^^^ Bros, have not picked any yet at all.
I don't really have any problem doing the interior as I believe it is going to be an easy task.
But for the exterior, I have a whole lot of problem to deal with!!!!
I have not picked any color for it because I want to take my time. . . .
The house is going to be very colorful.
It will take atleast 4 to 5 colors. I want it to be unique but I don't want to play with contradicting colors.
The down of the house will have its own color(under the skirting) the up of the house will use another color(above the skirting)
The skirting and the window design will share a color. The gutter roof will use same color with the place below the skirting
which the edge design will share a color with the pillars.

Then the turkey I installed @ 3k
This installation includes the handle.
Also for the china doors, even the 4ft door I have was
installed for same amount!!!!

Mine cost quite alot because the brand is towers aluminium(second most expensive in Naija and is very durable).

But you can go with the normal one
the difference is not too much(if you can do a better pricing)
I think around 2k to 3k difference on each!!!!!!

@Am Alone. I have noticed that some non-sliding aluminum windows that i have been seeing outside have a hook outside but your do not have it and yet yours is non-sliding. I had always thought that the outside hook is needed to hang the window. Please can you throw more light on this.

Yes Bros. You are right. My non sliding window AKA casement window have it own hook/hinges but it is hidden so that you can't see it from the outside and from the inside as well. . . .

You know that window cost quite a some of money - lol!!!!!!!

From what I saw, the beam/lintel that links to the pillar two standing pillar is below the "house-lintel" level.
But the one on the round pillar is okay as it is on same height!!!!!

But me thinks it the design. But if it a mistake please ask the to correct it as it "may" not add beauty to the house
and may look unprofessional to many!!!

I want to share these toilette fittings i got from one of the hotels i used recently in Naija.
I just love the quality and smoothness of the whole works
Tried to get the mgt on the price and other info but the guy wasn't sure.

That sink is actually solid glass with ceramic materials embedded inside

Man, I saw one as well in one hotel I lodged.

Lovely toilet if you ask me!!!!
Then another hotel,
The plate they use to serve my meal was so fine and so unique
that when I went to the Island 3days ago, I could help but look all over for it
Bad new was that I couldn't find it!!!!

Bros, that my window is very expensive because of the materials used(which you can see for yourself).

Reason because it was towers aluminium(most people will tell you they will fix towers aluminium window for you but at the end of the day, it will be the imported ones that they will use. Because they know you can't tell the difference!)

Again casement windows are very expensive compared to sliding.

I spent around 360k to fix all my 15window @ around 23k per one for the 4ft and 25 for the 5ft respectively.

But sliding window goes for nothing less than 10k per one.
Because that was what I used for the security house.

Again the money includes all the accessories and installation and transport fess!!!

So Ganny1, Anyone goes. You can do you plastering before it or do it before your plastering.

Most people do it before plastering but I did mine after plastering.

Again the POP number I gave you is for Interior POP. But you can still contact that same person for the exterior POP work!!!!

Are we clear?

Yesterday I went to Balogun Market to get my electrical fittings(was stressful considering the distance from Ikorodu to Island)

Total cost around 140k

I didn't buy any Chandelier
Though i plan to go back and buy one for the entrance and another for the kitchen.

Please note I don't really want to spend much on the electrical fittings.
But I want thing that are unique/not-common especially for my sitting room

For the one gang switch I bought it  #1100
for the 2 gang i bough it #1300
for the 3 gang I bought it #1600
Water heater switch #2500
Cooker switch #3k

Then for the rooms I just one that is okay
it goes for 300 for the 1 way switch(not our regular white one though)
500 for the 2 way switch.

Then for the exterior wall lamp/light - 800 for the nice one
500 for the normal one(both black)

Then for the door wall lamp  3k per one

For the POP spot light
I bought it 500 per one and the light 240 per one(energy saver) for the rooms.
But for the lobby i bough 4 @ 3k per one
then for the sitting room, I bought it for 1k per one including the ligh
And more I must have forgotten about for now

the ones I circle are the once I bought for the sitting room - don't worry you will like it when I install them

Okay!!! Lets just wait and see!!!!
Also, note that if you are building on a water log ground,
you decking needs an extra enforcement. Mostly 16mm iron rod will be used.

Again, I am not taking sides with him or you. I believe I ill have to see the pictures before I can comment.

There is absolutely nothing to worry about.
Jus make sure it is installed properly.
Furthermore, please make sure the installer test that the door opens
and closes well(without any extra efforts). And if it had anyproblems after
installation, it should be worked on. Please don't allow any id.i.ot to hit the door
with hammer in the name of trying to make it fit. Except you want to buy a new one!!!!
