Can't really tell. I opine dat since d management called them for the admi exercise, they will be considered in the 2nd/supp list but i doubt her admitting them for competitive courses like law,engineering, med et all.
I know of someone who didnt choose fuoye in jamb and was admitted cos of his gud grades

I chose OAU 1st choice and UI 2nd choice this year. This is cos UI considers 2nd choice candidates for competitive courses like medicine once you are shortlisted. Oau does not admit 2nd choice candidates for medicine(or shud i say hardly admits). I av a friend who had 292 in jamb dis year and 301 in postjamb but chose oau as 2nd choice(cutoff is 270.5).. He is yet to be admitted but he is still hoping for next list. He chose UI as 1st choice sha.
Another close friend of mine dat had 294 in jamb didnt attempt to write oau postutme cos he told me dat it might be a waste of money to choose med as 2nd choice in oau(UI is also is 1st choice tho).
Gud luck. I'd rather u chose OAU 1st and UI 2nd but pray fervently b4 making any decision bro.

I don't like a skul dat does not set the same subject combination as in the same comb one does in jamb. Unilorin does dat. My opinion tho
Abt UI, she changes her method of admission anytime. No one is certain wheda olevel and/or jamb wud be used even dis year. It's a very gud option sha.
Abt oau, jamb quota for medicine is abt 80 while pd quota is 20 so i c no rcn y ur bro didnt recommend oau for u. Though, itz a fact dat predites do av upper hands but many jambites dat give their best also majestically merit the mbbs. So read as if reading does not work and pray as if prayer does not work bro. U will make it to the course and skul of ur choice IJN. Amen.

Oga, u need to calm down. Pls, be mindful of your words.Being an akokite does not make u beta dan an eksuite. Too demeaning to utter dat gibberish. That u applied 4 admission last year and wasnt admitted with 41.5 was quite pathetic. But did u know dat minimum cutoff was 50% last year. Admission racketeering ish has been checked. That was y d admitted ones were pasted 2geda with their scores on the rlised admission list.
I neva dreamt of eksu until i landed dia last year. Mind, Eksu is one of d best state univs in Nigeria. A state skul with virtually all professional courses and quality lecturers(respected profs and drs), best medical library in the whole nation is more dan a skul but a tremendous citadel. Every skul has her own stigmatising issues dat negatively taint her image.
The issues in eksu are reversible and @ d edge of a lasting solution with our visionary VC. Issues like slow acadamic calendar, exorbitant fees and non residential hostels wil be painstainkingly addressed asap.
Incoming eksuites shud remember eksu in prayer.
Security of students life has been d VC's pressing mandate and since my little stay in eksu, i av not been harrassed by cultist(dey may exist) despite numerous nite walk after reading on campus on my way back to d hostel.
The Vc is working tirelessly to get rid of diabolical acts. 6 lecturers and abt 15000 students have been relieved of their job nd status recently.

Though, I av applied and been admitted into the VC's alma mata to start mbbs afresh due to high skul fee and high cost of living in eksu... I still a remain a rugged nd loyal eksu medic.

The guys that win the nobel laureate in medicine are not usually the basic physicians we know, some of them are biochemists, or even people in sciences that deviated towards medical research. Seeing as Dr.Carson is a great surgeon he would have merited it if it was based on that.

If you really want to pursue that dream, after your MBBS, you can decide to have your masters in medical biochemistry or pharmacology or any field that would require you to carry out research and that would have effect on a larger populace.

Keep your dreams alive bro

I av 4 friends who re admitted for mbbs in oau(some are yet but av beaten the cutoff tru pd) still applying for UI's admission. If i am invited, i also want to write it but virtually for d fun of it.
One of them told me oau is too demanding and stressful to study from d little he passed tru in pd.
