This is Ambode

Ambode knows that the only way to make his people happy is to deliver on his campaign promises.

So Ambode does not have time to travel round the globe: He is in a hurry to develop his state.

Ambode is smart.

Be like Ambode.
This is normal with APC governors. Do gra-gra in your first term, then get re-elected for second term, then start looting. So all those praising Ambode should watch out for part II. Fashola, Oshomole, Ajimobi, etc, it is same pattern. This is the scam they sell to the South Westerners and they keep falling for it.
PoliticsRe: Photos From Ministry Of Finance Workers Protest Demanding Adeosun’s Removal by Amitex(m): 11:38pm On Jun 20, 2016
bloodyBLOGGER:
You are just a pained and bitter election loser who is angry that the beautiful brain of a woman is occupying the post formerly occupied by the CORRUPT ngozi okonjo iweala who allowed reckless looting of our national wealth.

Since Kemi Adeosun assumed office as finance minister, below are just a few of the things she has corrected which the the Harvard looter allowed to go unchecked.

Kemi adeosun

1. Gave 23 conditions to state to meet before getting bail out funds, conditions only corrupt free states can meet.

2. Stop the inflated salary of some military individuals.

3. Barred state governments from collecting loans from banks.

4. Weeded out thousands of ghost workers.

5. Implemented the TSA.

6. Rejected IMF loans.

7. Opened account for recovered loot.

Yet, a freak like you still call her clueless cos she stopped the unnecessary allowances these lazy workers enjoyed for years with no progress to our economy. As for the claim that she still gets her own allowances- well, that one is covered by the budget just as other ministers have it too.

What those lazy bums are requesting for is illegal cos the budget doesn't cover it.

NOI is a looter.
Who is this celebrating MEDIOCRITY? To open account and give conditions have become achievements in Nigeria. Tell me sir if you want to hire an Accounts Clerk in your small blogging business what achievements would you be looking out for if a minister achievements are these?

Ha, Nigeria don suffer!!!

By the way, remove BVN, TSA, IPPS that identified ghost workers. Those were NOI work. What do you have? Spiralling economic woes. You should be ashamed of attempting to defend FAILURE!!!

Many of the cases are still in court, you cannot just share evidence before securing conviction. Some Nigerians act like they have never been to school, smh.
Then they are NOT recovered loots but evidence of suspected corrupt practice. The cases could go either way and some may even outlive Buhari regime.

And so? It is just as Buhari is related to Daura. Daura is the head of DSS and he is the one calling people thieves just because they do not support Buhari Kachikwu's action just made Amaechi appear DUMB!

What the fuvk do you mean?? First, they are the ones making negotiation impossible blowing things up when the government observes a ceasefire. Secondly, if they wanna negotiate, they should be realistic with their demands.

Let them keep blowing things up and get on with the threat of killing their governors already. They are doing a fantastic job! grin
Did you ever read reports? FG declared ceasefire and same FG is busy raiding Ijaw communities. What were you expecting, a pat on the back. The thing has now spread to Akwa Ibom which to me is a bigger threat. Buhari should be realistic, it is either you negotiate or you militarised the region from Cross River to Ondo. I think the FG will need a huge resources for the latter.

Which corruption fight are you talking about? Seizing people's assets that will be returned to them by next government is what what you call fighting corruption? Go and check all those he siezed their assets in 1984. Let us stop being foolish, EFCC freezes a man's account or collect bail deposit and you call that recovery of loots. Hahahaha, no wonder they can continue to scam the gullible like you.
PoliticsRe: What Really Is Wrong With This Administration? Unlucky Or Incapable? by Amitex(m): 12:33am On Jun 12, 2016
Remember "Andrew do not check out" advert, it was as a result of Buhari's misrule. Many young graduates and upwards mobile Nigerians left Nigeria in droves. His policies destroyed the vibrant middle class. It got so bad that people were queueing for salt, sugar, etc. Rice, Garri, beans, etc. became luxury, soldiers were going to people's shops to force them to sell things at government controlled prices. As a small boy then, I knew it was tough!!! Though IBB was not the best, but when Buhari was overthrown, there was jubilation across Nigeria. The only other time Nigerians jubilated at the removal or death of Head of State was during the time of Abacha. Incidentally, Buhari was also a key figure in that regime.

