Godx:Expected earnings doesn't translate to earnings when you dont earn anything. Just because xg says that 8 out 10 times will go in if you don't score them the xg is useless. What's the xg of Kolo Muani's shot that was saved by Martinez in WC finals? XG doesnt mean anything |
Godx:I can say according to expected earnings youre richer than Elon Musk but, the question is are you richer than Elon? Odds dont win games or score goals you have to do the job |
Vischy:Foden is a better player than Palmer no doubt but putting his achievements below that of Foden citing PK taken as excuse wont fly. Palmer posted good numbers in his first season in a new club |
Godx:Forget XG a penalty scored is a good penalty xg no matter, according to xg Chelsea is supposed to be in UCL but Jackson and Sterling happened and we are set to play qualifiers against some plumbers in Eastern Europe to play Conference League. |
Hensben Pep has been using 3 atb since his Barça days |
Godx:If penalties were that easy to convert City would have edged it against Madrid and advance to the semis. We have seen players miss penalties regardless of what XG says about them. That Foden isnt good at PK is no Palmer's fault. |
oliverano:This season in EPL has the highest goals contribution in his breakout season, had it not been for Chelsea inconsistency he would've won both Young Player and PFA POTY awards ahead of Foden. When they met this season he outshined Foden but Jackson happened |
Okpa why do you like deviating from topic of discussion with snide remarks? |
nateevs:I beg to disagree, both tactics and players are to be blamed for missing out on top 5. At a point we had to name kids and 3 goalkeepers due to injuries and suspensions, in some games the players let the coach down especially in the Carabao Cup final and FA semifinal against City. There is no way you are going to maintain consistency necessary for a top 5 push with bunch of players blowing hot and cold every matchday, the near consistent performers were Palmer, Gallagher, Gusto and to some extent Caicedo. How can a team perform regularly with this combo of problems tactically naive coach and subpar players? |
I remember asking for expectations to be lowered right from the outset stating that majority of our signings are inexperienced and not up to par while the good ones are on the treatment table, but the euphoria of preseason performance clouded the judgement of many here with some even saying we are set to knock Pep off his perch. Now, we are in the wilderness without a guide. |
Griffon:Let them go for Tedesco or hire from the club youth coaches. |
I won't mind a Domenico Tedesco at Chelsea he is young and a brilliant tactician, the problem is will Belgium, allow him to leave? |
At this point, is coastal road our problem? We have Federal Highways in bad state that fixing them would have reduced travel time and reduce insecurity along those routes. But here we are spending scarce resources in perhaps another white elephant project that may be abandoned by subsequent administration giving our history. |
The inevitability of truth. |
Sarajevo, Austro-Hungarian Empire. |
BlueRayDick:I no get strength to argue |
An acquaintance who is working with Dangote Refinery said that some of the employees were sabotaging the man's efforts by stealing equipments, supplying substandard products, and financial misappropriation were rampant these were the reasons for the delays and setbacks |
popizaino:Despite the visible progress the team has made in recent weeks and lack of better alternatives to hire as his replacement? |
Popizaino are you still PochOut? |

larride:Alhamdulillah, I'm fine. And you? |
popizaino:What do you want me to get updated about? Your face-saving attempt won't save you from your previous goof in recommending your fave |
Shaykh Oasis, you get stamina. |
When I cautioned against heightened expectations in the beginning many thought I was pessimistic, especially Popizaino the numero Uno supporter of Poch. Poch has used the Gacon test to derail our season by running our fragile players into the ground coupled with his subpar tactical setup and in-game management. |
Pochettino should be allowed to complete his contract |
........... |
larride:Thanks for your concern, I'm hale and hearty. Trust you are good, too? |
Shaykh Oasisx I hail thee. |
Palmer has gone level with Christian Pulisic for the most goals scored (9) in a single Premier League season by a Chelsea player aged 21 or under. Pulisic achieved the feat during the 2019/20 campaign; Palmer has the remainder of the top-flight campaign to claim the record outright. ~ @ChelseaFC |
