Many of us medical practitioners are sick also, we also have co morbidities, because the job is a lot of stress. The job also makes us more prone to mental issues, depression and suicide. May be for political interested parties you should compare USA response during Ebola to the Covid19 response. That's the closest.

Only WHO can answer your question. However we know this is a novel virus and the post you quoted on Twitter it was written that research from experts in China. So it was not a WHO research but one shared with them by China. Also cutting funding will not hurt China but emerging economies in Africa and others. If someone needs to be hurt it has to be China.

My argument has always been WHO failed the world. However you don't take rash decisions like what Trump did in the midst of a pandemic. Not because of you (the the big economy) but because of others.
