Nice read.. Most Big foreign Multinationals reward performance and results. You steadily move up the ranks as you put in the time and work. Most I like about them is the training and exposure they avail to you. You get exposed to very bright minds that are boiling hot with strategies and ideas. They don't play with training and are abreast of the latest trends in their industry. I've been fortunate to work with 2 multinationals and based on experience, I'll tell you it has been very worthwhile so far. This write up reminds me of our former CEO, similar grass to grace come up. He started his career as a Merchandiser for P & G in the early 90s , as of today he is a former CEO of 3 Big Multinationals across two industries. You would think he doesn't know your terrain, but when he starts dishing out knowledge, the whole room would keep quiet and take notes. GOALS!!! We will keep grinding.. |

Arrewa: Nairaland they are not bandit but kidnapers!!
For those guys up there shouting on top of their voice that northerners Nigeria is this and that...
We have kidnapers in every state in Nigeria including Abuja...
Kano is not the first state in Nigeria Someone was kidnapped by gun men...it is happening even in Abuja and Lagos.
This is the kind of news coming from the north that will hit the front page within a blink of an eye.
I posted a news of a great inventor from the north who invented ventilator and sweeping machine since morning instead of making the front page...
It was dump in religion section

How do you put a Yoruba Southerner as head and have him surrounded by northern vipers. A very difficult position aimed at strangulating his effectiveness.
Make no mistake, an average northerner does not like to serve under a southerner. He prefers to be surrounded by smart Southerners while he sits at the top.

chiemmanuel: I know what I meant, and you can't force something on me I didn't say, your dictionary is your friend, check the meaning of tribalist, That means all news outlets are tribalistic for mentioning locations events and crimes took place Get a grip dude, when you want to banter, be sure of your knowledge You deviated from a topic and called a whole region out to make a point. Only you in the whole thread. What you even pointed out has nothing to do with the discussion. Out of all the regions to make example with, for some reason North was more randomly comfortable enough for you to mention. I laff News outlets mention news from all regions. That's what they do. No need for banter. It is what it is. Forget long story. You're a Tribalist. |

omenka: You don't get it bro. If Buhari had, from the word go, put his feet on the ground, dealing decisively with errant appointees, going forward, others would have been discouraged from putting their filthy hands in the cookie jar. He failed to do that!
That flop somehow emboldened would-be crooks to do what they've been and are found doing.
Anticorruption fight shouldn't be only be about taking actions after the deeds have been done (even on this, very minuscule progress has been made), is should ESPECIALLY be about PREVENTING those acts of corruption.
It is just like the bible admonished: spare the rod and spoil the child. Buhari spared the rod, and the child unavoidably became spoilt.
This is just the truth. Thank you. That's a beautiful summary of current events. If he had dealt decisively with a few of them from the Onset , esp perceived VIP/untouchable's, the rest would be reluctant misbehaving anyhow. Now everyone is just dipping their hands into the pot doing anyhow. Business as usual. |