During the last elections, the youths were so carried away with Osinbajo change story that they refused to look at who actually was going to be in charge. If Nigerians rejected Buhari for three consecutive elections, you would wonder why they suddenly felt he was the best. Check this, ever since Buhari left office, all he ever did was contest elections. His herds of cattle remained largely 150 for many decades. He never improved himself academically, nor socially. Never presented any papers nor offered any policy statement on national development, except political threats and religious bigotry. He never incorporated any companies nor employed anyone, except the ones employed by government for him as former Head of State. For us to look up to someone with 1961 G4 or Attempted WASC to solve Nigeria's problem in 2016, beats my imagination. The Tinubu's, Amaechi's and Obasanjos felt that they wanted to remain in power hence this mess.

So, to answer you OP, this administration is utterly incompetent. Take for example the manipulation of the forex system and stranglehold on the free market. That action alone killed the economy. Buhari thought that what operated in 1984 when politicians hid dollars in their bedroom still operated in 2015/16. Those who knew him already moved their funds off-shore, so his policy only killed the petty traders. Like someone said, all EFCC is doing is debt collection not fighting any corruption. Those who stole real money are still on the loose and are stealing more. Talk of padded budgets, dichotomy in exchange rates, etc.
People forget that this government was elected on March 29, 2015, by April 1, they already knew they were going to govern. A good leader chose his team before inauguration. Case of Trudeau of Canada, but Buhari took 180 days to present a bunch of recycled "noise makers". Like someone said, point out a technocrat in this government. None. Imagine making Fashola, a lawyer to head 3 Super ministries of Housing, Power and Works. Where do you place the seasoned engineers? He could have made a journalist the minister of Health altogether. What is worse, he appointed a neophyte as Minister of Finance. Being a commissioner is just any qualified accountant's job unlike Finance Minister who make economic policies.
Worst part is that Buhari kept making unguarded and divisive statements and carried on like a dictator. I do not envy those that supported this APC government.
Sincerely many of them would be regretting it. Somehow, it is also good that Buhari won the elections and Jonathan handed over peacefully, if not, by now the saying would have been "IF BUHARI HAD WON, WE WOULD BE ENJOYING ELDORALDO"

PoliticsNDA Vs FGN - The Way Forward by Amitex(op): 4:44am On Jun 10, 2016
Let me use this medium to appeal to NDA to give the government proposed dialogue a chance. It is true that successive Nigerian governments have not been trustworthy, they should be given a chance to look at the issues and grievances raised by NDA.

Government on the other hand should be sincere for once. It is not about giving contracts to a few individuals, it goes beyond that. Government should show commitment by first re-opening the Maritime University. They can make Oron a Campus of the university and push for the speedy enactment of the PIB and ensure that at least host communities benefit from oil revenue. These quick-wins would allow for further improvements in the lives and ecosystem of the ND region. There should be deliberate government effort to develop the ND. If the government can budget $5b to rebuild NE deliberately destroyed by the people of the region, nothing stops the government from Budgeting at least $20b to develop key infrastructure in ND. Sending military tanks can never solved anything. At least we can all see that nothing is being achieved on that front.

Reasoning and dialogue based on openness and sincerity is what is needed at this time of our nationhood.

NLC should go and sit down joor! Na so them boast over fuel increase, where are they on that? Banks have not sacked any staff but only eliminating "ghost workers" just as the Federal Government is doing. What has NLC done about the 45000 staff sacked by FG and termed them ghost workers?
PoliticsLike FG, Bank Are Not Sacking...but by Amitex(op): 11:21pm On Jun 09, 2016
I think the recent statement by Labour Minister is misplaced. Truth is that banks are not sacking their staff as the minister wants Nigerians to believe. All the banks are doing is to conduct staff audits. Like the FG, where they discover "ghost workers", those ghost workers are removed. So far banks have discovered about 4000 of such while the FG have discovered over 45,000.

