Nasarawa State keys into the Renewed Hope Housing Programme.

...Gives 25 hectares of land to FHA .

The Renewed Hope Housing programme keeps getting boost across the country as the Nasarawa State Government has given 25 hectares of land to Federal Housing Authority for project.

This was disclosed by the State Governor His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, Tuesday 28 May 2024, when the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Federal Housing Authority Hon.Oyetunde Ojo led a team of his management on a courtesy visit to him.

The FHA boss in his address commended the Governor for his developmental strides in the state, especially in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture and the welfare of the workers and pensioners.

The MD informed Governor Sule that his major reason for visit is to bring the message of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) on the Renewed Hope Housing initiative to Nasarawa state. According to Hon Ojo, Nasarawa is the 22nd state FHA management has visited with this message over the past weeks.

He reminded the Governor that Federal Housing Authority is saddled with the responsibility of housing Nigerians and developing cities. It is because of this he said that the President deemed it fit to appoint a new management for FHA under him saddled with this responsibility.

President Tinubu he noted attaches serious importance in not just providing houses for Nigerians, but livable and affordable ones.
Hon Ojo told Governor Sule that FHA through the value chain of Housing construction intends to help fight Inflation and insecurity by creating several jobs. He informed the Governor that the Authority is one of the beneficiary the funds recently approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC). With the fund, the MD said FHA is poised to go to into massive housing construction.

However, he told His Excellency Governor Sule that the Authority can not do much without having land. In his words, Hon Ojo said, " ...we can not achieve all these without land. That is why we are here, for you to help us get this land".
Continuing, he also said,"in seeking this land, we appeal that you help us remove the bottle neck of payment of compensation and other encumbrances".

The FHA Chief Executive informed the governor that the Authority would definitely reciprocate such waiver that would save it a lot of cost by returning some Housing units back to the State for the lower Cadre of her workers.
He reiterated the Authority’s stance on collaboration with states in designs and planning, reaffirming FHA Management's decision not to stay in Abuja and impose designs on people. He clarified once more that the move is in cognizance of differences in people's culture. This also he said is to ensure that the houses would be taken on completion.

On the delivery model. Hon Ojo re- stated his earlier position that finishing would not be imposed on the people. He maintained that forcing certain finishing remains the reason why disposal prices of houses are high and out of the reach of the people on the low Cadre. He insisted that finishing should be a function of affordability and individual taste.

FHA the MD said would be developing Disapora Cities in all the States where land is made available. This he said is to help the diasporians to have befitting houses back home and to minimize how they are defrauded in the guise of helping the to build houses. The Authority’s recent digitisation he said would make the diasporians have seamless dealings with us and at the same time afford them the opportunity to monitor their investments.

Finally, Hon Ojo re- echoed President Tinubu's apolitical directive on the Renewed Hope. He noted that it is a Nigerian programme, irrespective of political affiliation, religion or tribe. The MD noted that his team has visited non APC Governors, who have pledged support for the programme.

In his response, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi Sule appreciated the Management for coming to Nasarawa State . He applauded the President's apolitical stance of the programme and his determination not only to give Nigerian

One-Year-In-Office: Nigerians are Suffering – PDP chieftain Adedipe Ewenla Scores Tinubu Government Low

A chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Alimosho, Lagos State, and a member of the state's disciplinary committee, Prince (Dr) Adedipe Ewenla, NiL DiL Bsc Msc. has scored the performance of President Bola Tinubu-led administration on its first anniversary in power low and below expectations of over 250 million Nigerians.

Amb. Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, in a press release signed and made available to newsmen expressed his disappointment and concern over the state of the nation, citing insecurity, economic challenges, fuel scarcity, educational failure, and mismanagement of funds as some of the pressing issues facing the country.

He described the Tinubu administration as the worst in Nigeria's democratic history, stating that it has failed to fulfill its primary purpose of promoting the welfare and security of its citizens.

Ewenla emphasized that the country is facing an existential crisis due to the failure of successive leaders to address the problems of nation-building.

Ewenla urged President Tinubu to be truthful about the state of the nation and to take immediate action to address the suffering of Nigerians.

His words, “Tinubu should come out and tell Nigerians the true position of things in the country; the country has suffered enough and we need results fast.

“After a careful study of the state of the nation and a review of administrations since Nigeria’s independence from colonial rule in 1960, especially in the civilian dispensation which started on May 29, 1999, the Tinubu administration emerged the worst in terms of not fulfilling the primary purpose of government, which is promoting the welfare and security of its citizens.”

Ewenla described the life of the ordinary citizen as a mess, owing to the economic hardship fuelled by high transportation, fuel price hike and exorbitant food items in the market, adding that this has made the country the laughing stock of its neighbours and beyond.

According to the PDP stalwart, “Nigeria is gradually becoming the permanent invalid ‘Giant of Africa,’ all patriots are ashamed of what is going on in the country as the polity is fast drifting towards its elastic limit.”
Ewenla therefore enjoined the Tinubu government to redouble efforts in turning around the fortunes of the nation, in line with the expectations of the citizenry and his administration’s promises of effective change.

I see nothing good in Tinubu administration more than high corruption and insecurity, he added

Tokunbo Ajila Jakande, TAJ Children Foundation Clears Medical Bills In Ekiti

In a bid to contribute its own quota to the well-being of Ekiti residents, a non-governmental organisation, Tokunbo Ajila Jakande (TAJ) Foundation has cleared over N1 million in medical expenses of stranded patients at the state government-owned Ekiti State Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) in Ekiti State.

The medical outreach held on May 25th, 2024, in collaboration with the Office of Community Communications, Governor's Office, was part of TAJ Children Foundation's activities in commemoration of this year's Children's Day. Not only that, the humanitarian venture is part of the foundation's goals of lifting the poor out of poverty and offering a helping hand to the needy in the society.

More importantly, the medical intervention was designed to complement Ekiti State governor, Biodun Oyebanji's social intervention initiatives aimed at the betterment of communities across Ekiti State.

Tokunbo Ajila-Jakande, founder of TAJ Children Foundation accompanied by her team and the Director-General, DG, Bureau of Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho stormed EKSUTH in style and doled out over a million naira cash to clear the medical expenses of 26 stranded EKSUTH patients.

In her own words "It's primarily a children foundation in preparation for every year's Children's Day. We will look for other things to do in addition to Children's Day festival that they do every May 27th. I decided to collaborate with the Office of Community Communications to see how we can help stranded patients in the hospital".

