Yeah!

You can't fathom or do not want to accept the truth?

The Word of God apparently means different things to the both of us, because the Word of God to me are the Words of the Kingdom of God that Jesus brought to mankind on the instruction of the Father in heaven. (Jn 17)

So if the Bible is the word of God to you, then Bible luck to you.

p.s. amyblessed is still my good friend whether she likes it or not! cheesy
Not that I dont want to agree with the truth, I just cant figure your intent for writing this. I will only agree with any truth when I understand it, i.e if its actually a truth.

#smiles# Disagreement concerning some areas of the Word of God does not make us enemies. We only disagreed to agree. #stillfriends

Yeah!

And yet some pencils in the hands of the Artist would begin to think that they are the ones that should dictate to the Artist and determines which pencils He uses for His drawings, and how He uses them for his drawings, and the kind of pictures He uses them to draw?

Maybe such pencils think they know better than the artist, and hence have shown that they do not really care about the artist or truly have His interest at heart, that's if He gets the glory He deserves for His drawings, but only care about themselves in truth!

Hence before they should concern themselves about the other pencils, they should first of all remove that mountain in their pencil eyes to enable them see more clearly the mole in the eye of other pencils, and hence be able to remove them.

I lack words for your write up because I cant fathom what you are insinuating. However, your thoughts remains your thoughts and the Word of God remains the Word of God. It doesn't change because of anyone no matter how one tries to twist it. Thanks
Christianity EtcDon't Spray Perfume, But Flush! by amyblessed(op):
Away from the election brouhaha and back to Daddy's business.
Sometime ago, we had a problem with our light, therefore we could not pump water. We resorted to going out to buy water. On one of the days, the only people selling water in our neighbourhood weren't around, and we had just a little water left in the house. Consequently, the unpleasant smell of urine oozed out from the toilets into the house, the normal thing being to flush after urinating. My brother went and brought perfume and sprayed everywhere and the smell subsided, the whole house was filled with the good aroma. But guess what, in less than an hour, the odour overpowered the good aroma and came back with full force. It then dawned on us that the only solution was to flush and not to spray perfume. And God thought me a lesson from that.
As Christians, there are certain bad characters or habits in our lives that we don't need to cover up, but to flush it, that is, deal with it. You may find yourself in a bad habit which you always try to cover up so that people wont know you are involved in such a thing, or that pastor won't know. Or it may be something you did that you thought nobody saw you, therefore you smartly covered it up, forgetting that the Eyes that go tro and fro the earth saw you. But if I may ask, for how long do you think you can cover up that habit or that thing. You may succeed in covering it for sometime, maybe years, but it is sure to come out as the Bible said in Num 32:23b "...and be sure your sin will find you out."
Instead of allowing that sin to find you out, that is, disgrace you, find it out and deal with it. Disgrace the devil before he disgraces you. Instead of covering it like we tried to cover the bad smell, flush that character, bad habit or whatever it may be out of your life. I sure know it's not easy, but you can do it with the help of God, just ask Him to help you.
Christianity EtcRe: Reviving Announcement : Operation Pray & Vote (reason for The Countdown Prayers) by amyblessed(f): 11:18am On Feb 18, 2019
TheRevivalist:
Reviving Announcement: Reason for the Countdown Prayers for Nigeria and Her Elections.
Don't let anyone tell you Prayers are not what Nigeria needs now. Our case has gone beyond physically or earthly solutions, prayers of the past and present has Been responsible for the peace we are enjoying today. Prayers are never too much !! As believers that's the only weapon we have over these selfish politicians and tyrants in power. Our votes counts yes!! But let's back them up with prayers so we wouldn't fall into the wrong hands again. Or didn't the vote count previously? Or hasn't it been countinghuh But still the situation doesn't change. Only prayers can keep us, save us and avert any evil agenda the devil has for this nation. Let's stop taking God out of the picture, expecting him to make things right!! Let's honor Him by seeking first His face and do the needful. Because as it stands its only Him that knows the heart of all these promising politicians and by going to Him to seek Divine Intervention, He will surely open our eyes to see this truth.
In the case of a country like Nigeria and her elections, it's good to apply wisdom and work with God.
What do I mean? We all know killings, violence, riggings and even POSTPONMENT is not new in it. What's the essence of going to vote without God's consent when 30 pecent of your life is @ risk, 20 pecent of the possibility of your vote could be stolen amongst others in the ballot box, 20 pecent possibility of the polling day could be postponed and 30 pecent of the fact that the results could be manipulated into the favor of the wrong candidatehuh?? This is where PRAYER is important!!!!! And why it comes in!!
Regardless of what the devil and his agents are planning, Prayer is a Game Changer!!
Am of two things basically, which are :
- Pray and Vote
- If you can't Vote then Pray
Just make sure you seek God's face first before anything!!!. Spirituality pays! And For those who has always been spiritual, none of this is new to them, some even know the results already. Spirituality will help you be ahead. Our prayers as believers goes a long way and helps a lot of people. Just so you know the countdown prayers are given by the HolySpirit, take your time to study them.
It might be something tragic is about to happen today and because of the prayers of some christians, God averted it. Nothing done under the sun happens without the notice of God!! While people are angry and the evil onces think they have done themselves a favor by this postponement, God will do something good and beneficial out of it. Who knows if the wrong candidate would have won today? And the right one on sathuh Let's just thank God, continue praying and be careful of how we join rants. Do you know if it's because of you or someone close to you that it was postponed? Let's do the needful and perform our civil rights when due.
TheChurchMustVote, so does everyone have to. But please let's WATCH, PRAY & VOTE Wisely. With prayers God will protect you, your vote and even tell you who or where to cast your vote. That's the reason for the countdown prayers.

