The road is sharing boundary with Abeokuta South local government and Obafemi—Owode local government.

The executive chairman of Obafemi—Owode local government, Ambassador Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina has assured the residents of Soyinka and it's environments of urgent attention to subtle the hardship people are experiencing on the road on a daily basis.

Ogunsola, on a radio station program appealed to the resident of the area to be patient as paper work on the road is ongoing to make the road motorable for the resident of the area.

According to him: "Paper work is ongoing to ensure the road is done as it is one of the major road linking many communities together, Soyinka Train Station is one of the roads I recommend and appealed to the state government to construct the road which they have assured us of embarking on the project after the wet season.

He assured the communities of prompt intervention by the state government because the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun will not leave any stone unturned, he is so passionate about the resident of Ogun State welfare as a responsible governor.

Even those Religious leaders didn't respect them anymore because some of them bowdown for them in church/mosque for prayer what nonsense is that as a king you didn't need to bowdown for anybody even if you want to practice any religion it has to be in your private place without seen by anybody. Family decries move to shield suspected assassin, Jamiu Ayodeji AKA Jamani Ketu by Police in Abuja after killing Alade Bello in Igbolodo village, Lagos





Tragedy as Police shied murder suspect in Abuja, Family calls on President Tinubu, Acting IGP to investigate the matter



There was a mild tragedy in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja today following an hijack of a prime suspect in a murder case in Lagos state identified as Jamiu Ayodeji popularly known as Jamani Ketu by unidentified police officer at the airport road in Abuja today 12th of September, 2023.



Investigation revealed that Jamiu Ayodeji fondly called Jamani Ketu in connivance with Tobiloba Adesanya and their gang members killed one Alade Bello, who is a resident of Igbolodo village, Lagos state and took to their heels after the murder... Jamiu evade arrest and ran to Abuja from Lagos state after perpetrating murder.



The matter was reported at the Nigeria Police Force, NPF Ketu—Omu Division, Lagos shortly before the matter was transferred to state criminal investigation department panti for further investigation which lead to the arrest of one Tobiloba Adesanya and three others leaving others at large among of which is jamiu Ayodeji popularly known as Jamani ketu

The men of the Nigeria Police, CID department made a tactical move to arrest Jamiu Ayodeji aka Jamani Ketu today after using modern days technology to track his whereabouts to Abuja, they arrived Abuja to arrest him being the crime suspect of the killing in Lagos in April, 2023.



The police were able to apprehend Jamiu Ayodeji (Jamani Ketu) and on their way to the airport to transport him back to Lagos to continue the case, some unidentified policemen who are suspected to be rank and files hijacked Jamiu Ayodeji from the policemen, telling them anyone who has case with him should come to the Force Headquaters Abuja to press further.

A two term Commissioner in Ogun State, Engr. Oludotun Taiwo popularly known as (Twinny) on Wednesday paid a visit to Owu Baptist Primary School, Ita- iyalode in Abeokuta, Ogun State on on an inspection to see the performance of both students and teachers who are on summer coaching and also to appreciate the teachers.

It would be recalled that Engr Oludotun on August 7 began a free holiday coaching classes and the beneficiaries were drawn from primary one to primary six pupils in Abeokuta North local government of Ogun State.

On his inspection today, the two term Commissioner congratulated the students also sound a note of advise to the them on needs to take education very serious.

He told to the students that things given to them by others can be taken away from them, but whatever they have learnt can't be taken away from them by anyone advising that they should be good ambassadors of their community.

Engr. Oludotun also advised them to aspire to be great in life and to do great things, saying that they should never limit their aspiration to do exploit, because they are born to be great, the greatness in them is waiting inside them to speak forth, if only they can be more studious and stay focus in their educational pursuits."

In order to show appreciation, he made provision for refreshments for the pupils and the teachers.

He revealed to the teachers that the allowance they earn should not really matter to them, other than the lives of these young ones and their success stories.

Engr. Oludotun therefore prayed that the mercies of God would be with their children too wherever they were.