She continued "The beneficiaries are 26. We gave them a total sum of N1. 100m. Some of them have N30, 000 bills to pay and they're held because of that. We decided to pay their bills so that they can go home. The ones that have more than that, we will talk to other meaningful citizens that can assist them in paying their bills. We are expecting more from the foundation and other good people of the state". She concluded.

DG, Bureau of Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Omotosho, on her part hailed the foundation for taking off the financial burdens of her people and urged philanthropists in Ekiti to follow in TAJ Children Foundation's footsteps in order to kick out poverty in Ekiti State. Mrs. Omotosho said "What we are doing is to complement the efforts of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and what TAJ Foundation has done in partnering with the Office of Community Communications is in line with the Governor's vision of ensuring good life and well-being of Ekiti people. Governor Oyebanji is naturally a compassionate governor and leader who gives up his own comfort for others to be comfortable. She has chosen to do this with the Office of Community Communications.

We have a lot of Vulnerable people placing a lot of request". Expressing his gratitude to TAJ Children Foundation, Olanrewaju Olumide, a beneficiary of the medical outreach said "We thank her for what she has done for us. She has done it sometime ago. We appreciate her for paying our bills in this hospital. We thank her for doing well. It means a lot because part of our bill has been reduced".

Ruling house alleges self-acclaimed traditional ruler, Yisa Olaniyan of flagrant disobedience to court order

The Iwaye Adodo ruling house comprising the entire members of Asade, Adekanbi, Oteni and Okeleye royal families in Ipokia of Ogun State have frowned at the alleged flagrance disobedience to the order of court by Yisa Olaniyan, who still go about on self-acclaimed as Onipokia of Ipokia town.

Amebo news reports that the royal families in a press statement recalled that the court in the ruling in suit number Ab/ 253/2019 between Prince Adesola Asade and 2 others vs. Governor of Ogun State and others on March 3, 2022 set aside the approval and appointment of Yisa Olaniyan as the Onipokia of Ipokia.

The families added that Justice Ogunfowora had set aside the approval and appointment of Yisa Olaniyan as the Onipokia of Ipokia pending the hearing and determination of the motion of notice for injunction earlier filed by Asade/Adekanbi royal Family on behalf of Iwaye Adodo Rulling House, Ipokia.

Amebo news further reports that the families, however, expressed shock that despite the above order Olaniyan has continued unabated to parade himself as the Onipokia of Ipokia and gallivanting all over the place to illegally carry out the functions and duties as Onipokia of Ipokia.

‘It is pertinent to state unequivocally here that in his ruling on the subject matter at the State High Court, sitting in Abeokuta, on 3rd March, 2022, his Lordship, Honourable Justice Ogunfowora had set aside the approval and appointment of Yisa Olaniyan as the Onipokia of Ipokia pending the hearing and determination of the motion of notice for injuction earlier filed by Asade/Adekanbi royal family on behalf of Iwaye Adodo ruling house Ipokia’

‘Despite the above order Yisa Olaniyan has continued unabated to parade himself as the Onipokia of Ipokia and gallivanting all over the place to illegally carry out the functions and duties as Onipokia of Ipokia’, the families noted.

The families pointed out that in its ruling, the judge specifically stated at page 6 ,that he must state with all sense of responsibility that a government that requests, nay, demands obedience and respect of its citizenry to eschew self-help must not itself disrespect the court and its processes, particularly when it is aware that a matter is in court

Amebo news online also reports that the Iwaye Dodo ruling house stated in the statement that the court posited that the defendants have no right to take matters into their hands once the court was seized of it, in the final analysis and in view of the above.

The Defendants have no right to take matters into their hands once the Court was seized of it. In the final analysis and in view of the above, this application is granted in the following terms: The approval of the appointment of Yisa Olusola Olaniyan as the ONIPOKIA OF IPOKIA by the government of Ogun State is hereby set aside pending the hearing and determination of the Claimants’ application for Interlocutory Injunction which has been filed since on the 1st of June, 2020’, the families recalled.

‘However, despite the above order of the court, Yisa Olusola Olaniyan has continued to recklessly, lawlessly and most irresponsibly carry-out the functions and duties as Onipokia of Ipokia in flagrant disobedience of the valid and subsisting order of the High court of Ogun State’, the families noted.

‘On April 11, 2022 the Asade/Adekanbi who are the Claimants in the suit on behalf of the entire Asade, Adekanbi, Oteni and Okeleye families of Iwaye Adodo Ruling house in Ipokia further approached the High Court by filing the necessary/appropriate processes for committal proceedings against the Yisa Olusola Olaniyan and other traditional ruler(s), official(s), person(s) or group(s) for aiding and/or condoning reckless and lawless disobedience of Court Order. The committal processes still in court’, the families wrote.

‘Since March 3, 2022 Yisa Olusola Olaniyan has continued to illegally perform official functions as Onipokia of Ipokia at several occasions and proves and evidences has been filled before the court. It’s on record that Yisa Olusola has installed over Fifteen (15) head of villages (Baales) in the last two (2,) years of the ruling against the order of the court of competent jurisdiction.

‘On Thursday, 16th day of May, 2024, Yisa Olusola Olaniyan, in his full regalia and paraphernalia of office as Onipokia and in company of other designated Traditional Rulers of Ipokia Local Government hosted the new Comptroller of the Federal Operations Unit, Zone A of the Nigeria Customs Service’, the families alleged.

‘This action of Yisa Olaniyan is contemptuous, abuse of court order and an affront to constituted authority (Court) and total disrespect to Hon Justice Ogunfowora ruling of the court of competent jurisdiction’.

‘We wish to warn (with courteous regards) Yewa Land Traditional Count, Chiefs including persons, groups, bodies or associations that it is contemptuous, and a criminal offence to accord respect to, or recognize or address Yisa Olusola Olaniyan as Onipokia of Ipokia, or address him as such in any way or manner either directly or by implications. We are law abiding and we believe in the rule of law.

Renewed Hope Housing Programme: Nigeria Army to Partner Federal Housing
Authority.

The Nigeria Army will be partnering with Federal Housing Authority to provide befitting houses for officers and men of the force.
This position was made known by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Toareed Lagbaja, Thursday 16th May, 2024 when the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Authority, Hon Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo paid him a courtesy visit.

Hon Ojo had in his address Congratulated the COAS for his visible efforts that has greatly improved security in the country. He however told the Army Chief that the primary purpose of his visit was to bring the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR) on housing to the Nigeria Army.

The MD re emphasized the President's interest in giving Nigerians befitting not just houses, but livable and affordable ones, a factor that featured prominently in his manifesto. He said that it is in looking for a way to factor in the officers and men of the Nigeria Army that the visit to the Chief of Army Staff became most imperative. To under pin the seriousness FHA has in providing houses to the Army personnel for their sacrifices in protecting the nation, Hon Ojo noted that he had earlier paid a similar visit to the Chief of Defence Staff.

