freecocoa:You don't see Him because you are blind to Him. Why not ask Him for sight |
malvisguy212:Okay dear. Wish you same! |
barcaboi:Everyone in Adam is condemned already. We are not "uncondemned" until we hear the gospel. How we respond to the gospel exposes our state of condemnation. If people who have not heard are not condemned, that means they are saved. And preaching to them about Christ would be unnecessary. Pls just study the scriptures i cited carefully. Thanks |
freecocoa:Everything makes perfect sense when we know the world is not about men but about God |
Tolerate could stand for peace, kindness, sympathy, care I thought this simple statement summarises the two religions. Where one (Islam) can accommodate the teachings of the other, does not see it as a threat or labels it as false but is unsympathetic towards its adherents. Unleashes terror on them at will. And may give condescending names On the other hand, Christianity rejects any form of ecumenism. It has zero tolerance for Islam. And would not allow for compromise. Sees Islam as darkness, labels it as false. And would not accommodate any of its teachings. However, it tolerates and is at peace with Muslims. Cares and shows genuine concern for Muslims. I don't know if i am a bit wrong about that of Islam but i am dang sure about Christianity LOL |
Peace with other faiths; No. Christianity has zero tolerance for other religions Peace with neighbours (who can be of any faith) yes. Absolutely |
I don't understand sympathisers of atheism. Why they never care to interact with humans in a humane way. Always talking down on anything that disagrees with them. No respect or true concern for others, proud and arrogant. We are still waiting for the result of your creative and intuitive thinking ability independent of God. Bring forth your fruits and stop talking gibberish |
cloudgoddess:Pray tell, Let's say i hear and see only news of poverty, war, underdevelopment, rape, corruption, intertribal crises in the media about Somalia. Every book i read about Somalia has a pretty bad tale with cover-images of poverty-stricken kids. And the media has succeeded in brainwashing everyone that Somalians live on trees and are always idling in corners beckoning on white "saviours" And everyone i meet, tells me Somalians are all very poor and sickly. Assuming i have never been to somalia. And one day i pay a visit and discover that many Somalians are civilised, happy and well fed after all. And the country is not too different from mine. Unfortunately i didn't take any pictures..and i return home to share with my brainwashed homies what i found, and how the media is not telling the whole story about somalia. And they ask me for proofs; like video camera or pics. Ooops, no evidence right? They may or may not believe me. But would i be very stup1d if i throw my personal experience and term it delusion or hallucination since its contradicting what everyone knows! Sigh |
cloudgoddess:You must be losing it if you think i will drop what is real for this |
Lol Ive not seen any scripture where it is said that those who would not hear the gospel, will be saved alongside those who believe. Rather, scripture says, he that believes not is condemned already (he has been condemned in Adam even before men started to preach the gospel) John 3:18 Even romans 10 : 13,14 Talks about the orders salvation must follow before it is attained: and hearing is one of them. Though i agree their punishment would not be as grievous as those who saw and tasted the gospel. But they will perish too |
KingEbukasBlog:Ok pls go read up all the scriptures i pointed out except you don't believe them too. That's where my proof lies. Except those links are talking of spiritual wealth in Christ, i don't see why a Christian brother would want me to look at them. |
KingEbukasBlog:Not yet. Until you have proven how biblical Christians make up above 60% of the wealthiest in the world. While celebrating and revealing our rich "Christians" please do keep your eyes on the acts of the apostles, the epistles of paul and then come back and look at the "gospel" books again and convince me you didn't see glaring contradictions. |
KingEbukasBlog:We can always agree about atheism being false and all but every other thing you say about Christians does not add up with what the bible says |
Deep sigh. I had to press the break when op was citing old literatures and he listed the bible. And he is not even sure of anything. Tell me who gets converted this way. All these just creates room for doubts and more doubts. |
CoolUsername:Someone said God is eternal. You asked how that can be proved. I said, we must possess eternal brains or spirits (to prove that something eternal is truly eternal) Eternal to prove eternal= Logical reasoning… Your next question is out of line I was expecting you to ask if "eternal to prove eternal" is logical |
Where are those Christians who believe men have "free will"? Can't you see how "free" humans are when they choose evil just all the time. The Op must be having "free will" i guess |
honourhim:There is nothing to ponder on. You just said what it is as it is in the scripture. Bro Scholar is not comfortable with this truth because it robs him of boasting in his "free will" Pls go through the link 5solas provided. I am happy for you. |
5solas:Wow! |
This is troubling |
CoolUsername:1, Logic 2, I have an eternal Spirit |
malvisguy212:Exactly but the righteous shall not be ashamed or dismayed |
CoolUsername:We need eternal brains. Or eternal spirits |
These people will never change. Why then did God bless us with medical doctors and natural herbs, if we were suppose to shun them? |
Weah96:If a man rapes and murders people, and he calls himself an atheist because his parents and close friends are atheists, even though he knows nothing or does not care about what he professes to be. Will it be sensible to call him an atheist? and accuse atheism of his crime? |
lepasharon:Jesus as a man had to pray but now He prays no more but intercedes on our behalf |
lepasharon:Is prayer not part of the plan He has for us? Define prayer |
HCpaul:Have you ever seen a book written like the bible? Whoever its author is, isn't it obvious He is a powerful one? His book has made men "lose their senses" and many have lost their lives for its content. Does that sound like just a book? Or rather, the author is like any other? |
Weah96:Oh the potential murderer should be given sustenance. But the christian who treats his neighbours right should be scorned and laughed at for believing in a supernatural being. Wow atheists are very logical people ![]() |
Then they have to kill all Christians since everything about Christianity is offensive to the non-christian |
Ranchhoddas:This is out of context. Or do you prefer to stand with evil even when it is illogical to you? |
You cant send people who are hell-bound to hell. The world was made and is being controlled by God. So no man can change or influence God's plan since for him to do that, he would have to be God too. Yes God is a tyrant to the unbelievers, to the lost and to those that perish. God is evil and wicked and unloving and merciless. But to us that are saved, who have eternal life, and are heirs God is truth, peace, joy, eternal life. God is good, compassionate, loving and merciful |