If we separate traditional worshipers from Islamic religion and Christianity Muslims are a minority in Yorubaland even Oba of Iwo land in Osun state who said he doesn't want traditional worshipers in IWO LAND before yesterday leave Palace and Iwo Town for Traditional worshipers peacefully (Oba kin sa laafin) and he later send a greetings message via Video on social media to the traditional worshipers and the State governor

Yoruba indegenours are more unique and accommodating than any region in the world and that is why we are so special and exposed with sounds educational background we can rule the world because we think for ourselves and respect our culture and traditions

It will be very difficult in a family not to see the mixed religious background we have Christians Muslim and traditional worshipers in almost every family in Yorubaland and we celebrate together peacefully

In my own mother side and father's side I am the only Muslim while others choose to be a Christians and we celebrate religion together peacefully although all religions are acceptable in the Royal house. If not because I wasn't around yesterday august 20th 2023 I would've been the one champion ISESE FESTIVAL in Igangan Ojuda Rulling house, Baaki Rulling house and Olu-Olo Running house we don't discriminate in Royal house

I spent over 4m every year to celebrate Ramadan lecture even last year 2022 that I didn't celebrate Ramadan lecture for my personal reasons I spent nothing less than 1.5m and all my brothers and sisters who choose to be christians with those who choose to be traditional worshipers including my Mother who is a Christian always present at the venue every year with their friends Religion is a beliefs and choice

For the fact that he was arrested and remanded in correctional center people's comments on social media shows the guy still preferable than those Sheikh and Islamic scholars that arrested him so unfortunate

Journalist Badmus has ventured into bio-digester technology and biogas production after about three decades of practice in the noble pen profession.


Badmus whose stint in the nation's media industry traversed across The National Concord, Business Day among others, said his foray into biogas and bio-digester technology became necessary when it dawn in him that the in thing in the 21st Century is green environment which biogas production and bio-digester promote and support.


He said that biogas and bio-digester involved waste and sewerage management system that allows for recycling water and producing biogas by using environmentally friendly technology, explaining that it helps in conservation and serve as alternative source of power at affordable, durable and convenient way.

Badmus spoke to our reporter shortly after a guided tour of the Pelican Brief Estate and Pelican Ecostay Apartments situating at Masa - Kobape corridor of Ogun State, where a leading real estate firm - Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, is working to ignite an eco - friendly and zero - carbon emission 'Smart City' and 'Knowledge base' of the state.


He lauded the man behind the novel project, realtor Babatunde Adeyemo, for his ingenuity, creativity and commitment to the green environment through the Ecostay apartments concept, it would promote good health and longevity in guests, tourists and residents of the planned facilities.

"The in thing in the 21st century is green environment. If you don't go green, you destroy yourself. In furtherance of that, we brought in Mr Badmus, a colleague a brother and a friend who also has a second address like me, we have tested him at Pelican Valley. He has delivered and he has just concluded a Bio-digester for us at Pelican Valley Estate. I used that as a testing ground for him, and having delivered on that, I now bring him down to Ecostay Apartments and Pelican Brief Estate where we want to ignite a smart city and where we want luxury to meet nature.

"We are combining two things here and we want it to be as natural as possible, instead of us digging a suck away, thereby degrading the environment, we are looking at a bio digester, which can also be converted to biogas to generate electricity. You can see that we have already gotten 500kva transformer, they are fully energized and connected to 33KVA trunk line, that supplies us about 20-22hours electricity per day.

"We just need an alternative power supply that can cover for the remaining 2 or 3 hours averagely. We are also looking at the direction of solar-inverter, then bio digester to bio gas. We want here to be 100percent eco -friendly. It is a well laid out environment, we have a place we can use for lounge, restaurant and we are trying to get about two or three camels, donkeys, we are also looking for peacocks just to create a natural ambience.

"I always like to explore what is around me first. Taking a journalist who is a senior colleague and also the issue most journalists have is that we have the trumpet but we don't blow it, it is very quite unfortunate, we have been together for almost quite 20years, i never knew that he is into bio digester and bio gas untill recently. I was marveled to know that, so this man is a bundle of talent and creativity like this and he's not making noise about it.

"Now that we have discovered him, we will put all we have to encourage him. Look at what is happening here, developing here goes beyond Babatunde Adeyemo, i don't think i can finish developing this place. We are trying to ignite a smart city here. The development here is a continuous project. In the next 30-40 years my children will still add value to what we are doing here,God'swilling.

"Where we are standing exactly is where we want to develop our cooperate headquarters, we are going to have a F. M Radio station here, people like Mr Badmus and people that are fulfilled in their profession will have one or two radio programmes to enlighten people here. We are going to have a Pelican Office here to Gods willing, one of the floors is going to be for Oko Opo Foundation, that's my NGO that I will be launching soon. So we are going to have a lot of activities here.