What is good for the FG is also good for the banks. grin

gartamanta:
The confab report, while having the best intentions, is a waste of time. The main crux of that report is the return of Nigeria to regionalism and true federalism. Since it is a well known fact that the North is staunchly against regionalism, just how is it going to be achieved? The North will vote out any bill for Regionalism so what is the point. Another thing I find hypocritcal about Yorubas is that they claim to want regionalism but the colluded with their northern friends to entrench unitary rule under Gowon
So were the North not at the CONFAB? Did they not participate in the discussions!? Merely wishing away the obvious is the bane of Nigeria. Until we wake up to reality, I am sorry the peace we seek may remain elusive.

White007:
#Buhari, A Prodigal Son. #BuhariWasted365Days.
For President Buhari and his supporters, they thought that this day will Never come. Anniversary of Buhari's a Year In Office.
Buhari was handed over:-
- $30billion in our Foreign Reserves,
- $2.5billion Sovereign Wealth Fund,
- $1.4billion in the ECA,
- $4.65b back taxes from NLNG.
- Buhari met an approved budget of N4.5trillion Budget.

Received Below within a year,
- $2.7billion collected by Inland Revenue in his first 8 months.
- $2.1billion world bank loan.
- $850million Grants from UK, USA and Europe.
- Excluding crude oil sales, Joint Venture profits, Royalties, Income from Customs, NIMMSA, NPA, NACHO ......

A year have passed this morning.
1] Not a kilometer of road was constructed,
2] Not a watt of Electricity generated,
3] Not a Ward was added to any Hospital in Nigeria.
4] Not a job space was created, excepted the CBN job he shared with his cronies.
5] Not a grain of Corn or tomatoes seed was Provided to our farmers. [Fertilizer subsidy taken away and handed back to ex-military men],
6] 41 foreign companies mostly in service industry left the country.
7] 4.3 Million jobs lost in 10months - National Bureau of Statistics.
8] Food scarcity last experienced in Nigeria between 1983 to 1985 returned back to the country.
9] War on Corruption turned to war against his perceived enemies, any conviction by EFCC are cases meticulously started by previous govt(s). Buhari only win cases on pages of Newspapers.
10] Nigeria dropped from No.1 Investment destination in Africa to No.27 before South Sudan.
11] African Biggest economy shrink from a GDP of about 7% to -0.36%, the fastest decline in the world since record begins.
12] No.3 fastest growing economy in the world to No.83 in 365days.
13] WAR ON TERROR.
The last 3 LGAs under Boko Haram in Feb 2015, Abadam, Kala-Balge and Gwoza where all recovered before the general election and Buhari's ill-advised policy of banning Road blocks lead to Boko haram recovering more LGAs and have the potency to attack.

Buhari have all on his hand to succeed, but the extravagant President squandered all the funds, goodwill, and only delivered hardship to Nigerians in his first #365days.
As the Biblical Prodigal son, Buhari #Wasted all the Ntrillion handed over to him. His Body language, Lies and Propaganda lost its potency about 6 months ago as the pains of his incompetence is felt by both the 97% and 5%.
NO EXCUSE IS ENOUGH, HE WASTED THE 365DAYS.

So NOTHING GOOD came from Buhari's 365 gays in office. Punch is even liberal in awarding Buhari "Fair" in Agric and Railways.
When Tomatoes have become essential commodity, how did Buhari achieve fair on that. On railway, what has Buhari done or added to the infrastructure received from Jonathan?

As far as I am concerned Buhari wasted 365 days chasing shadows, while the big ticket items were collapsing? We are back to 1984/85 locust years.