According to the FHA boss, " We have come to discuss how to provide not just houses to the Nigeria Army, but livable and affordable ones ". Speaking further, the MD noted , "it is only proper for the Army to defend us as we are to shelter you. We therefore want to have a synergy with you".

Hon Ojo while commending the efforts of the force to provide houses for its personnel, noted that due to the spread of of the officers and men throughout the nook and crannies of the country, it will be highly challenging to provide houses for them. In his words, he said, "despite your housing projects in parts of the country, you have many men all over the country, whom you can not reach. We want a partnership that will get to all your men throughout the country ".

The FHA MD was emphatic on the resolution of the Authority’s management at targeting the junior officers. This he revealed is why the houses would be delivered as carcas, where the exterior would have a prototype finishing, with electricals and plumbing, leaving the interior finishing to individual taste and capacity. He noted that it is needless to impose finishing on people, which is what makes disposal prices of houses to go beyond the reach of the very junior one. " We want to do a project the soldiers can afford. That is why our management has decided to deliver carcas", he added.

Hon Ojo also pointed that the morale of the soldiers would be highly boosted if they know that they have livable houses of their own during and post service.

As an incentive, the FHA boss said the Authority would consider the men of Nigeria Army at a reduced price. This he said has been made possible because some of the Governor's have given the Authority land free in their states. This he said would greatly reduce the cost.

The MD also noted that the Value Chain of Housing construction would create direct and indirect jobs, engage our youths and help check insecurity.

He therefore said that once buy - in of the Army is secured, FHA's team would meet the Army's team for the designs.
In his response, the Chief of Army Staff stated that the Nigeria Army welcomes the initiative to provide houses for its personnel. The Army according to him is highly disposed to providing an enabling environment for the soldiers in and outside service.

Speaking further, General Lagbaja noted that the Army is highly concerned about the families of the personnel, which is a major reason why it engages in building houses. "We are focused on the families of our men. That is why we engage in building. We are not in competition with FHA", he said.

The COAS pointed out that the soldiers need lots of support, especially due to the nature of their deployment. He noted that the Army needs FHA because of the Authority’s capacity and r

Plateau State Partners FHA

... As Hon Oyetunde Ojo, Managing Director and Chief Executive visits the state.

The Executive Governor of Plateau states, "His Excellency Caleb Mutfwang has allocated over 100 hectares of land to Federal Housing Authority for the Renewed Hope Housing project.

This was made known Tuesday 14th May, 2024, when the Authority’s Managing Director and Chief Executive, Hon Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo led a team of management on a visit to the state governor.

Hon Oyetunde Ojo had earlier in his address thanked the governor for graciously allocating land to FHA before the visit, demonstrating his zeal to serve his people. He also commended the Governor for the sustained development of the state, which is visible from the various projects going on, especially the massive support agriculture and farmers are receiving.

The MD informed the governor that the main purpose of the visit was to bring to him the message of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) on the need to house Nigerians, through the Renewed Hope Agenda programme on Housing, reiterating Mr President's directives on not only giving Nigerians houses, but livable and affordable ones.

Stressing on the importance President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) attaches to adequate shelter for Nigerians, Hon. Ojo reminded the Governor that Mr. President from his manifesto during the campaign had held housing very high in the welfarism theory. He said, therefore, in the fulfillment of that promise, he deemed it fit to appoint the new FHA management, which he is leading to go round the country for its holistic implementation and help fix the housing challenges of Nigerians.

Hon Ojo therefore told His Excellency Governor Muftwang that the Authority has come to request for land for the Renewed Hope project.
The MD declared the Authority's intentions to collaborate with the state in the designs and planning of the project, in line with the resolve of FHA management to consult with every state government before projects are sited.

In the words of the FHA boss, " we are not a management that would sit in Abuja and impose designs on the people of Plateau State. It is the people from the state that would live in the houses. That is why we want to consult with you because you know the culture and taste of your people better. "

The FHA boss also called on the governor to help FHA in the issue of settling compensation on the land, a matter he said is often complex and creates bottle necks, which His Excellency as the custodian of land and with his red biro can easily resolve.

According to Hon.Ojo, the Authority would also return some houses back to the State Government in lieu of the compensation for the people.

The MD also told the governor that FHA has a Diaspora initiative, where it would create a city within a city that can compete with any modern city anywhere. He said this would serve the interest of the people at the high end, while FHA builds for the masses.

The Authority would create such homes comparable with what we see in the high brow areas of Abuja and Lagos.

Hon Ojo also requested for the collaboration of the state government in providing off - takers for the houses to be built. He assured the governor of the role of the Authority’s mortgage bank; in providing mortgages.

On the delivery models to be adopted, he said the Authority would be delivering carcas, where only the exterior would be finished, with electricals and plumbing. There would also be One Bedrooms and Studio apartments for the benefit of Nigerians with lower financial capacity. Exposing The Many Lies Of Wanted Cyber Bully, Dorcas Adeyinka+ Her Failed Attempt To Blackmail The Odegbamis

The greatest threat to Nigeria's existence is not terrorism or corruption. Unknown to many people, the real threat to our country's continued existence is the emergence of agents of destruction disguising as bloggers dominating the Nigerian online space with fake news and outright disinformation. These so-called bloggers are everywhere - from Lagos to London and their mission is to cause havoc, and ultimately employ the use of blackmail to extort prominent individuals and celebrities. One of such purveyors of lies is the wanted fugitive named Dorcas Adeyinka, a United Kingdom, UK-based blogger who is notorious for cyber bullying and cyber-stalking. Dorcas Adeyinka is currently wanted by the Nigeria Police in connection with a case of cyber-stalking, abduction, murder, injurious falsehood, threat to life and extortion. The wanted blogger seems to have met her match in the current face-off with the prominent Odegbami family. She has been dragging the Odegbami's reputation in the mud through her online platforms over false claims of kidnapping, incest and ritual activities.

The Lies

Dorcas Adeyinka who is currently in hiding after jumping bail in February, 2024, had alleged that Princess Tolulope Odegbami and her iconic father, Chief Segun Odegbami of Green Eagles fame were involved in incest. She further alleged that the abominable act produced three children. Not done, she also accused Chief Odegbami of being a ritualist who has been using children under the care of Abike Jagaban Helping Hands Foundation, a non-governmental organization, NGO. According to the petition written by Baron & Stagger, the solicitors to the Odegbamis, Dorcas Adeyinka alongside her partners in crime - about eight bloggers claimed to have the sex escapades of Princess Tolulope with her father. The allegations were nothing but a tissue of lies.

