It is no wonder that we have tremendous amount of people who don't believe in God's existence. Yet we live in a world with quite a no of faithful believers with who have encountered the true God in their closet of which i am not exempted.

Describing the encounter might not be easy cos the things one experiences in the spiritual world are most of the time too strong for words to describe.

Needless to say that the gospel of Christ Jesus is the most important and sweetest message on the planet earth.

Though the account might be arcane, sophistries of the agnostics and atheists may argue its veracity by casting aspersions on those who believe it, judging them to be gullible and tagging them to be too credulous to believe the so called cooked up or fabricated stories of the ancient idle carvers and farmers.

In the real sense, those who don't believe are the gullible ones who willfully yield themselves to the god of this world(Satan) , Satan in his own infinite hatred, finite wisdom and limited power blinds the unbelievers' mind, preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image and likeness of God. ( 2nd Corinthians 4:4)
Anyways, 1 Corinthian 18 affirms that for those who perish, the preaching of the word is foolishness; but for those who are saved, it is power of God.

Verse 21 tells us that God(in his infinite wisdom) is pleased with the foolishness of the preaching to save those whose who believe.
This act of gospel may sound foolish,it is the way God intended to save you.


What cud bring you under the illusion that there is no God when the whole universe is full of His glory, signs and wonders of the creation , immutability of His counsel and prophecies, when the whole world is full of countless unquestionable pieces of evidence that there is a super natural cause and a supreme being who began the beginning before the beginner began Who was, who is, and who is coming in the fullness of time (2nd peter 3.9.9 Rev 22.12)

The living God in His infinite and unconditional love unlimited power is calling on you today to acknowledge Him into you life.
he is pleased to welcome you into His joyous family in Heaven while you are still on earth.
He is calling you to put off your old sinful nature and share in His nature

Calling you to cast all your worries,cares and anxieties on Him

UI did admit 2nd choice medical aspirants in the previous years if dey beat the cutoff points. From all indication, no preferential treament was given to the 1st choice over the 2nd choice applicants after being shorlisted for putme.

But this year, medicine 2nd choice aspirants are still anticipating for the same treatment. I'd rather u kept a tab on dis year's process.

Taking OAU as 2nd 4 MBBS shud nt cross ur mind at all. UNILORIN also admits 2nd choice for medicine.

Eventually, if u are cleared during d clearance, what abt d chances of having d required grades in each subject ur b4 pd ends? Going 4 d waec and clearing all ur papers will be preferrable.

Anyway, a guy on NL did it and scaled tru d admission hurdles. He is now studying medicine, but, i must confess it's arduously taxing.


Registration for Unilorin's rem is ongoing, Unilag foundational prog(expensive) is also reco. Others are dat of state univs pd prog.

B4 i go on with d last point. I am not suggesting in anyway dat predites shud deprive demselves of fun or turn to book nerd cos of JAMB. Nevertheless, the CHIEF FUN IS ON OAU MAIN CAMPUS.

I.e SUCCESS SOMETIMES IS STOCHASTIC. I av adequately prepared 4 some exams still went on to fumble(not extreme) even in pd which is still an internal exam let alone jamb which is an external one. Thank God for His faithfulness, I was compensated "sha" @ d end of d prog which rendered my indebtedness to God ineffable.
That is y God must not be left out in everything we do in life. Some have beaten dia departmental cutoff in pd but jamb served as a barrier. Thank God 4 His grace. Hrd predites with scores lesser than 180 last section were asked to forward dia names with lil amount(Unprecedented in CDL). I think that is God for predites who prepared wholeheartedly 4 jamb but d unpredictable caught up with dem last session. I had of a guy in 2011/2012 set who had 80% in pd but jamb withheld his physics result which made him had 170+ in jamb. With dis kind of ordeal, i am not sure wheda he made it at last to oau.Pls, pd is a programme u pray as if reading does not work and read as if prayer is not effective.
The unpredictable can not be predicted but i personally bliv it can be diverted if persistent and fervent prayer is offered to the almighty God.