By the grace of God, in the next few months, I want to invite the former Governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, to commission something here because this is part of his handiwork, without him dragging the 35KVA electricity line from the main road to this place I would not have been privileged to have this estate here. Chief Osoba created an opportunity about 25 years ago and one Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo is taking full advantage of that opportunity now.


"We are also planning to appeal to the incumbent governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, to honour us with his presence to see what God has been using us to achieve. This is a generational project.
I am really excited to have somebody that has the expertise that could stand the test of time that we need here. We have so many people doing the biogas and bio-digester work but we will want to partner Badmus. He is like our own blood. He is a journalist, he is my family. i will use my power to encourage my colleagues who are already on the part of second addresses.


"I want to encourage other journalists to have a second address and that is why we are collaborating with NUJ to provide some funds with no interest, we will lend to those that already have second address to add to whatever they are doing and when they refund it, we will lend to others. We are doing it for charity God's willing, we are not expecting extra income or revenue from that. We are going to support Badmus, we just need to push him more to propel his action for future growth and development of our immediate constituency and the nation in general"

THE SILENT WAR IN APC AND THE GBAJABIAMILA, NUHU RIBADU 2027 CONSPIRACY

A new cabal, much more vicious, power hungry and corrupt has emerged in the Bola Tinubu Presidency.

The Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, have formed a tag team, controlling the affairs of Government, shielding Tinubu away from happenings and forming a cabal that would sooner or later tear down the house of APC.

At the back of their mind is 2027 elections. Gbajabiamila does not see Tinubu either completing his tenure or having the capacity to run again in 2027 due to his failing health. His strategy is now to clip the wings of those he perceive might be on his way to replace Tinubu. Gbajabiamila found an ally in Ribadu.

His calculation is that in the event Tinubu cannot continue, he would make Ribadu his running mate. But in the event Tinubu finishes 8yrs, and power is to return to the North, he would run as Ribadu’s running mate.

To achieve those plans, it serves him well to get Mallam Elrufai out of the equation. Elrufai’s clearance for a Ministerial position has now been put on hold. Gbaja and Ribadu are said to have masterminded that to keep the former Kaduna Governor out of the race for 2027 or 2031.

Gbajabiamila and Ribadu’s scheme have brought a major crack in the APC, and Presidency, especially with those who toiled day and night campaigning for Tinubu. There is palpable anger. Anger of being left out from the Ministerial nominations and others political positions. Those who were hitherto close to Tinubu are now so shocked how they were either left out or no longer have access to the President. Gbajabiamila and Ribadu have shut them out, leaving them In regrets.

In Katsina State, a very close ally of Tinubu, Senator Habu Ibrahim, did not make the Ministerial list and no longer have unfettered access to Tinubu. Former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, also lost out of reckoning.

In Ekiti State, former Governor Kayode Fayemi, an intellectual base of the APC, was left out. Same with a renegade member of the PDP, Ayo Fayose.

In Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode and Abike Dabiri were all left out for an unknown Lola Ade-John who is alleged to be a girlfriend of Wale Edun.

In Enugu State, former Governors Chimaraoke Nnamani and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi both betrayed their party, the PDP to work for Tinubu. They have both been shut out. They didn’t get a Ministerial position.

Bashir Lado, Kashim Imam, both long term northern friends of Tinubu lost out and shut out from the villa. Magnus Abe who was tipped for a Ministerial position alongside Nyesom Wike, lost out and shut out because Wike would not have him around.

In Bayelsa, Ebitimi Ambare lost out to Henekein Lokpobiri, a nominee of Wike.
Bayo Onanuga, Tunde Rahman, both very close persons to Tinubu lost out. In fact, Rahman who should have been made the Media Adviser to the President, was blocked by the duo of Gbajabiamila and Dele Alake. Rahman is now considering leaving the Government.

Femi Fani-Kayode, Tunji Bello, Babatunde Ogala, Ahmed Raji, Abiodun Faleke Senator Tokubo Abiru, SWAGA’23 Soji Akanbi , Dayo Adeyeye and very close friends of Tinubu who have all been schemed out and shut out.

The duo of Gbajabiamila and Ribadu are playing their cards well, watching for anyone who might be a threat to their 2027 or 2031 Presidential ambitions. How long the scheming would last would be determined by the strength of their strategies.

