Well everybody speaks pidgin English here in Nigeria. The problems is the way and manner the person speaks it. There are some cool pidgin and some very "razz" ones especially the slangs.
But if it's just the regular pidgin, I don't think I'll have a problem with it. My main concern will be his choice of words.

In this hostile economy na does not work that way... In Nigeria the gentlemen usually take care of the ladies financially and materially but I still believe we have quite a few ladies who are independent (They save a lot of stress)

Omg. My mum bought one new tomato paste from the market two days ago. We have not seen it before. And since we used it in making stew, everybody has been pooing up until now