Contrary to the falsehood being bandied about; Dorcas Adeyinka, the fleeing bully is the one really in the eye of the storm over involvement in the abduction and alleged murder of Folusho Olayinka. As the goes, Tolulope Odegbami through Abike Jagban Helping Hands Foundation was only trying to offer a helping hand before Dorcas Adeyinka came on stream with her blackmail. Setting the record straight, in 2022 Tolulope was contacted by CSP Margaret Igbodalo, the OC Gender of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, in Lagos to come over to the station. Upon her arrival at the station, she met a family comprising mother, father and children in company of another woman, one Jokotade Awodeyi who was accused of defrauding the family of six million. The susspect's husband was also arrested for sleeping with a minor. Tolulope representating Abike Jagban Helping Hands Foundation was invited by the Police to take the poor children under the care of their foundation. And she was given permission by the authorities involving the ministries of justice(Lagos State), domestic violence, the Nigerian NGOs and the house of assembly under one Hon. Victor Akande. Even the father of the children gave the foundation the go-ahead via an undertaking to care of the children. The brohuaha started when Dorcas Adeyinka emerged on the scene with her claims that Tolulope was into kidnaping, slavery and rituals in collaboration with her father, Chief Segun Odegbami. On her account of her false accusations, Tolulope was arrested more than nine times. Her last arrest was carried by the Department of State Security, DSS. Despite the intense cyber bulky and defamatory posts by Dorcas Adeyinka and her co-conspirators, Tolulope maintained her peace because the case was being investigated by the Police. Things took a worse turn when Dorcas Adeyinka who is the founder of Dorcas Adeyinka's Empowerment Foundation abducted children under the care of Abike Jagban Helping Hands Foundation all in the name of rescuing them without the permission of the kids' parents. The sad news is the unfortunate passing of Folusho Olayinka under the custody of Dorcas Adeyinka. While she was entangled in the alleged murder of Folusho Adekoya, she alleged attempted to dump the girl's corpse at her parents' house - the same parents whom she had no relationship whatsoever with. After intense efforts to get her arrested and prosecuted for her crimes - one of her evil gang was apprehended. Dorcas Adeyinka, too was eventually arrested but she jumped bail and fled to London in February, early this year. With backing from her alleged godmother, one Princess Rosemary Attu has been fingered as the mastermind behind Dorcas Adeyinka's blackmail and cyber-stalking. Dorcas is not alone - her team include one Adekoya who is her manager and other eight bloggers working in collaboration with her to defame and blackmail influential people with the sole aim of financial gains.

Politics"Grant Tax Waiver To Dangote Refinery To Subsidise Petrol & Diesel Prices", Roti by AmeboFeeds(op): 12:36pm On Apr 29, 2024
"Grant Tax Waiver To Dangote Refinery To Subsidise Petrol & Diesel Prices", Rotimi Makinde Begs FG

A former parliamentarian who represented Ife Federal Constituency in the 7th Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has appealed to the Federal government to develop a policy that would help in subsidizing petrol and diesel production at the Dangote refinery through introduction of tax waiver with the overall goal of making the products sell at lesser and affordable prices to Nigerians.

Makinde noted that such cushioning economic policy in the petroleum downstream value chain will make Dangote and other oil marketers ease the tension and volatility of petroleum products in the country, adding that the impact will directly yield multiple effects in the reduction of hardship Nigerians are facing whlle also pointing that instead of dishing out palliatives that are often going to wrong hands or being mismanaged by some governors, a tax waiver intervention will ultimately be the most satisfactory choice.

Speaking with some journalists at the local wing of the Lagos airport at the weekend Makinde assured that the tough phase in the country would only be temporary and that the government of President Bola Tinubu has remained resolute in putting the country back on track by injecting well thought out policies that will obliterate all socio-economic hurdles in the country.

"Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) touch all aspects of lives in our country, it could be industrially, commercially or domestically. Therefore its availability and affordability is very crucial and must be without glitch. However, to make our petroleum downstream value chain more robust and to also reduce hardship Nigerians are facing I think stakeholders should start looking inwards and this must be done as quickly as possible in the interest of the nation.

"I am of the view that Federal government needs to develop a policy that would help in subsidizing petrol and diesel production at the Dangote refinery through use of our local currency, which is naira, whereby a tax waiver intervention would be introduced with the overall goal of making the products sell at lesser and affordable prices to Nigerians.

"I was in that industry for more than 20 years so I have deeper understanding of how things work. The reality is that such cushioning economic policy in the petroleum downstream value chain will make marketers ease the tension and volatility of petroleum products in the country and it will directly yield multiple effects in the reduction of hardship Nigerians which Nigerians are facing. Instead of dishing out palliatives that are often going to wrong hands and some being mismanaged by some governors, a tax waiver intervention will ultimately be better.

"It shouldn't be out of place for the Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) through directive coming from President Bola Tinubu who doubles as Minister of Petroleum Resources to lissue a tax credit certificate to Dangote Oil Refinery so that Nigerians can get a breather.

"The government of President Bola Tinubu is no doubt resolute in it's commitment to put the country back on track by obliterating all socio-economic hurdles in the country, therefore stakeholders must work in synch with Mr. President's renewed hope agenda and revive the country back socio-economically. I am strongly confident that this measures would lead to long-term improvement and strikingly silence all the fifth columnists.

"Government must come to the reasoning that if we could encourage local investors to do the needful and of course under an agreement with some due monitoring and approvals then some of the challenges in the petroleum industry would be completely over. Tax waivers for some genuine investors isn't a new thing its a global phenomenon. Moreover, it will be in the interest of government that other investors, business entrepreneurs, companies take advantage of this key initiative such that Nigeria can develop faster than the government would have done alone.

"While it was true that the responsibility of providing petroleum products like PMS, AGO, DPK among others, was that of the government the prevailing economic realities had made that difficult to be achieved. To do it at the same time within the time that the public requires is often not possible and I think it is this kind of thing that will generate the need for the state to engage private actors to participate in the process in the larger interest of the citizenry." Makinde stated.

The Ife born politician also enjoined the government to have a rethink on how depots across the country will fully come back on stream and to as well redouble effort in ensuring petroleum products pipelines are properly policed to avoid incessant vandalism and theft, according to him measures like these will significantly help to ameliorate scarcity of the products among other challenges facing the downstream petroleum industry.

Makinde also in his patriotic call said government at a time like this should be able to encourage banks to create an enabling environment that would be able to make private handlers and investors in the oil and gas sector to have more of Dangote refineries in Nigeria.

