ireneony:You are an "advocate" of truth too. So why are you pissed |
mizzbouqui:You know you do |
mrmrmister:No i have not mr |
Why do you hate Him so much that anything about Him dulls you? Who taught you to run away from the truth and seek comfort in lies? Who taught you to replace the true knowledge of God with going to church? Who taught you its okay to call on God without knowing the truth? Who taught you to think God is not suppose to be in your life, only your church life? Who taught you to love the things God hates? Who taught you to live like everyone and expect eternal bliss? Who taught you to live like there is no God but expect the best from Him? Who taught you to say with your tongue and do otherwise? Who taught you that God is an emotional judge and not a righteous judge? Who taught you that you are a child of God? Who taught you to be so quick in rebuking truth bearers? |
Arguing with atheists can be draining. I don't know how people do it. Talking of those on front page. Kai BTT: Who made the demon a pastor |

THE WH0RE sees Peter as the first pope upon whom God had chosen to build His church LOL (Matthew 16:18 ). It holds that he had authority (primacy) over the other apostles. The Roman Catholic Church maintains that sometime after the recorded events of the book of Acts, the Apostle Peter became the first bishop of Rome, and that the Roman bishop was accepted by the early church as the central authority among all of the churches. It teaches that God passed Peter’s apostolic authority to those who later filled his seat as bishop of Rome. This teaching that God passed on Peter’s apostolic authority to the subsequent bishops is referred to as “apostolic succession.”Right? The Roman Catholic Church also holds that Peter and the subsequent popes were and are infallible when addressing issues “ex cathedra,” from their position and authority as pope. It teaches that this infallibility gives the pope the ability to guide the church without error. The Roman Catholic Church claims that it can trace an unbroken line of popes back to St. Peter, citing this as evidence that it is the true church, since, according to their interpretation of Matthew 16:18 , Christ built His church upon Peter.Lolzzzz But while Peter was central in the early spread of the gospel (part of the meaning behind Matthew 16:18-19 ), the teaching of Scripture, taken in context, nowhere declares that he was in authority over the other apostles, or over the church (having primacy). See Acts 15:1-23 ; Galatians 2:1-14 ; and 1 Peter 5:1-5 . Nor is it ever taught in Scripture that the bishop of Rome, or any other bishop, was to have primacy over the church. Scripture does not even explicitly record Peter even being in Rome. Rather there is only one reference in Scripture of Peter writing from “Babylon,” a name sometimes applied to Rome ( 1 Peter 5:13 ). Primarily upon this and the historical rise of the influence of the Bishop of Rome come the Roman Catholic Church’s teaching of the primacy of the bishop of Rome. However, Scripture shows that Peter’s authority was shared by the other apostles ( Ephesians 2:19-20 ), and the “loosing and binding” authority attributed to him was likewise shared by the local churches, not just their church leaders (see Matthew 18:15-19 ; 1 Corinthians 5:1-13 ; 2 Corinthians 13:10 ; Titus 2:15 ; 3:10-11 ). Also, nowhere does Scripture state that, in order to keep the church from error, the authority of the apostles was passed on to those they ordained (the idea behind apostolic succession). Apostolic succession is “read into” those verses that the Roman Catholic Church uses to support this doctrine (2 Timothy 2:2 ; 4:2-5 ; Titus 1:5 ; 2:1 ; 2:15 ; 1 Timothy 5:19-22 ). Paul does NOT call on believers in various churches to receive Titus, Timothy, and other church leaders based on their authority as bishops or their having apostolic authority, but rather based upon their being fellow laborers with him ( 1 Corinthians 16:10 ; 16:16 ; 2 Corinthians 8:23 ). What Scripture DOES teach is that false teachings would arise even from among church leaders, and that Christians were to compare the teachings of these later church leaders with Scripture, which alone is infallible (Matthew 5:18 ; Psalm 19:7-8 ; 119:160 ; Proverbs 30:5 ; John 17:17 ; 2 Peter 1:19-21 ). The Bible does not teach that the apostles were infallible, apart from what was written by them and incorporated into Scripture. Paul, in talking to the church leaders in the large city of Ephesus, makes note of coming false teachers. To fight against their error does NOT commend them to “the apostles and those who would carry on their authority”; rather, Paul commends them to “God and to the word of His grace” (Acts 20:28-32 ). It is Scripture that was to be the infallible measuring stick for teaching and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17 ), not apostolic successors. It is by examining the Scriptures that teachings are shown to be true or false ( Acts 17:10-12 ). Was Peter the first pope? The answer, according to Scripture, is a clear and emphatic “no.” Peter nowhere claims supremacy over the other apostles. Nowhere in his writings (1 and 2 Peter) did the Apostle Peter claim any special role, authority, or power over the church. Nowhere in Scripture does Peter, or any other apostle, state that their apostolic authority would be passed on to successors. Yes, the Apostle Peter had a leadership role among the disciples. Yes, Peter played a crucial role in the early spread of the gospel (Acts chapters 1-10). Yes, Peter was the “rock” that Christ predicted he would be (Matthew 16:18 ). However, these truths about Peter in no way give support to the concept that Peter was the first pope, or that he was the “supreme leader” over the apostles, or that his authority would be passed on to the bishops of Rome. Peter himself points us all to the true Shepherd and Overseer of the church, the Lord Jesus Christ ( 1 Peter 2:25 ) |

johnydon22:Smh for you. Thank God i know better today. Else i would have been saying this rubbish |
rahymat:Something similar has happened to me too. Almost died on my bed 4yrs ago, was partially awake when i got attacked by a force. It tried to draw my breath away, i struggled hard but no way. I was a gonner until i heard an unfamiliar, very gentle and low voice but yet audible enough. It called my name twice...the second time it called, i regained my freedom. I woke up fully panting for air.. When this happened, it was so real but sooner than i expected doubt cropped in and i was glad to dismiss it as mere hallucination. Itwas easier that way i thought. Four months later i got born again. From that period till today, i experience several spiritual attacks with my eyes wide open. |
Speechless3:Thats what Nigerians call beauty these days LOL |
Ranchhoddas:Smh, only if i had known you were this foolish |

You believe the doctrine of election too? that's great. |
Ranchhoddas:Yes pls. Look at these. John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. Ephesians 1:4-5 Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, Romans 8:28-30 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. Revelation 13:8 And all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 2 Timothy 1:9 Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed. Ephesians 1:4 Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. Mark 13:20 And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Romans 9:16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. John 6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Luke 10:22 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.” Mark 13:27 And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Romans 8:29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 1 Peter 1:20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you Romans 9:11-13 Though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad—in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls— she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” Acts 18:10 For I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 9:18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. Romans 9:1-33 I am speaking the truth in Christ—I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit— that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh. They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen. ... John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, Romans 9:17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” John 17:9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. Romans 8:29-30 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. Romans 8:7-8 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Ephesians 1:11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, John 17:6 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 1 Peter 1:2 According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you. Hebrews 6:1-20 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits. For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, ... Romans 15:1-33 We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.” For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, ... Romans 9:19-20 You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” Romans 8:30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. |