The elections has been postponed Yes!...
People are angry Yes!.
Satan is happy Yes! .
But i know God is up 2 something because God's time is the Best!!!!

Postponement of the elections has given us more time to pray!!!

OPERATION PRAY & VOTE (OPV)
Very very correct sir, we need to go out and vote but we should not neglect the importance of prayers in all these, prayer is what controls what happens at the polls and after the polls.

Little Stories that could change the way you look at life.
1. Once upon a time I met a man who told me that telling the truth and making someone cry, is better than telling a lie and making someone smile and happy.
2. He said to me your true friends are those who will never avoid you just because they have met new friends.
3. As he kept on speaking to me, he said If some people do not appreciate and value my presence, I should work hard to make them value and appreciate my absence.
4. He said I must not be angry with anyone who is quiet on me because there must be a reason why they are quiet, and that I will get to know the reason later.
5. He told me it is always better to be a blessing to others at all times than to be a burden at all times.
6. He said I must learn to forgive others not because they deserve it but because I deserve the peace that comes with forgiveness.
7. I must know that everyone deserves a second chance and many more chances if they ask for forgiveness, but I must not loose my guard over their intentions.
8. I must not only talk to people in my free time, but I must free my time to talk to people.
9. I must know that the truth may hurt for a little while, but a lie will hurt for a long time.
10. I must learn to value and respect people who tell you the Truth no matter how painful the truth is.
11. I must make my decisions when I am in the right mood, not when I am angry, likewise I must not make promises when I am excited with high emotions.
12. I must know that some people are like candles that burn themselves to give light to others. I should not have regrets if I happen to be one of such candles.
13. I must learn to be a caring friend because it is a thousand times better than a careless lover.
14. I should value and protect my relationships of many years of investments because they are like a book that takes years to write but can get burnt only within few seconds.
15. He specifically said this repeatedly that If have a problem with someone, I should go tell the person and not go tell the world.
16. He said to me that I should know that nobody is too busy, it is just a matter of their priorities within a day.
17. He said to me that people can trust you when you are consistent with what you say and what you do.
18. He said with a low voice, only God can be totally trusted. Trust God 100%.
19. He then said no matter what, I must not forget those who helped and stood by me in my time of trials and during my difficult times.
20. I must always remember those who turned their backs on me in my difficult times of trials. Not for vengeance, but for the lesson of life.
21. I must be careful with those who put me into difficult times but I must never hate them. It is a lesson of life.
22. He said again I must be grateful at all times to God for this life and for living. It is a previlege and not a right.
23. As he was leaving me, he said, always remember how temporary this world is, I must always be conscious of the reality of eternity with God in heaven or with Satan in hell fire.

PoliticsI Can Feed With 5000 For Four Years. Is That Realistic? by amyblessed(op):
Great Nigerians, as we decide tomorrow, please do not sell your votes. That 5000 or whatever amount that will be given you wont feed you for the next four years. PoliticsRe: Atiku Hacking Mobile Phones With Automated Phone Call by amyblessed(f): 2:11pm On Feb 15, 2019
Zeemam:
There are multiple reports on social media that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is hacking the mobile phones of Nigerians via an automated phone call.

Mr. Abubakar and his running mate, Peter Obi, have been calling Nigerians randomly to ask that they vote for them but hackers have discovered that it’s a ploy by the duo to hack people’s phones.

The Truecaller app was used to identify one of these numbers on a phone that received the call last night. This shows 01 440 0049 with the name ‘PDP HQ’ as owner. The number only shows when the call is incoming. After the call has ended, you will only see ‘Hidden Number’ on the phone call history.

A hacker who refused to be named for obvious Cyber Security reasons urged Nigerians not to fall for the scam of the PDP and their candidates, noting that, they will access the phone records of individuals who fall for the scam.

“This is a high level scam that was used by the Russians during the 2016 election in the United States. They are replicating it in Nigeria and it could harmful to your phone, even beyond identity theft cases.