Ex Reps Deputy Minority Whips, Adekoya to become Grand Commander of the Order of Ostrich (GCOO)

The former house of representatives deputy minority whips, Rt. Hon. Adesegun Abdel—Majid Adekoya is set to be conferred with Grand Commander of The Order of Ostrich, (GCOO) of Ijebu—Ode club in Ogun state.


Attacker as he is fondly called is the member house of representatives, Ijebu East, Ijebu North and Ogun Waterside for two term under the platform of People's Democratic Party PDP.


Ijebu—Ode Club was founded in 1921 by well-meaning indigenous sons of Ijebuland to promote relationship between the sons and daughters of the soil.


The conferment ceremony shall be holding on Friday 11th of August, 2023 at the club house in Ijebu—Ode in Ogun state.


Recently, Rt. Hon. Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya was installed as Saraki—Adinni by the Muslim community in Ago—Iwoye, Ogun East based on his unrelenting efforts to mould the people of his constituency irregardless of age and belief.


He is a man of many chieftancy titles and honorary awards during his meritorious service to his people during his political sojourn in Nigeria.

‘I Have Never defrauded Any One In My Entire Life”- CEO Pelican Valley


The Chief Executive officer of the Award winning Real Estate Firm, Pelican Valley Nigeria limited, Ambassador (Dr) Babatunde Adeyemo has revealed that he has never defrauded anyone in his entire life and even as Pelican Valley has Four lawyers under it, none has ever go to court to defend the company on any fraud related offence.

The Journalist Turned Realtor who hailed from Oyo state said that Pelican Valley has always carried out its Business Transactions with the fear of God ,good will and integrity, saying the organisation’s growth has been gradual because the firm has never delve into what it cannot handle.

According to Ambassador Adeyemo ” I can be bold to say that I have never defrauded anyone in my entire life, I don’t know any DPO, and despite having at least four lawyers under our company’s retainership, none has ever gone to court to defend us because we have always done things with the fear of God, goodwill and integrity. We started small and began growing, we don’t bite more than we can chew, we are contented with our ‘slow and steady win the race’ approach. We are not greedy and we don’t make ourselves vulnerable. I have been doing this real estate business for close to 13 years alongside my career in journalism but I have always maintained a very low profile with it. Some will think I am just making it, no, God has been helping us for some time now but despite that, I was only using a car that I changed its engine five times before getting another one. Patience is the word. Real estate is like a cumulative grade point just like it is in the university. The foundation is very essential in real estate business, there are some things one has got to do before you begin to sell land according to government rules but if you fail to do them and after collecting people’s money you started gallivanting and spending the money as it pleases you, a time will come when a government will come and force you to do what you have failed to do and those things are usually capital intensive. At that time, such real estate merchants will be in trouble, they will think any way is a way, they will want to defraud their clients, cut corners, do anything to survive.”

In an Interview with news Direct and monitored by newsbarrelng The ECOWAS and Anti Corruption Ambassador explained that his quest to be financially independent, stable and love for business were the reasons he diversified from journalism to real estate.

” I have always been someone who wants his integrity intact but I realised most Nigerian journalists are always struggling with the brown envelope syndrome, you know what I mean. Journalists will sometimes see terrible things but keep quiet because they have collected money. So, in a bid to guide against all of these, I started thinking of having a second address, something that will make me to be more financially stable and independent, that was how I got into real estate. It’s something that I have always loved doing because I have passion for unusual homes. The land at Pelican Valley inspired me too. Incidentally, the genesis of my real estate business has two sides to it. When my immediate elder brother was in the university, he had a barbershop and he employed a stylist to run it. However, about the time that I finished my certificate programme from the Federal Cooperative College and I was supposed to observe one year internship, the stylist said he was no longer working for my brother. In fact, he stopped working while barbing one of our customers, I had to pick up the clipper and finished up the barbing. Without ever being trained as a barber, that was how I took up the job and operated the shop throughout my university days. So, it was through barbing that I sponsored my education. Our barbing shop then became an household name such that even when I was in the school, people would wait for me to come home during the weekend to barb their hairs. To cut the story short, after my university education and I was posted to Niger State for service, the business went down, when I came back from the service, I wanted to resuscitate the business but my brother said that we should step up to transportation business. I invested about N1.8m into this business, however things didn’t go the way we envisaged, the business died because neither of us could drive, so I told my brother to let me have one of the cars so that at least I would know that I have not wasted all the money, that peradventure I could dispose the car and use the money for something that I could always make reference to. At Abeokuta here while working as the Ogun State Correspondent for MITV, I met a man, Mr Akanni Taiwo now late, may God rest his soul, who proposed to buying the car while giving me two plots of land in return. One of us, Kunle Olayeni now with Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago Iwoye is a living witness to this epoch-making incident. So, the man took us to where the land is and after showing us the two plots of land I asked if he has more land that I could buy and be paying on instalment, he said he had three acres, so I paid. My original intention of buying the land was to have something to fall back on. My wife was pregnant with our first daughter then, my calculation was that in the next six years my daughter would have been in school and I can always dispose off parts of the land to sponsor her education, I never knew I was buying my future, like I became a realtor by divine intervention.That was how Pelican Valley began. I started rejigging the land because of its topography until it becames what it is today.”