Explainer! Adesuwa Renee Ogiozee: A Victim of Profiling

Adesuwa Renee Ogiozee, popularly known as the auto queen is arguably the biggest Nigerian female auto dealer in the United States of America, USA. She has carved a niche for herself in the global auto market. And with over 2,000 exotic automobiles sold worldwide, Renee motors and Logistics LLC, which was incorporated in 2016 has become the go-to auto brand for celebrities and people of means across the world. But greatness comes with envy. And it's really no shock that Adesuwa has had a fair share of her own moment of darkness over the last three years. The high-flying entrepreneur has been in the eye of the storm for allegations bordering on wrong doings.

The Background Story

Adesuwa became a news maker when news of her alleged involvement in a romance scam hit the social media space. It was reported that Adesuwa was alleged to have conspired with a customer who was involved in a romance scam with his lover without any evidence of her involvement.

The Truth

Simply, Adesuwa while trying to do what she knows how to do best - helping customer get the best auto money can buy around the world became a victim of a fall out between a client and his estranged lover. According to sources, Adesuwa's interaction with the customer was strictly about a car purchase. The customer who is alleged to be involved in a relationship gone wrong situation only contacted Adesuwa for a car purchase. Sources revealed that the customer purchased a car in the region of twelve thousand dollars eight years ago. And that was the only time Adesuwa was contacted by this particular customer. There was never a conversation between the customer and Adesuwa regarding his relationship with the estranged lover. Additionally, It is out of her brief to get involved in what's going on in the private life of her customers. For over a decade, she has successfully closed hundreds of car sales. Apart from having zero knowledge of the customer's involvement in any activities, Investigations revealed that Adesuwa has never spoken to the woman who is the lover of her customer; or gotten any payment from the woman neither was she aware of any form of relationship between the said woman and her customer.

In what can been described as foul profiling, Adesuwa is just another victim of profiling gone wrong. She was alleged to have conspired with one of her then customer who was involved in a 560,000 usd romance scam which was reported to be a loan her then customer took from his lover. Yet there was no evidence of Adesuwa's alleged involvement his. then the question is: Why is Adesuwa the main target in the whole charade and not the customer who is the main culprit?

According to sources, even before Adesuwa came into the picture, the customer who reportedly met his lover on eharmony already had their thing going on including exchange of funds 6months before the customer approached Adesuwa to help purchase a car. It remains a mystery how Adesuwa Rene is being punished for simply carrying out a car purchase. For over three years now, her reputation has been dragged in the mud for what is clearly a case of profiling gone wrong. However, Adesuwa is not giving up as a clear conscience fears no accusation.

By Tom Garba

A group under concerned citizens of Nigeria umbrella nation wide said the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr Nyesome Wike is punitive and capable to divide Nigeria along regional and ethnics lines.

The group during a world press conference with Dr Joseph Jabani to have addressed journalists at Carlton gate hotel FESTAC, Lagos cried for justice on behalf of Integrated Facilities Management Services Ltd ( IFMSL) Under the Good management of Its Managing Director Senator Abubakar Ahmed MoAllayidi whose contract with Abuja Investments Company Ltd (AICL) was illegally revoked.

Jabani said the implications of revoking the contract with IFML are dire, both domestically and internationally.

According to him domestically, it sends a message of instability and unpredictability to investors, shaking their confidence in the Nigerian government's commitment to honoring contracts and fostering a conducive business environment.

And the International implications according to Jabani it tarnishes Nigeria's reputation as a reliable partner for investment and collaboration.

"Overseas investors, who have been eyeing opportunities in Nigeria, may now reconsider their plans in light of this abrupt decision, leading to potential loss of investment and stunted economic growth." He said

Called President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate president, Speaker Federal House of Representatives, Traditional Leaders, Council of Oba’s chiefs southern Region and the good people of Nigeria, about the unfriendly and aggressive tactics employed by Barrister Nyesom Wike in superintending over the FCT.

"His pattern of finding faults and instigating conflicts with thriving businesses based on personal interests and differences is not only alarming but detrimental to the economic growth and stability of the FCT.

" We are calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and leaders of thought and good Nigerians to intervene in this matter and uphold the integrity of the contract with Integrated Facilities management services (IFML) Continuing the partnership with IFML is not just a matter of business but a demonstration of Nigeria's commitment to honoring agreements and fostering a conducive environment for both local and international investors.

"We call upon the government to uphold the principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability in governance and to ensure that individuals like Minister Wike, who prioritize personal interests over the welfare of the nation, are held accountable for their actions.

"It is imperative that we protect the interests of businesses and investors in the FCT and create an environment that fosters growth, innovation, and prosperity for all. Minister Wike's actions have no place in a government that seeks to promote progress and development, and it is time for the federal government to take decisive action to remedy this situation." Jabani Stated

The text signed by Jabani continued to read that:

"Wike's penchant for taking illegal and extra-judicial actions against businesses and individuals not only undermines the rule of law but also works directly against the interests of the federal government. His actions create an atmosphere of uncertainty and hostility that is detrimental to investment and development in the FCT.

"Nyesom Wike, in his usual combative style had announced in the media the purported cancellations of the facility management of the International Conference Center, for no justifications nor adherence to due process. Much as there was no justifications and fair-hearing, this purported action by Mr Wike is at best illegal, punitive, totally strange and at variance with any known protocols and procedures of handling such matters.

"For some years now, Integrated Facilities management services Limited (IFMSL) has diligently and effectively managed the International Conference Center, ensuring its smooth operation and upkeep. Under their stewardship, the center has flourished, becoming a beacon of excellence in hosting international conferences, events, and gatherings.

"The work of Integrated Facilities management services Ltd (IFMSL) has not only been exemplary but also crucial for the growth and development of Nigeria. Their dedication to maintaining the International Conference Center at the highest standards has attracted local and overseas investors, boosting economic activity and fostering international relations.

"The federal government must take swift and decisive make Barrister Wike to respect law and order, as well as contractual agreements and processes in the FCT ministry. Allowing him to continue unchecked will only lead to further erosion of investor confidence and cripple the potential for economic growth and prosperity in the federal capital territory.

"In conclusion, we further urge Mr. President to consider the long-term implications of this decision and act in the best interest of Nigeria's economic prosperity and international standing.
Thank you so much for coming."

PoliticsArewa Group Uncovers Wike's Underground Plans Of Working Against Tinubu In 2027 by AmeboFeeds(op): 8:41pm On Apr 17, 2024
Arewa group uncovers Wike's underground Plans of working against Tinubu in 2027

A Northern group under the auspices of Arewa New Agenda (ANA) blasted the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesome Wike as an intruder who is having vested interest in the political space of 2027.