The hacker said those who do not use smartphones are less vulnerable because the ‘spam’ deployed is aimed at people using smartphones.

“Maybe iPhone users can be protected because they have a stronger anti-spam and anti-virus protection via the Apple iCloud, but those using android are their real target.

He urged Nigerians not to receive these phone calls from numbers they do not know or cannot verify as spam.
You actually dont need to hack anybody's phone before making such a call. It's only a novice in ICT that will believe this.

Christianity EtcWho Is Behind The Beautiful Picture, The Artist Or The Pencil? by amyblessed(op): 11:00am On Feb 15, 2019
Many of us might have heard the popular Wole Adenuga slogan "We are nothing but pencils in the hand of the Creator". A pencil is a tool used for writing and drawing. When an Artist uses a pencil to draw a beautiful picture, who gets the praise? Is it the pencil or the Artist? We all know it's the Artist, and it will be foolishness for anyone to start praising the pencil.
That is how we are in the hand of God, a tool. God is the workman, and whatever He does through us, the praise should go to Him, not to us the tool.
It's very good to appreciate a servant of God or anyone God uses to do something for us, but all the praise should go to God. We shouldn't see that person as the one behind our miracle because when God decides to do something for anyone, He's ready to use anybody, even the least person you expected.
It's not uncommon to see people hailing men of God and showering praises on them because of the miracles done through them. They forget that God as the Artist is the one behind that beautiful picture they are seeing, not the person or the pencil He used. Appreciate that person in any way you can, but all the praise and glory should go to God because God can never share His glory with anyone. He said in Isaiah 42:8 "I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images".
And if God uses you to do anything, let Him take all the praise and glory because you are just a tool in His hand. We all know an Artist will have varieties of pencils to choose from, and it will be out of place for a particular pencil he used to draw a particular picture to come and say, "If not for me, I bet this picture wouldn't have been drawn or look beautiful". Says who? Please never allow pride make you share God's glory with Him.
Even when God gives you wisdom and understanding of his Word, and you are able to teach others what they never knew about God and His word, never take it that you are too knowledgeable or wise, the wisdom is still His.

Speaking of arguing blindly, you are very wrong amyblessed because Moses accomplished the purpose for which he was sent by God to the Israelites, and it was not to lead them to the promise land but to bring them back to the God of their forefathers, and also bring the law of God to govern them.

And that he fully accomplished.

If you chose to follow the popular route, you are free to because it's easy now to claim to be a follower of Christ, but tell me if you were a Jew then and Jesus came with a different message to the law of Moses which you were used to, would you have believed in Him as the few did?

Tell me the truth?

It takes those who are spiritually sound to understand these things.

Remember Saul was killing the followers of Jesus thinking that they were erring before his arrest by Jesus, so do you think you would have been any different from him?

All the descendants of Abraham have an everlasting covenant with God by virtue of the circumcision, inclusive of Ishmael, so if you doubt this go and research without sentiments.

And just as Moses was to the Israelites, Mohammed was sent to the people of Ishmael to bring them back to the God of their forefathers.

I thought you at least were able to see what most cannot see when you acknowledged my thread on God is like a little child, but it seems you are not willing to hurt your fellow christian friends, like zither with whom you can't agree less that i'm have a misleading doctrine, even though you've clearly seen that it's not true, but you can suit yourself.

p.s. jesusjnr is a true disciple of Jesus who believes that Mohammed is a prophet of God just as Moses was a prophet of God, and just like someone who believes that Moses was a prophet of God doesn't make the person to be a Moses follower, so also does believing that Mohammed was a prophet of God not make someone a Mohammed follower.

So if Moses was meant to lead them to the promise land as you say, then you're saying that Moses failed in his purpose?

Because Moses didn't lead the people of Israel to the promise land.
I'm so sorry bro, I always thought I was conversing with a true believer that knows and believes the Bible, but I can see I was wrong in my assumption. Didnt you know why he could not lead them to the promised land? Are you a Bible believer or a Muslim, because I'm getting confused concerning your faith.
Moses sinned against God, though he repented of it, and God forgave him, but He told him he wont enter the promised land, and God ordained his deputy Joshua who later led the children of Isreal to the promised land.
Please stop arguing blindly because it wont do you any good and it wont change the Bible either.

How did they get to God and all those that walked with God before the coming of Jesus?
What do you mean by how did they get to God? God has been dealing with them right from their Father Abraham before Moses came. You cannot equate Moses and Mohammed like you did in your original post, to the effect that Moses is to the Isrealites what Mohammed is to the Muslims. The only duty of Moses was to lead them to the promised land. Moses was never their Messiah. Through out the Bible, many prophets prophesied about the coming Messiah (Jesus) who will be born to redeem them from sin and bring them back to God, not just them, but the whole world. And the Bible has said it that anyone who doesnt believe in that Messiah will not be saved, even the Jews who dont believe in Him, because He's the only WAY. So I dont see the point of your question.