The University Of Lagos Graduate and Masters holder Said he doesn’t like to venture into Nigeria politics because of several factors surrounding it which might directly or indirectly affect ones integrity adding that One can always touch people’s lives without venturing into politics. ‘This is the reason behind the establishment of Oko Opo Foundation. I am willing, however, to serve my country in any capacity if it comes in the form of an appointment.”

He added that his passion for the less privileged was one of the reasons he established the OKO OPO FOUNDATION

“It is just my own little way of giving back to the society. It’s out of my personal conviction to build enduring institution. I don’t really need so much to survive, so I have passion for the less privileged. I have always told my children not to rely on my assets but that I will definitely give them that sound education that will make them stand shoulder high anywhere in the world, give them the platform to fly higher. If you fit into what we are doing in Pelican Valley, then you are free to continue from wherever I stop, but for you to now want to inherit the assets is a no. No for me because I believe that there is no amount of assets that you can inherit that will secure your future. So my emphasis is on building people and institutions that will stand the test of time. The rich goodwill we have garnered over the years in the real estate business has provided us with the springboard to take off with this noble idea.”

On how to Solve Housing Problems in Nigeria, Ambassador Adeyemo said “the bad economy is the major culprit here, once the economy is in shambles as it is now, the housing challenge which requires a bit of capital will suffer. The only thing government can afford to subsidise is land because land is technically said to be owned by the government and even at that, you will still have to pay or compensate the original owners and custodians of the land. Can the government subsidise the cost of the iron, the roofing sheets, cement, cost of labour? For example, if you want to build a standard three bedroom house, I mean those houses that will stand the test of time you will be talking of about N35m or N40m.”

“The government must fix the economy and also ensure that we have the right people at the helm of affairs to ensure that resources for each sector are not diverted or stolen. Look at the fantastic job the Registrar of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof Isiaq Oloyede is doing. Who will ever believe JAMB could be making as much as N8billion, N9billion, so we have to tackle corruption upfront in the country if we ever care to make any meaningful progress. There was a time I was having some amount of money in my account, I used everything to provide electricity for all our estates and up till date I have not charged the people for anything. I could have spent the money as it pleases me because the people only bought the land which I have given them but I thought that I could add further value to their lives and my business. Today, if I want to embark on such projects, I will be talking of over half a billion naira. So, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should really be ready to fight corruption and work with people who are less greedy, it is the bane of our underdevelopment and outright stagnation.”

The CEO Pelican Valley also maintained that the commitment between him and his management team to always do things right and within the ambit of the laws were the reasons why Pelican Valley Nigeria limited has continued to be a leading Real Estate Firm with so many Diaspora customers and several awards received.
“We don’t bite more than what we can chew. Also, the leadership. We always want to do things right no matter how challenging and costly it is, and we always put first the comfort and safety of the investment of our clients. Sincerely, leadership and goodwill that we have built over time is the key. Unfortunately, many youth of nowadays don’t want to buy time at all. I remember one of them that God used me to pick up from the gutter about three years ago that nearly took the business over from me, a business I have been building for close to 15 years, It is that bad. They always act as if they will die the next day, likewise, our politicians… assuming I have the whole of Abeokuta to sell, I can do that today, get all the money, ride my G-Wagon Benz and still go broke later but if I decide to sell say three plots now, add value to it, wait for another five years to sell again, the properties would have appreciated the more by that time. I will definitely make more money and even buy five G-Wagons at a time to ride. That’s how things work in real estate.Time and patience are of the essence in real estate business. I am not always in a hurry to sell my properties. I am a value driven person. I am always scared of collecting money from people because delivery is very crucial for me. That is why we don’t advertise our lands in the media, you won’t hear us on radio, yes, you can see one or two of our billboards in some places and that is just to establish our presence, just to say that we are also existing.

