These days, people expecially girls grow older or bigger than their age. Take a look at the kids born in the 1990s 91 2 3 4 5 6............ They all look older than their age, And I'm sure some people here have siblings that are 15 but look 20 or 21, so we shouldn't judge abeg. Like some months back, my aunt was insulting a lady just cause the lady said she is 20 and my aunt felt she is more.I just told her " mummy ×××× look at your daughter, she is just 17 and she is even looking way older than this lady here and even yourself. Who will believe xxxx is just 17 " She felt embarrassed but it was the truth. Iv seen 16year olds looking like they are in their early 20s (different factors contribute to this, like food, body development and makeup)Another reason why I feel people don't believe the age of others is Achievement. You will agree with me that in Nigeria, it takes looooong to achieve something reasonable or something you can be proud of for most people. Now people that fall into this category find it hard to believe someone very young has achieved what they are still struggling to achieve (media recognition especially ) so when they hear you are in your 20s they just see it as impossible. It's some sort of default. |
No child is dumb. And patience is key when dealing with children especially "challenged" ones We all have that star in us. |
latinoKingdom:I think you should digest my post well. |
latinoKingdom:how about he keeps his money? (this is actually the root of women's problem )Cooking for your bf because you feel like is not wrong. But cooking for him because he feels it's his right is the issue. |
I don't mind wearing the cupcake dress, so long I get to eat then alone ![]() |

Rajosh:oh, ok... I attended FGC daura, JSS 1-3 tho |
nasha1:heheeheh @ OP, NL is just a play ground. Don't expect anything, just come and play too and go ![]() But we have some VERY FEW ones tho... (10% of NL members ) the rest are either emotionally wounded, that come here to vent. Or have complex issues in real life, NL is their saving grace because they get to meet like minds as themselves and they flow (that's how they survive) so you can't really blame anyone... |
openmine:do you have to chat with EVERY person on your FB list? No, I don't think so... and as to why she accepted, like I said in my comment initially, people have different reasons for accepting or sending out friend requests. |
Conduct a one on one research to know why ![]() |
I don't know why I find this post somehow. I mean, she came to you of all the people in her life? (This doesn't just add up) And I don't think chatting is by force. You sent her the 1st chat, she saw and ignored. 2nd same thing. Honestly I think the problem here is you. You took chatting with her a do or die affair. And her only fault was replying you with insults. Ideally, when you asked her why she accepted your friend request since she wasn't replying your chats, what she would have done is simply Unfriend you. And that should solve the problem. Her, insulting you was uncalled for. And please, people accept friend requests for different reasons. It's not everyone you send a request to you feel you must chat with. FB is very large. I for instance, put alot of things into consideration before accepting a friend request or sending one. I might like your writeups, your views on life or things in general. So it doesn't mean I want to have a one on one relationship or even conversation with you. So I think you were actually the problem and you brought the insult upon yourself. You should have forgotten about her the moment she ignored your 2nd chat. Life is simple, let's not complicate things for ourselves ![]() Alexisgist |
glowithdan:good morning sir |
Lol, we just bring out humour in every pressing issue which is good anyway.. ![]() |
But its not a crime if the lady has all the comfort by herself. She doesn't have to wait for a man to do that for her. |
halfricanadian:toh, happy birthday to you and your school of thought, whatever rocks your boat ![]() |
halfricanadian:with the wrong person YES but with the right person, it's bliss |
halfricanadian:that's the personal experience I'm talking about. Since you don't believe in love, you tend to advise him towards your line of believe which might be misleading. I for instance will choose respect over love. (That doesn't mean I don't believe in love even tho iv been hurt a few times, ) The OP should just trust his heart |
ijaya1:and why can't a 21 year old fit into your age? When in search for love, don't listen to people.. They probably will be talking from their own experience. And the fact it went wrong with them doesn't mean it won't go well for you. Be focus and don't be desperate. It's never a competition, so relax and look well. (Pray too) forever is too long to be stuck with the wrong person... so choose wisely ![]() |
This is the business section tho. (Or is marriage now a business )Anyways, back to the topic, and why can't a 21 year old fit into your age? When in search for love, don't listen to people.. chigoizie7:she held her head hight with dignity in the presence of the guy and she didn't even bother to confront the girl she met at his house or challenge her to a fight. That's what matter here! So even if she cried, she did the right thing. She will not cry forever |
