Some states are not even paying the 30k minimum wage currently since it was increased in 2019.

What the FG should've done is devolve the minimum wage committee into FG and States. Let FG and the private sector deal with the national leadership of NLC and TUC for minimum wage for federal workers and private entities.
I agree with you on this as many states are financially insolvent and also cost of living differs across different states, so you can't expect states with meagre finance and low cost of living to pay same as states with rich purse and high cost of living. FG, NLC/TUC should come up with a more workable solution instead of this generalized offers they're presenting on the negotiation table.

Each state can then negotiate their own minimum wage also with the state chapter of the NLC and TUC, that way we can quickly resolve this minimum wage wahala everytime.

A state like Ekiti or Osun cant pay the same minimum wage that Lagos or Ogun can pay and it makes no sense to use the same law for them, it's what's always dragging that negotiations.

I believe the 60k is low for the FG also, should be at least 100k but the states can't pay that and how many businesses can afford to pay it without having to lay off employees?

I cant help feeling like Pep made a huge mistake with Palmer. I guess Ice Cold was a victim of Grealish being a senior man in the dressing room, and that has cost City the chance to have Palmer, Foden and Silva behind Haaland.

Maybe Pep felt it would be too many lefties. Or maybe Palmer and Foden might want to occupy the same spaces on the pitch.

Either way their loss has been our tremendous gain.

The problem is you misunderstand the whole premise of the debate. It comes down to two important factors.

1. No one is saying that Jackson is better than Vlahovic. At least, not at this point. But statistically, at this moment, no one can tell me that Vlahovic is better than Jackson. Jackson plays is a pacier league, Vlahovic does not. While Vlahovic is trying to adjust to the pace, Jackson already registered 13, and even missing a ton of chances.

2. In terms of value for money, based on last year's figures, Jackson was significantly the better buy. Jackson cost £30m and produced 13 non-penalty goals. Vlahovic would have cost nearly £90m. If he's not scoring 39 goals by comparison per season, then it's wasted money.

It does not matter what Juve would or would not do. I was here in Drogba's first 2 seasons. You should see the abuse. Juve would not have bought Drogba off his first season performance.