“I intend bringing Dubai into Ogun State. It is not about building slums everywhere in the name of having estates, what goes into an estate is more than the building. What about the infrastructure like roads, electricity and the likes. Even sometimes it is difficult for some state governments to manage five estates due to the fact that it is a capital intensive business, and that’s why they usually give them to private developers most often. For instance, Pelican Valley used to be a very difficult terrain, it used to be a mountain as high as a four storey building but for seven good years, I was busy cutting the hill and landscaping it to different levels, in the whole of Southwest you can’t get a place like the Pelican Valley. Go to Pelican Valley and see things for yourself. After Pelican Valley, we moved to Pelican Brief, since we have been able to do something substantial in Pelican Valley which is like a mini estate. It is our success story there that we are now leveraging on to sell Pelican Brief, which is going to be a smart city. We also have Greenish Acres Farm Estate and Ecostay Apartments where we sell unusual houses too.”

Truthfully,this month is a crucial month of the year as it marks the beginning of a new era, a fresh start and a new dawn but I task you all to aim higher in this new month, by that one thing is sure that there is always a room at the top for each and every one of us which implies that there is always a light at the end of a dark tunnel.

By considering the situation of our country and world at large, may l passionately appeal to our constituents and citizens to remain calm despite the economic downturn which has affected the country's sociologically, psychologically and economically.

But with assurance, the president *His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCON* is working round the clock to ensure that the economy is stabilized and our Governor *His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR CON* is also putting some palliatives in place to assist the citizens. Why APC Support Groups, PCC, ICC are not smiling with the mimisterial list





The Tinubu Ministerial List has triggered a wave of reactions, with various groups expressing their dissatisfaction with the absence of key figures who played instrumental roles in the success of the government. Support groups, such as the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), are feeling neglected and undervalued as they perceive a sense of unfair treatment akin to the phrase "monkey dey work, baboon dey chop."

These support groups worked tirelessly during the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and the Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC) investing their hard-earned funds into the cause without receiving any financial support for six months. They played a crucial role in giving the campaign the necessary impetus, yet they now find themselves on the sidelines, watching others reap the benefits of their efforts.

The snubbing of the leadership of these support groups and the PCC has raised serious concerns within the ranks of party loyalists. This situation reminds them of the Buhari administration, where support groups were used and then discarded, leaving dedicated individuals feeling marginalized and unappreciated.

The absence of key figures who spearheaded the campaign and fought a hard battle for victory has particularly disappointed many. *Prominent names such as Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State James Abiodun Faleke, Femi Fani-Kayode, Onanuga, Soji Akanbi, Dayo Adeyeye, Gbenga Obadara, Omole, Hilliard Etta, Ogala SAN, Elton Onwu, Ajiboye, Meseko, Abe, Obono-Obla and Festus Keyamo* are missing from the list. These individuals are well-known party faithful who have consistently supported the party's agenda.

The most ridiculous is the situation with the front runner organisation for the Tinubu Presidential Campaign-SWAGA and their foot soldiers in the South West with the likes of Senators Dayo Adeyeye in Ekiti, Gbenga Obadara in Ogun State, Soji Akanbi in Oyo State consigned to dustbin when it comes to rewarding them with Ministerial appointments. Their Governors deprived them of their Senatorial tickets because they brought SWAGA to their States and not following their candidates in the build up to the Party Primaries.

They spent their resources from 2020 to date to maintain their followers, going round the South West States as well adjoining States canvassing for support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidency.

As the party faithful eagerly await the release of the next list of cabinet members, loyalists are growing increasingly concerned that those who truly understand and invest in the party's success will continue to be overlooked. This lack of recognition is disheartening for those who dedicated their time, energy, and resources to promote the party's ideals.

The support groups, PCC and ICC members believe that it is essential for the government to acknowledge their efforts and contributions by including them in key roles within the cabinet. They argue that the inclusion of individuals with a deep understanding of the party's vision and those who have demonstrated their commitment through their tireless work would be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation of the Renewed Hope Manifesto.