The group said the dictatorial nature of Tinubu shown today with forceful takeover of International conference center (ICC) which is under the management of their leader, Sen. Ahmad Abubakar MoAllahyidi and incidentally is the Managing Director of Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd (IFMSL) – the contracting firm managing ICC was a pure disgrace of the tenets of democracy.

The group in a press conference in Abuja cautioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be wary about his political maneuvers that is pitching a tent of political allies to work against him.

Prof Usman A. K, ANA's Deputy Chairman addressed journalists on behalf of the group and reiterated that Wike is depicting the government of Tinubu in bad light and creating confusion where none exists.

According to him Minister Wike is an unrepentant member of the PDP who placed a curse on himself should he leave the PDP.

" Being in the main opposition party, he might as a presidential candidate of his party, be pitched against Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. Undermining the Tinubu administration the way he is currently doing therefore would, in such scenario, serve him well."

Usman described the administration of the FCT Minister as a Nepotism as a “Knight in Shining Armor”: Minister Wike’s Naked Dance in the Village Square.

He said ANA is known with a routine public engagement in support of the Tinubu Administration- going back several months before, during and after the 2023 Presidential election.

But he however said today's press conference is caused by a worrisome dimension that crept into the body-politic of the Tinubu administration and is eating deep like a cankerworm into the fabric of the nation destroying trust between the people and the APC led Federal Government.

The statement of the press conference reads as follows:

"The name Nyesom Wike has become synonymous with controversy and un-guarded pronouncements not-minding whose ox is gored and what the larger consequences may be. This summarizes the character of the person who sits as the Minister of the FCT in the current administration. As an outsider in government, ordinarily this man should have been the humblest man in this government with a pleasant disposition and kind words. This unfortunately is not the case. The case is that Wike is projecting himself as the lord of the manor and a knight in a shining armour driven by nepotism, conceitedness and narcissistic posturing.

"The Arewa New Agenda is not new to you gentlemen of the press. You will recall that long before the electioneering process for the 2023 general election took firm roots, ANA, in the spirit of fairness, has been in the forefront of projecting northern values of fairness, trust and friendship and rallying support of northern Nigeria for Tinubu. Data from the last six election cycles indicates that the north control 73% of votes that makes anyone President in Nigeria. Arewa New Agenda helped in getting majority of these votes for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last Presidential election in the country.

ANA is on record to have convened series of dialogue sessions to support key policies of the Tinubu Administration such as poverty reduction, peace and peaceful coexistence, removal of oil subsidy and benefits of the renewed hope agenda.

"ANA has been engaged in the support and promotion of good policies and actions of the Tinubu Administration under the leadership of our convener, Sen. Ahmad Abubakar MoAllahyidi who incidentally is the MD of Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd (IFMSL) – the contracting firm managing the International Conference Center in Abuja (The ICC).

"The minister of the FCT, in his usual element, recently took to the media saying he has revoked the management contract of the ICC and threatened to shut it down. This action of the minister is irregular, devoid of due process and without regard for fair hearing.

Minister Wike in purporting to terminate the management contract between IFMSL and Abuja Investments Company Limited (AICL) exhibits ignorance of what the ICC as a global standard Event Centre stands for. The ICC is the No. 1 event center in Nigeria. It is the go-to venue for international organizations having events in Nigeria. At the time of Wike’s purported revocation of Integrated Facility Managers management contract of the ICC, a number of international organizations have booked the ICC for their events. These bookings are for the whole year ending December 2024. The threat of the Minister to close down the ICC has impacted negatively on these bookings which are third-party contracts with clients locally and internationally. The threat also hampers international business; drives away foreign investment and kills growth and business prospects at a time the country needs these the most.

It is worth noting that the facility managers of the ICC – Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd, has remolded the ICC to meet global standards. By IFMSL remolding of the ICC, the Centre is now a flexible venue that can be customized to client’s specifications. The facility depicts opulence and refined aesthetics of the modern world.

"In the circumstance, it is very distressing hearing Wike saying he is going to renovate the ICC when no assessment has been carried out and no performance audit has been done in the ICC. As it stands today, the ICC is in its best form delivering first class and five-star services to its clients. To embark on a so-called renovation at this time is to engage in a wasteful exercise. If it is not broken, why mend it?

"We hasten to state that the ICC is managed by Integrated facility managers under a subsisting management contract with Abuja Investment Company ltd, that has provisions on how the contract could be terminated. Without recourse to the management contract provisions on termination, the FCT Minister took to the air announcing he has terminated the contract. This action of the minister is irregular, against fair hearing and the rule of law and unhelpful to the Tinubu administration. Simple: The FCT Minister cannot do what he is threatening to do because it is against the law, fair dealings and has no place in governance and service delivery.

The FCT Minister’s despotic and nepotic profiling of the north, going after the businesses and social interest of individuals and groups that are Bonafede APC members is unhelpful to the Tinubu administration and paints the picture of one undermining his master in a veiled effort to feather his political nest against 2027.

"By his actions, Minister Wike is pitching the Tinubu administration against Nigerian citizens by depicting the government in bad light and creating confusion where none exists. Minister Wike is an unrepentant member of the PDP who placed a curse on himself should he leave the PDP. Being in the main opposition party, he might as a presidential candidate of his party, be pitched against Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. Undermining the Tinubu administration the way he is currently doing therefore would, in such scenario, serve him well.

"By this we will go any length to seek for justice and fight for our rights. We are party men and women who supported this government against all odds yet what we see now is a show of hatred for those that love Tinubu and our Great. We can't accept these charades.

We are thinking in the same line with President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Housing Agenda - Governor Fubara

...As Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority,Hon Oyetunde Ojo visits Rivers State.

The Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, says Rivers State will fully support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

He disclosed this on Wednesday, 10th April, 2024 when the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Federal Housing Authority, Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo paid him a visit in continuation of the agency's consultation with State Governors towards the Renewed Hope Agenda programme of President Tinubu.

Hon. Ojo, in his address to the governor, commended him for the great sense of focus he has displayed in governance within the short period he assumed office.

The FHA Chief Executive listed out the Governor's infrastructural development, timely payment of pensioners, and enhanced security in the state, among other things, as the areas he has made instant marks in the state.

The MD informed Governor Fubara that the main reason for the visit was to bring President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda message on Housing to Rivers State, which is all about providing affordable houses to Nigerians, pointed out that the state is the thirteenth he is visiting with his team in under one month.

