Sorry to respond to you Oga. WHO is not made up of spirits. This is a novel virus so discoveries were made daily. It was just recently that it was discovered that covid19 spread by breathing and talking even for asymptomatic people. I followed WHO guidelines from Jan in China. For me their error was not declaring a pandemic early and getting world leaders to collaborate to end it in Wuhan. But why we have many deaths is more of our strong head in the face of danger. Italy and Spain playing matches in the midst of the spread. US,UK leaders playing down the menace,looking at economic losses,even our own Nigeria. So it is a collective mess up. Even with the new discovery countries have not made mask compulsory. Is WHO still to be blamed for it.

I'm not in health care profession but it is my view that Nigeria do not need the Chinese doctors now. Our doctors are doing well. If the Chinese come they will start claiming expatriates. Their view will be final making our people second class even where they are right. They may bring confusion. Start lording over. They will collect better welfare package. Except they are coming to give training,share experience and leave not taking over management of the patients.

We all channeled our thinking in this direction in the earlier days of this virus. However since it is not proven,we need to be careful with this hypothesis. People may throw caution to the wind banking on our hot weather and that will lead to a disaster. I agree with the fact that our government need to increase the number of people tested to beat this virus. Lockdown is only a temporary measure and can create other problems.

Thank you to all those on the frontline of this war. They know that they could be infected or even die but they are still there doing the work day and night. Even without the necessary weapon and protection,they risk it all for our sake. Thank you and please stay alive.
