - overhauled the existing Prisons Act, almost 50 years after it was first enacted.
*Finance Acts 2019 and 2020 - the first time ever that Federal Budgets are being accompanied by dedicated and specific reform legislation, to support implementation.
*Suppression of Piracy and Other Maritime Offences Bill (SPOMO), 2019: The first of its kind in the entire Gulf of Guinea, dedicated to prosecuting maritime offences.
*Police Trust Fund Act, 2019: First-ever legislation dedicated to addressing the financing of the Police Force
*CAMA, 2020 - the first overhaul of the Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) in 30 years.
*Discrimination Against Persons With Disabilities (Prohibition) Act, 2018: Another unprecedented piece of legislation in Nigeria
*Treasury Single Account (TSA) started in 2012, expanded across the entire Government by President Buhari Projects *Itakpe-Warri Rail Line, started in 1987, abandoned for decades, and finally completed in 2020
*Completion of four standard gauge railway projects between 2016 and 2021: Abuja-Kaduna Rail Line, Abuja Metro Line, Itakpe-Warri Rail Line and Lagos-Ibadan Rail Line.
*President Buhari is the first President to start and complete a rail project in Nigeria’s history (Lagos-Ibadan Rail).
*The last NLNG Train project (Train 6) was completed in 2008. President Buhari has successfully flagged off Train 7 construction.
*Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki Expressway, undergoing full reconstruction for the first time since it was constructed in the late 1970s.
*Bodo-Bonny Bridges and Road: Construction finally kicked off in 2017, after several decades of planning, and three false starts.
*The long-awaited Ogoni Clean-Up kicked off under the Buhari Administration.
*The Nigerian Navy has this year (2021) acquired its first new Landing Ship Tank (LST) in more than 40 years.
*The Nigerian Air Force has enjoyed the largest investment in fleet renewal in decades, under President Buhari, acquiring more than two-dozen new aircraft since 2016.
*Construction of the first full-scale private refinery and the first privately financed Deep Sea Port in Nigeria’s history both started under President Buhari’s watch.
*Only one Modular Refinery in the country pre-2016. Since 2018, there have been several either under construction or already completed.
*Maritime University, Delta State, licensed by the NUC and operationalized in 2018
*Completion, since 2016, of twelve (12) inherited Dam projects across the country: Kashimbila Multipurpose Dam, Taraba; Ogwashi-Uku Multipurpose Dam, Delta; Adada Dam, Enugu; Sulma Earth Dam, Katsina; Gimi Earth Dam, Kaduna; Amla-Otukpo Dam, Benue; Amauzari Earth Dam, Imo; Ibiono-Ibom Earth Dam, Akwa Ibom; Gadau/Lafia Zigau Dam, Bauchi; Alajue Small Earth Dam, Osun; Kampe Omi Dam, Kogi (Rehabilitation) and Kargo Dam, Kaduna (Rehabilitation)

I sorry for them because more MNK and Igboho will soon arise from other regions. Nigeria is already hopeless as it is.
State creation is a scam. Let us go back to the regional system. Even if you create more states, you've only created more nuisance, more idiots waiting for Aso rock to send allocation to run their states. Monies that will mostly be diverted to personal pockets. Monies that Aso Rock borrowed o. In the end no industries, no job and our national debt doubled.
Who caused the black man? In bolde. People in areas feeling comfortable in their present states will not agree to return to regional government system. For example, tell Abakaliki or Owerri man to vote for return to regional government system with Enugu as capital, he will tell you - Never. The same shall obtain in the SW region where people clamor more for return to regional government system. Your fears about possible misuse of creation of new states to create more states in the north is in order. I think the 2014 CONFAB recommendations on new states are here. |

eldoradoxx: I fully endorse the creation of several more States to close up a lot of ungoverned spaces in Nigeria. Take for instance, Kogi State, I don't know why Igala land cannot be a State with their own Governor , same for Ebira and Okun. Kaduna is naturally divided into two, why not Gurara State for Southern Kaduna Christians they own Kaduna city, while Zaria becomes capital of Kaduna for the predominantly Muslim Northern Kaduna. In Delta, why can't the Delta Igbos have their own Anioma State and included as a State in the South East with their ibo brothers while Warri becomes the Capital of Urohbo, Isoko, Ijaw brother as Delta State. In Enugu why not give the Nsukka people Adada State while the Nkanus and their close brothers Wawa's share the remaining Enugu with the capital where it is today. Why can't Benin become the State for Binis run by only Binis while Affemai and his brother Esan get their own state with capital in let's say Ekpoma or Auchi. TIV's need to have their State with capital at Gboko, while the rest take remaining with Markudi as Capital. State creation brings rapid development. People who lived in Asaba, Ado Ekiti, Osogbo, Abakalii, Gusua, Lafia etc would remember how under developed their cities were until God used IBB/Abacha to make it Capital of their new State. state creation opens up new cities and new opportunities, new schools, new businesses. 36 States is too small for 200 million people. American has 50 States all surviving on their own with the industry of the people. Bolded is supported by reasonable people in Nigeria. Anything to make Orlu area out of present Imo state is highly welcome. Because Orlu area opened the demand (Njaba state) for new states in the southeast before the NASS in 2005, Orlu area has been denied everything development by rest of Imo state, with anticipation for a new state that will carve out Orlu (Imo West Senatorial district) area from present Imo state. Everything in Imo state is in Owerri state capital where people from the area covet every government development infrastructure. |