Hon. Ojo reiterated Mr. President's determination not only to tackle the nation's housing deficit, but giving Nigerians affordable and livable houses. According to him, "We bring you Mr President's mandate of Renewed Hope, which is affordable housing. Right now, in Nigeria, we lack adequate shelter, which is why the President has chosen us to help tackle the issue."

The FHA boss pointed out the strategic importance of Rivers State with its peculiar terrain to the economic life of the country and noted the need for affordable houses in the state for the good of the citizens.

The MD therefore told His Excellency, Governor Fubara, that the Authority has come to ask for land from Rivers State for the purpose of delivering the Renewed Hope Housing project.

Hon. Ojo explained to the Governor the new developmental inclusiveness policy of the FHA, where the Authority consults with the State Governments for inputs in designs before any project is sited. He said that the Authority would does not wish to stay in Abuja and design what they like for the people of Rivers.

In his words, the MD told the governor, "One of the reasons why we are here today is to solicit for land. We do not want you to just give us land. We want, like I said, to sit with your management team to come up with the right designs that will be tailored towards what the Rivers people need".

Hon. Ojo also informed the Governor of the Authority’s Diaspora City initiative, where a certain percentage of the land given for projects would be dedicated to building for our diasporians and other privileged Nigerians. This, he said, would benefit our people in diaspora, some of whom have fallen into the hands of fraudsters in their quest to have befitting accommodation back home.

FHA, the MD told Mr Governor, is in advanced discussion with the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission and the Federal Ministry of Tourism towards this. He noted that with the Authority’s digitization, the Diasporians would have seamless transaction with FHA from the comfort of their respective locations and also be able to monitor and track their investments.

Hon. Ojo also told Governor Fubara that FHA wants to capitalise on the value chain of construction to help fight inflation in the country. He noted that by the time these sporadic massive constructions would start across the country, numerous direct and indirect jobs would be created.

The Managing Director equally informed the Governor that most of the contracts would be given to contactors from Rivers State. This, he said, apart from helping boost the state's economy, would create a sense of ownership of the project, and the people would also know those to hold accountable.

The MD also emphasized the apolitical stand of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on this project. Mr. President, he noted, sees this as a critical Nigerian project devoid of political colouration. He noted further that the FHA team has visited 13 states that are APC, PDP, NNPP, and Labour Party controlled, pointing to the non-partisan nature of the Renewed Hope Agenda programme.

On the designs and models of delivery, Hon. Ojo told the governor that the Authority remains resolute in the decision to consider Nigerians in the lower rung of the economy by building Studio, One Bedroom apartments, and carcass. He maintained that expensive finishing would not be imposed on Nigerians. FHA would do a prototype exterior, plumbing, and electricals, while respective allottees would do the finishing according to their individual tastes and resources.

Finally, the MD informed His Excellency that the Authority has ready off - takers for the project and would also like the collaboration of the State in profiling off-takers . "We will make you proud. We will come back to sit with you once you give us land. We will call you for the ground breaking, and President Tinubu will surely be your guest". The MD concluded.

The governor, in his response, thanked the FHA team for coming to the state to discuss such an important issue of nation building. He thanked the President for the Renewed Hope initiative and expressed great concern over the issue of housing challenges in the country. In the Governor's words, "I am really happy this evening not minding the timing, to discuss such an important issue of nation building".

Governor Fubara noted that the issue of housing is becoming more challenging in the country due to high cost of living, and as such, all levels of government need to come down to tackle. "In our country today, because of the high cost of living, housing has become an issue, the medium income earner can not even afford them. All levels of government need to come down to tackle it." He opined.

The Governor noted that his government is thinking along the same line with Mr President. He said that they are thinking of making provision for all segments of the populace, including the civil servants, traders, taxi drivers etc. He said that "...receiving a delegation from FHA is cheering to us. I want to assure you that we will be part of this project." He noted.

The Governor expressed happiness for the proactive and business oriented disposition of the Authority's presentation, and reaffirmed his Government's commitment to work with FHA. In his words, "your demands are very simple. We are dealing with a team that is very serious to develop. They want the contractors to come from us. They want to partner us for off- takers. I want to assure you that we will work with you.''

Governor Fubara was also pleased with the Authority’s proposal to sit with the state for input in designs. He said it shows the seriousness FHA’s Management, that has great interest in its end product meeting the desires of those it is building for.

Finally, the Governor said, "I assure you of all the support you would need. Our message to the President is that we will support the project to be a successful legacy of his administration. " He concluded.

PoliticsRenewed Hope On Housing, Abia And Imo States Pledge To Support President Tinubu' by AmeboFeeds(op): 8:13pm On Apr 10, 2024
Renewed Hope on Housing, Abia and Imo States pledge to support President Tinubu's Agenda.

... As the MD, Federal Housing Authority, Hon Oyetunde Ojo commences his visit to the South East.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive, Federal Housing Authority, Hon Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, in continuation of his consultation of all the States in the country, Tuesday 10th May, 2024 led his Management Team on a visit to the Abia State Governor, His Excellency Dr. Alex Oti (OFR).

The FHA Chief Executive, in his opening address, informed the Governor that he has come to pay him a courtesy visit, and to also bring the Renewed Hope Agenda programme of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) to Abia State on Housing.

Hon Ojo commended Dr Oti for the land mark achievements his administration has recorded within a very short time. He specifically outlined such feats as: the Geometric Power Generating Station, the Cleaning of Aba township, as well as the State Government initiated Medical Mission among others.

On Mr President's Renewed Hope Agenda on Housing, the FHA Managing Director reiterated the message he has taken to the 11 other governors the Authority had earlier visited. He informed the governor that part of Mr. The president's mission is the need to provide shelter to Nigerians, which is one of the essential needs of man.

According to Hon Ojo, "Shelter is very essential in Mr. President's mission in Nigeria. That is why Mr. President, in his Renewed Hope Agenda, recognized housing as crucial to Nigerians. "

The MD therefore told Governor Oti that FHA has come to Abia State to ask for land to enable it to deliver President Tinubu's Agenda on Housing to the people of the state. In his words, Hon Ojo told the governor; "We want land. In doing this job, we have decided to move round to consult with the State Governors, who are the real owners of the land. "

The FHA boss stated that the days are gone when the Authority would take land and build without consulting with the states. He reeaffirmed the management's end-user driven policy of consulting the states for input in concepts and designs before projects are sited by the Authority in any state. "That is why we have come to you for land, to consult you for input and design. It is not people from Abuja or Lagos who will live here. It is people from Abia that will live here. We want to meet with your team to design what your people
want. " He added.