4. Spending time unwisely:
Some predites go for unnecessary tour(travelling home for trivial stuffs, etc) and some love to gallivant around oau main campus beholding the beaty of d citadel. Dis i deem very imprudent and impolitic on dia part. Some feel @ school 4getting dat jamb is still a barrier which make dem resort to unproductive activities like playing games, wooing d opposite sex predites.
Also, when it's time for xmas, new year or easter holiday, some 4get their status as a predegree student. 4getting dat jamb is still a barrier and impediment if not meticulously prepared for.
Pls, spend ur holidays with jamb questions,lamlads,one time success on ur dinning table. A xmas and new year with nothing to read is waiting after d end of d pd programme. D best postjamb student who was my roomate didnt go for d xmas and new year holiday. I bliv he sensed some impending distractions @ home. Spending ur time wisely and prudently will help u gain ground in ur JAMB exam

3. Over confidence:
Some predites live with d school of thought dat having a very good contact score shud be dia main focus,target and goal. Some wud even say, all i need is 180+, if I have 180 in jamb and 82 in pd, my medicine is still intact. Yes, it's of course intact but ve u got nothing to flaunt abt den? With dis, dey tend to face pd squarely, shunning jamb past questions.
Pls avoid dis, some predites had more dan 60% and 70% last session and didnt cross 180. Don't know whether dey took chances. Though, all is aware of d marking system adopted last year dat didn't favour pptites. Dat does not render dis invalid dat I have friends dat had more dan 240s in d ppt jamb exam.
Pls, don't prioritize pd over jamb. Rather give dem equal attention and consideration. Is it not worth it to get admission through postjamb which is feasible with a gud jamb score?

2. Negligence on part of predites to do some extensive reading. For instance,many predites dat offer biology don't know anything outside dia bio note. This is because of verbatim questions bio lecturers ask from notes. For the fact dat jamb can ask question from any angle in her syllabus, predites tend to fumble when asked questions dey are not taught in predegree. E.g biology syllabus used by pd lecturers as @ last year didnt cover reproductive system, flowers, to mention but a few. We were taught fruit and essential topics(Jamb favourites) in bio when 2nd contact was @ d verge of ending.
I suggest incoming predites do extensive reading, i read my bio note along with my bio testbuk cos of jamb. But pls don't do over sabi sha. Also, don't be a note addict. Consult recommended testbuks for jamb while in pd. With this coupled with ur pd notes and smashing lectures. Jamb will be a pie.

Penboy: Is it true that people who do pd dont really do well in jamb? *though i know of some predite who didnt even get the 200 cut off mark*

50%(inprecise) of predites this didnt cross 200 in jamb dis year. 2012/2013 expredites can attest to dis cos all jamb scores of each predite were pasted on d board. That was y many wia not qualified for putme. The highest is 297 followed by 294,292,285,282 et all(all cbts). The highest ppt score i had a gander at in pd was 266.
From an impressionistic point of view. I opine that what leads to abysmal failure of predites in jamb are
1.d inability to complete the jamb syllabus as a result of early date 4 jamb. Predites re versed in 1st contact topics but when it comes to 2nd contact yet to be touched topics(which i bliv amounts to abt 50% of jamb question), most have little or no prequisite exposure to dem. If jamb exam can only be shifted to a day after 2nd contact, dia is a harbinger for jamb to be @ her knee cos "serious" predites will embarass her with breathtaking jamb scores. Thatz y it's always advisable for incoming predites to acquaint demselves with all topics b4 leaving 4 pd. It gives u an edge.

Adedeji Samson: ur intruding is welcomed since it gonna yield a positive result, lady. I didn't write the exam but looking forward to obtain the form for 2014/2015. Gonna nid informations on wat i suld b expecting 4rm d begining to the end. MUCH LOVE!

Frankly, can u tell me y it is worth waiting for another PD acadamic session? That is a 12 month, the duration of the programme is also exclusive(9 months) let alone the myriads of months one will have to stay after the d pd programme(8 months+) pending the resumption for undergraduate admission.

I don't think it is worth waiting for. There are oda nice predegree or remedial programmes out dia that u can go for dis very year. I can recommend them if u want dem. And if oau is ur desired univ, u can choose her in jamb irrespective of the pd skul u enroll for this year.

Guys dat make good grades in pd are those that are prepared for it b4 d programme commences.

You must love and jack lamlads by force. It is the commonest buk every predite uses for jamb,pd and postjamb. I think I was almost through with lamlad b4 i left for it and it really helped me. Invisible teacher is also rattling and smashing to bring 30% english syllabus in pd and 80% english syllabus in jamb to ur knees.

I personally don't think that is practicable. In sense that for a skul like UI to rlis her cutoff, she wud have compiled(may be jumbled one) the names and courses of those that made d merit for each department.
So it's like asking dat with zoology admission @ hand, can't I change my course/dept on the merit list cos my score and my course are terrifically not compatible in the +ve sense.
It is logical to think that way but it will be illogical for UI to do it that way. UI's question will be when u don't like a course, y do u choose it at first.