Christianity EtcRe: M by amyblessed(f): 11:03am On Feb 14, 2019
My dear friend, I have been in agreement with you all these while, but I beg to defer in this based on what the bible said.
John 3:16 says; "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
He said whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, not whosoever believeth in Him or in Mohammed.
John 3:18 also says "He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God".
He did not say if you don't believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God, but you believe in Mohammed, then you are not condemned.
What of the Bible passage that says;
"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there's no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12)
Also look at John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me".
Muslims don't believe in Jesus, they believe in Mohammed. Since Jesus said that there's no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and also said He's the way, (not just one of the ways, note the definite article 'the'), the truth and the life, and no man can come to the Father except through Him, how are they going to be saved or come to the Father believing and following Mohammed instead of Jesus? Or could Jesus be lying or exaggerating when He said those words? Certainly not, that is the truth. If there are two ways to get to the father, he could have told us that we either go through Him or go through Mohammed, but he did not give us any other option apart from Himself. So how did you come about this your write up?
This new found doctrine of yours is not the Bible please, if you believe one can get to God either through Jesus or through Mohammed, then check yourself whether you are still preaching what is in the Bible or you have created another Bible.

Armed robbers while recounting their ordeal after a robbery will say "Thank God those policemen could not catch us". "Do you know they almost caught us?"
A fornicator after waiting anxiously for fear of being pregnant, and discovers she's not pregnant will say "Thank God for that pill I took, if not..." or after an abortion will still say "Thank God this abortion was successful"
A thief after escaping will say " Ah...Thank God, that man almost caught me o!"
A cheat in the exam hall after the exam will heave a sigh of relief, "Thank God that lecturer did not see this piece of paper that time, he almost saw it".
These are just but a few of what people do and say 'thank God' that nobody saw them or that they were able to escape without being caught, or that the consequences of that thing as expected did not happen to them. What are they actually thanking God for? For helping them escape the punishment for their sin. But they forgot that if they escape the punishment of men, there's no way of escaping God's punishment which is more severe than the punishment of man, except they repent.

Christianity EtcWho Are You Looking Up To? by amyblessed(op): 10:39am On Feb 11, 2019
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. I have come to learn that this heavenly race is a personal race. If you look up to somebody as your role model in this race, you might miss it. That person you are looking up to, how is his or her standing with God?
Many of us do things because they saw their pastor or a church member doing same thing, therefore to them, such things are right. That pastor or church member is certainly not the Bible? In as much as it is good to admire the good character you see in a Christian and try to do same, you shouldn't look up to him or her as a map that points the way to heaven.
Don't forget that the person you are looking up to is human, and can make mistakes. If he falls into a ditch, you are likely going to follow him. A saying in Igbo says "follow my words, do not follow my character". There are people that preach, but after the preaching, they do the opposite of what they preach.
If the person preaches the the Bible, follow what he preaches, and not following what he does. Everyone will stand alone on that day, you will not stand for him or her and that person will not stand for you too. Christ only is our role model!
Christianity EtcPlanning To End It All With Your Own Hands? See This! by amyblessed(op): 12:33pm On Feb 10, 2019
A young man almost committed suicide in my compound the other day if not for God's intervention. That brought me to this topic.
I have not ceased to wonder what goes on in the minds of people that see suicide as the best solution to their problems. Do they think that committing suicide will end their problems or give them rest from the problems of this life? What a delusion and a lie of the devil!
The ironic thing about suicide is that while trying to escape from the TEMPORAL problems of this world, the person is entering into an ETERNAL problem. A suffering that has no end compared to the suffering or problems of this world that you are sure to still come out of it one day, because every problem has an expiry date.
Anyone that takes his or her life is straightly going to hell, there are no two ways about that. And it doesn't matter whether you believe in the existence of hell or not. Your refusal to believe that there's hell does not change the fact of its existence. You will only find out to your dismay when you leave this world that you are doomed to suffer for eternity in hell.
What is that problem that makes you think that taking your life is the best way out of it? There's no problem in this universe that God cannot deliver anyone from, no matter how big you think it is. A God that created an express road in the red sea and made a way of escape for His children, is there any problem he cannot create a way of escape from? A God that did not allow the 3 Hebrew youths to be burnt by fire when they were thrown into the fire, is there any circumstance He cannot deliver anyone from? And so many other examples.
The only duty you have is to surrender your life totally to Him, and TRUST Him completely with all your heart. Follow Him and serve Him with all your heart. Don't look for a solution to your problem elsewhere apart from Him. Believe me, He will surely come to your rescue and help you out of that problem you think you cannot come out from.
