Empero1: The truth of the matter is that someone like this Amachi is fighting what was not existing. According to her they are fighting for "The state in which rights and opportunities are not affected by gender." Since when did altruistic men and sane society started denying women their rights and opportunities?
Well, it's obvious she and her ilks are fighting for right and opportunity to dominate men: like wishing to be the first among equals when in a romantic/marriage relationship - and access to unmerited favors: like giving them political appointments which they didn't fight for. ... something like power is fought for and never given to.
The last time I checked, no altruistic and sane Nigerian man (at least in this present age, except for some religious sects who are to be blamed) ever denies his female child an access to education, cajole a female child to marry whom she doesn't like, prevents from attaining political heights of her choice etc.
I remain an egalitarian. However, in romantic /marriage relationship a man should naturally assumes a first among equals role, but without subjecting his partner to slavery.
In the other hand, in any other realm, either of the gender who's better informed and prepared should be allowed to assume a first among equals position, yet without subjecting the other /others to any form of slavery. God bless you! |

WeNoGoDie: If every well to do Nigerian can do this for just one beggar, just one single beggar to each elite Nigerian, there'll be no single beggar on our streets.
What we have are men that will spend millions on an already well to do droves girlfriends and flashy cars and women and ladies that'll spend millions to buy attachments, designer bags, jewelry and fashion while a fraction of that money can change the destiny of hundreds of suffering people. What has the rich got to do with this?this young man isn't rich, but he gave the little he could! Stop choosing people's charity for them, choose yours |

I believe strongly that this woman wld still go back to live with with this insane man. They call it love no they call it "making my marriage work" smh.. if you talk now, they will think someone is a feminist. But how do we explain this And the husband should not even say the normal "it is the devil's work" because he is the devil here |

You are here now forming boss because she came to beg you without considering the hurtful things you said to her too that made her say those words to you. her only crime was letting him spend on her. I'm sure if that was not there, he won't open this thread. He is permitted to feel like a "boss" |

Laziness is all I see.... people do dry fasting for 3 days nothing happens. Alot of people don't eat lunch, not that they are fasting, it's already part of them. So why the preferential treatment? Anyways, I'm not surprised. I'm sure this is going to be implemented only in the core northern camps. That was how my colleagues was just pushing his work to me asking me to please help him, in his words "you know I'm fasting" (I wanted to even help but because of that statement I changed my mind) I was pissed what nonsense And it was just a little past 11 for God's sake! I just told him "didn't you eat in the morning?? iv not had anything to eat since last night, and I don't intend eating anytime soon because I still have a lot to do! did you see me acting like the world is about to crumble on me??" He was just looking at me like a statue. Is just annoying, don't use yur religion to inconvenience anybody. Fasting or not should be between you and your God. Any small thing, they will say "Azimi ne" |

Women hates their fellow women...why? pure jealousy. If they can't be like you, they claim they have more than you and pull you down with everything they have got. The funny thing about it is that, it's an interview (not even in Nigeria ) and they are here hating.they should channel their grudges to the OP that made the interview his business. |