Party loyalists are calling on the government to reconsider its selection process and prioritize individuals who have proven their loyalty and dedication to the party's cause. They believe that this approach will not only ensure the inclusivity of all key stakeholders but also create a sense of unity and motivation within the party.

In addition to their concerns about the absence of key figures, support groups, ICC and PCC members are also troubled by the fact that those who knew their commitment and sacrifice to the campaign are absent from the list. They argue that a more inclusive and participatory approach, which involves consultation with party members, would help to address these concerns and foster a stronger sense of trust and unity within the party.

The government must recognize and appreciate the efforts of those who played instrumental roles in its success. By including these individuals in key cabinet positions, the government can demonstrate its commitment to harnessing the full potential of its most dedicated members while also restoring faith and confidence in the party.

The upcoming release of the next list of cabinet members will undoubtedly be a critical moment for the government to address these concerns and ensure that the party's supporters are rewarded for their unwavering dedication. Only through fair representation, inclusion, and recognition can the party foster a sense of unity, motivation, and commitment among its members. The time to act is now.

Ago-Iwoye Muslim Community Set to Welcome, Turban Rt. Hon. Aremo Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya as the Saraki Adinni

The Ago-Iwoye Muslim Council in conjunction with the league of Imams and Alfas under the headship of the Alhaji Ally Shittu, the Chief Imam of Ago-Iwoye have unanimously agreed to organize an heroic welcome in honour of Prince Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya (ATTACKER), the Deputy Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, 9th National Assembly.

The Ago-Iwoye Muslim community has also decided to turban *Aremo Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya as the Saraki Adinni of Ago-Iwoye* during the scheduled heroic welcome program.

These historic events will take place on *Saturday, 5th August, 2023 at the Ago-Iwoye City Stadium* which was facilitated by Aremo Adesegun Adekoya.

Aremo Adesegun Adekoya as a very committed Muslim faithful has contributed meaningfully to the growth of Islam in Ago-Iwoye and beyond.

The construction of Ako-Matoole Mosque, Labe Village Ultra-Modern Mosque with Borehole, Mamu Modern Mosque and the complete renovation/beautification of Ago-Iwoye Central Mosque are some of the fantastic efforts of Prince Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya.

Aremo Adesegun Adekoya has also sponsored/assisted many Muslim men/women to Saudi Arabia for Hajj preglemages.

The Muslim High School, Ago-Iwoye has also benefitted immensely from Aremo Adesegun Adekoya generosity.

The recently inducted ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, has been named the ‘Yoruba Youth Humanitarian Icon’ of the Year ’23 by the umbrella body of all yoruba youth organisations; Yoruba Youth Assembly (YYA), for his passion for community, youth empowerment, support to the less privileged members of the society and other humanitarian service through his Oko Opo Foundation, a Non – Governmental Organisation among other communities service projects.

The socio-ethnic group which noted that it had paid more than passive interest in Adeyemo’s personality as a quintessential, pragmatic, visionary and exceptional leader and individual as palpably proven in his real estate practice, said the members came to the conclusion that the experience and effort of the foremost realtor must not go unrecognised by the YYA.

The Economic hardship the citizens are facing needs a cushion from all tiers of government.

(FACC) said the amount shared was higher than the sum of N701.78 billion received in the previous month by N451.13 billion.
The Chairman Governors forum H.E Abdul Rahman Abdul Razaq of Kwara State pledged on behalf of his colleagues to work with the government of PBAT to reduce hardship effect caused by the removal of oil subsidy on the populace.
They have promised a synegy between all the three tiers of government to form a common goal in order to improve the standard of living for average Nigerians.
The cooperation given by local governments and State governments to the Federal Government has shown that there would be a strong bond between all the tiers of government.


The State governments should increase the numbers and also subsidized mass-transit buses to an affordable rate in order to help the populace.
The Nigeria Railway Corporation can equally make a reduction on the train fare.
A quick Palliative measures must come from the Federal government where everyone will benefit. The informal sector are vulnerable and they must be protected. And so a quick data must be generated in making sure that the Palliative measures meant to be distributed reached those in need. Especially vulnerable members of our society.

Thé agrement for an acceptable and reasonable minimum wage should be quickly decided between the Three tiers of government and the labour unions.
The Federal Government should earnestly bring a policy to revive the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME). This has capability of increasing cash liquidity of the sector and reduce unemployment.

We must commend Mr President for signing Student loan scheme act however the bottle-neck that may hinder the execution of this laudable act must be well taken care off.

