Hello guys. Please need your input, is it possible that the 3 routine drugs given to me at the hospital every two weeks will make MS severe? For more than a week now, i only took my folic acid because i did not remember where the routine drugs were. During these days, i felt wonderful, my MS reduced drastically, yesterday i went for my appointment and was given another set of routine drugs and since morning i have been having increase MS. Can i just stop the routine drugs and take pregnacare because when i take it i dont have crazy MS.

Hello ma'am ,pls settle with pregnacare if your doctor is OK with it,that is exactly what I've been doing for the past 5mths and I have no issue swallowing it compared to when I was taking routine drugs.

Lost my DS this morning, 16weeks and 4 days. Been admitted in the hospital since Saturday after continuous pain all through the night. Doc suspecting fibroid degeneration as that was what they were treating for. Looking back now, I guess all the constant pains were red flags . Signing out, team July

I can relate dear,the pain fibroid patient go through during pregnancy and all,may the lord bless you with double that will stay till the day of delivery soonest.Pls try and see a gynaecologist so you can get the best treatment and precautions before and during your next pregnancy.God be with you and your family sis.

Now that malaria and cough is gone,pls i need natural ways to cure catarrh and sore throat,amoxil and vit c seems not to be working.

It was so bad here too before I discovered Gecrol, it's just like gestid, only thicker. I just take a teaspoon after eating anything at all, and the heartburns became milder than before. In fact, I can now go a day or two without heartburn, unlike before

He never explained,i guess they have their reasons for increasing the dosage at that particular time.

Hello mamas, pls i am curious about the dosage for fesolate(ferrous/iron tablets). In my first trimester, my gynae prescribed one tablet a day. I had red degeneration of fibroid pains which led to admission at 21 weeks, and the dosage was bumped up to 2 tablets, 2 times daily. Now, at my last antenatal visit, it was brought down to 1 tablet a day. This has gotten me worried, has anyone been given the 4 tablets a day dosage before?

I was admitted with this same issue recently,was given 2 tab of ferrous twice daily too.

The good thing about this honeymoon phase is that MS is gone and the fact that i now feel tiny kicks makes the whole thing feels so real.

For the milk part I can say it’s true. I hate drugs with passion. I rather take injections than drugs but this particular one demanded I take it orally. So I would use a glass of milk to washed the bitter drug down.

Time for checkup came and my doctor couldn’t detect any significant improvement. He asked me if I took the complete dosage cos he knows how much I hated drugs.

I replied with a half smile that yes I did, with a glass of milk.

He said no wonder!!! And put me on another round of antibiotics

He said I should use plain water only and never use milk, it interferes with some certain drugs .Gosh I hate drugs and the damn smell.

Wait until you get pregnant

Prenatal drugs you've got to take every single day and you keep hearing talks like "your baby needs those drugs to develop"

Guilty conscience wont allow you sleep every single night until you swallow the drugs

I am a FTM,i was discharged from the hospital yesterday after receiving treatment for malaria and excess vomiting.During my stay i was giving artemeter inj,promethazine,pcm inj,pcm tab and some drips.

PCM tab is part of the drugs given to me while leaving d hospital yesterday,is it safe for me to take it 3times daily as prescribed cos i am feeling serious headache as i type?

I am 10weeks gone.pls help a sister.