Hon. Ojo also said that FHA intends to capitalise on the value chain effect of construction to fight inflation and stimulate the economy. He pointed out that Mr. President has shown so much interest in this sector because of the impact building and infrastructure provision can have in the creation of jobs and revamping the economy." ... we will use contactors and workers from Abia State for this project. " He pointed out.

The MD further revealed the Authority’s plan of developing Diaspora cities, where Nigerians living abroad can live comfortably with standards comparable to anywhere in the world. This, he said, would save a lot of people in diaspora from the antics of fraudsters who have always defrauded them. He equally noted that with the full digitisation of the Authority, diasporians can transact with FHA from any part of the world from the comfort of their homes and even monitor their investments.

On some of the house types to be adopted, Hon. Ojo said that FHA would show considerable interest in Studio, One Bedroom apartments, and Carcass. The Authority, he said, is considering those in the lower rung of the economy ladders.

He pointed out that it is needless imposing such expensive and other luxurious finishing like tiles, ceilings, electrical / mechanical fittings, painting, etc, on people that make the cost of houses out of reach. Carcass, he said, will enable allottees to finish to their pockets capacities and taste, while FHA will provide basic plastered and floored prototype houses with plumbing and electrical reticulation

The FHA CEO finally requested for off - takers from the governor. He noted that the state has the data of her workers from which it can create an off-takers base.

The governor, in his response, thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for his vision to house Nigerians. While congratulating the MD and his team on their appointments. He also thanked the president for appointing them to executive positions they occupy.

According to His Excellency, Dr Oti, "Let me profoundly thank the President for his decision that Nigerians should have roofs over their heads." Continuing, he said, "I congratulate you on your apportionment. I thank Mr. President for making such a sound choice. Listening to you shows you know what you have come to do in FHA. "

Governor Oti noted that the housing programme of his government aligns with the vision of President Tinubu for Nigerians. He informed that the Abia State Government has only recently identified locations for Diaspora villages in the state. The governor said Abia State would partner with FHA and commended Management's decision to consult with the people before embarking on any project.

He also described the idea of using local contractors and workers for projects as commendable and a welcome development and promised to give FHA the best.

On the issue of off - takers, he noted how critical it is and pledged the state's support to FHA in that regard. According to him, "off - takers is very critical, but be sure you will not lack it. We can even decide to off - take and lift you off the burden. We agree with you on the model. We agreed with you on the joint venture, " he concluded.

The State Government finally announced that it has about 54 hectares of land ready for the Authority to take for immediate commencement of housing development.
The Managing Director and his team later were guests of His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.
Hon Ojo relayed the same President Tinubu's message to the governor. He informed the Governor Uzodinma of the Iron cast resolve of the President to tackle the country's Housing deficit by providing affordable and livable houses to Nigerians.
The MD told His Excellency, Governor Uzodinma, that Imo was the 12th State he is visiting with his team, which has cut across all politcal divides, ranging from APC, PDP, NNP and the Labour party states. This he noted under pins the apolitical stance of the Renewed Hope Agenda programme of the President, which is purely a Nigerian project that seeks to provide roof over the people's head irrespective of their political leanings.
Similarly, the FHA boss requested land and off takers from the state.
In his response, Governor Uzodinma, who described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a detribalised Nigerian, pledged to support the Renewed Hope programme of the President. He also pledged that Imo State government would partner with the Federal Housing Authority in providing affordable houses for the people of the state and profiling of the needed off takers for the project.

Politics"I'm Feeling For My People" —rotimi Makinde by AmeboFeeds(op): 10:59am On Apr 09, 2024
"I'm feeling for my people" —Rotimi Makinde

Ile Ife people and its environs cannot continue to be in opposition and expect much of federal government attention.

The community needs to begin to think straight, see the society first, rise above partisan politics and avoid unnecessary crisis , hate and mistakes for the next dispensation and misrepresentation at the federal level, state and local government level, a situation whereby outsiders sow seeds of discord among us to make us hate each others and for each lawmaker gets voted and would have no voice to canvass or lobby for something meaningful as a result of his or her lone voice is not the best...We need political power to transform the communities.

The politics of who get what at the State and National Assembly always start from home. Apart from deliberate effort in making sure the best candidate emerges in each of the political parties, we must also ensure the best among us emerges and representatives who will be there for the people at large make it in each of the elections be it at the governorship ,Senate, Reps or State assembly elections.

The community must deliberately jettison the habit of one term services or the act of pulling him down syndrome,if this untoward action continues ,we can never produce a governor, principal officer of any of the legislative houses in this manner let alone making our representative a potential speaker be it at the state or federal level...There's no two ways about this but to adopt a sincere purpose and principle of progress for the community.

"By God's grace ,I have been priviledged. It is never by my power but by devine intervention,we must close ranks, forgive and forget the past and the sins done on each other and begin to love our dear community with determination to forge ahead. It usually saddens my heart to recalled that over the years, two or three previous representatives which included myself and even the present serving lawmakers had no privilege to work with the ruling party which limited our influences".

According to him, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, Rt Hon Olubunmi Etteh, Rt Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Rt Hon Tajudeen Abass became speakers only because they were returning officers and all of these were made possible by their very people....No magic about that, the failure of any constituency not to cultivate such ideas is to create an avenue for each money bag opportunist as representative to continue to eat under the table and maybe to make something little only for themselves !.

Makinde who said he laughed when he sees people appreciating or envying those being mentor for governorship and lucky senators and members of the National Assembly that are embarking on massive and series of empowerments for their constituents. I can't help but feel sorry and pity my dear community and other noble communities that make it up the without genuine peace, unity and sincere love,we may remain a palace jester in Osun State politics

To the serving honourable, he can only work within his limited power !.
Honestly I used to feel sorry for the current serving representative whom i guess must be working like an elephant and returning to the society like an ant... It's more like a sin or a big crime to serve as an opposition or fresher in the National Assembly. The artificial discrimination and gab is damn too much...

In my own view, it is usually the lack of this awareness that is deprivinh many of our constituencies to remain backward. An adage says" It is the lack of unity of purpose among the reptiles that turned them into easy prey by human being".
If the most dangerous among the reptiles should lead them in a street walk, I am yet to know of any person who can have the effrontery to constitute a stumbling block to their passage, with unity and peace,Ife federal constituency can go places.

It is for this reason among others that it suffices to submit that the subsisting future political arrangement in Ife federal constituency of Osun State has become inevitable, if we truly wishes to reposition the cradle of Yoruba race...

On this note, I would like to see all leaders of our dear community to close ranks with serious intention to settle all issues and think of Ile Ife and its environment first and this involves all the political parties to begin to think positively.

"Half a word is enough for the wise".

Makinde hinted.