ABEOKUTA – A real estate agent, Alhaji Mutairu Owoeye has debunked the allegation levied against him of encroaching on the land allocated to an Indian investor, Mr.Thrivikrama Bhat by the Ogun State Government.


Owoeye, While speaking with Amebo Newspapers NG. through a telephonic conversation said the Indian investor who is the owner of GBMT GLOBAL LTD, Osopo village Sagamu and others just choose to play a foul game by defaming him simply because he is aware that the land doesn't belong to him, he has no proof of ownership.

Also, he said the case is already in court, the family who owns the land has approached court of law after arresting the Indian and the acclaimed investor who invaded their land.

"This Indian man, because of lack of evidences to proof ownership, he ended up engaging hooligans to protect him even after he was sanctioned by the court on ownership sake, the family owns the land not any Indians or Investor..... Police arrested the cultists he is moving around with and ammunition was recovered from them."


"It is laughable for anyone to say I invaded a land and beat someone on a land, None of my boys or worker invaded any land to disrupt activities of the acclaimed Indian investors because I have warned all my workers to take all matters within armbit of the law as a law abiding citizen of Nigeria." The ECOWAS Youth Council(EYC) on Thursday urged the new chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to make youth inclusion and development parts of the sub-regional body's agenda in this his tenure.


The EYC which hailed Tinubu who doubles as the elected President of Nigeria for making ending coup, maintaining peace and security in West Africa, especially in the francophone countries a priority issues of the ECOWAS, said these steps if pursued effectively would ensure stability, peace and unity in members' countries.

The President of EYC, Amb. (Dr.) Oluwaseun William, made this known at The Podium, Pelican Valley Estate Laderin - Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, during the investiture of Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo as ECOWAS Youth Ambassador at a ceremony that had in attendance, renowned Neurosurgeon, Dr. Olusola Talabi, Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Bureau of Politics and Intergovernmental Affairs, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, former federal lawmaker, Hon. Adekunle Adeyemi, Chief Olawale Olaleye among others.

Adeyemo, a foremost realtor and CEO of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, also bagged the EYC's Nelson Mandela Leadership for Excellence and Integrity Award at the occasion.


Dr. William who noted the place of youth in a society, nation building and peace in West African subregion, expressed the readiness of the youth organisation to engage President Tinubu on how to bring about youth inclusion in the governance of ECOWAS.

He added that going forward, the body is going to help the youth participate in politics, economic development, regional integration and education as part of measures to push the youth up the ladder of leadership and decision - making position.


He said, "The ECOWAS Chairman, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who doubles as the President of Nigeria has made stopping coup and maintaining peace and security in West African subregion, most especially in the francophone countries, as top items on his agenda and we are waiting and we want to see the agenda of Mr. Chairman as regard youth inclusion because this is where and area who would be able to engage the ECOWAS Chairman and the Commission on how they want to be decisive in ensuring the growth of young people in West Africa.

"And of course even without hearing his agenda in place, we are putting some ideas in place to engage the appropriate quarters that link to Mr President to see how we can bring youth inclusion in the governance of ECOWAS itself and how we are going to help the youth participate in politics, economic development, regional integration and education," he said.


Speaking in his acceptance speech, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo emphasized the need to harness the potentials of Nigerian youths, saying this informed why his firm embarked upon 100% youth workforce policy, launched several youths entrepreneurial development and self reliance campaigns to secondary schools in the country, in a bid to catch them young and awaken their sleeping entrepreneurial skills for future exploits.


"An average Nigerian youth have had their future being stolen and looted, hence the need for our new Government of the day to make a drastic effort to reconcile the huge margin between the young and the old Nigerians in governance.

"The aborted end SARS protest in Lagos, is a very strong expression of grievance by the Nigerian youths, that should not be overlooked by any serious nation or government. Yes, the Nigerian numerous economic challenges cannot be corrected overnight, but an average Nigerian youth, need to start to have the sense of belonging, from the appointments of the President. Only the youths can guarantee an effective and efficient delivery of the Nigerian future.

"Research has it that the current life expectancy for Nigeria in 2023 is 55.75 years, when you compare this with ages of our leaders, we will all agree that the nation needs a drastic injection of decent youths in governance.

"These youths, if properly selected, can always be used as frontline or veritable agent of bargaining powers for government, whenever revolt raises its head and also to guarantee quality and energy - filled governance," Adeyemo said.
