A vital question.
Politics › Re: Michael Oluwatobi Adebowale Is The 2nd Woolwich Suspect by AnanseK(m): 10:43am On May 24, 2013
mu2sa2: These guys are just two out of tens of thousands of converts to Islam in UK. This murder is just one of many others that are committed in UK and the murderers belong to all faiths. So keep your jaundiced view to yourself. The incident itself reveals two facts -
i. murder has been committed; and
ii. what michael said after the killing is undeniable truth - British forces, who are christians, murdered hundreds of innocent muslim women, children and men in Iraq.
Why is christianity becoming less attractive to these guys? Are these marginalised and frustrated persons just looking for "vengeance" against the society? Is islam attractive to them because of it's conflict with the west? Is it a case of your enemy's enemy is your friend or are they genuinely attracted by the basic tenents of islam? If it was in the 60's and 70's would they have become communist or hippies?
Politics › Re: Buhari, Tinubu, Fashola Lead Kaduna Rally by AnanseK(m): 9:35am On May 24, 2013
Lilimax: Not at this time sad. I foresee this rally turning bloody undecided.
They should shelve this rally to a later date cos a lot of people are aggrieved already due to
senseless killings up there in the North in recent weeks.
You are deaf dumb and blind. You forseee nothing. The rally will be done in peace.

Oh yes,yes Madam Patience is also chubby and we like her.

Politics › Re: British-born Michael Adeboloja Labelled A Nigerian: Why? by AnanseK(m): 5:05pm On May 23, 2013
obadiah777: BUT HE IS A NIGERIAN. YOU ARE NOT WHERE YOU ARE BORN. YOU ARE YOUR HERITAGE. IF I PLANT AN APPLE SEED IN CHINA WHAT WILL COME OUT ? AN APPLE. IF I PLANT THE SAME APPLE SEED IN NIGERIA WHAT WILL COME OUT ? AN APPLE. YOU ARE NOT WHERE YOU ARE BORN. THATS A PREPOSTEROUS CARNAL AND SHALLOW ASSERTION. WE ALL HAVE LINEAGES. JUST CUZ A CHINESE MAN IS BORN IN NIGERIA DOES NOT MEAN HE IS NIGERIAN
I really wonder. Is Obama a Kenyan? Was John F. Kennedy an Irish man or an American ? What of Shwartnegger? Is there any American in America. Is the British Queen German? What about her husband?
Politics › Re: Terrorist Informants In The Army Arrested by AnanseK(m):
The COAS in my view is becoming a politician and another apple polisher, a courtier and a sycophant. Spies, traitors and double-agents are as old as war itself. He should stop grouchind and groaning about one informant in the army. There were hundreds and thousands of informers in all wars around the world. The success of war is not only about killing people and destroying buildings but also about sealing all information leaks and maintaining military morale and alligiance. This BH war,is not even a war with a proper trained army for God' sake!
I am a "bloody civilian" not even qualified to speak to an army coporal about the strategies and challenges of military engagement. But why is Ihejirika pretending that having a super grass during conflict is unusual and must be shared with the whole population and the rest of the world? There will always be informants as long as there are conflicts. Informants are very common among police even in their everyday work and this is all over the world - but variable in extent among nations. Will the COAS continue to inform us everyday he gets an information leak in his plans? I think he should better get on with the work(including the management of information leaks) and stop grouching.Unless he has a sinister motive and an agenda.
Christianity Etc › Re: Imo Youths Lock Out Bishop-elect by AnanseK(m): 12:44pm On May 23, 2013
Abagworo: Most of you are ignorant of this issue and should 1st of all study the entire situation before commenting. You cannot have a particular session imposing themselves on others for nearly 80years and claiming justice. This might be the beginning of the end of Catholicism in the Southern Igbo area if the issue is not handled with care.
They can go back to amadioha worship.Catholic Church is universal and that's why we have Igbo Bishops in other parts of Nigeria. The church cannot be reduced to a flatform for ethnic Jingoism. And I am not even a christian - but I care.
Politics › Re: Ihejirika - Soldiers Leak Information To Boko-Haram Insurgents by AnanseK(m): 12:38pm On May 23, 2013
AnanseK: General Ihejirika is heating up the polity and may actually have his own agenda. if military movement information reaches the terrorist how is he sure it is through his soldiers and not through Boko Haram effort or other supportes of BH? What value does he get as a commander by telling this information to the public? Why can't he search for the leakage through his intelligence and seal it if he is really a gallant and brave soldier with the unity of Nigeria in mind? In my opinoion this announcement by Ihejirika is cowardly and defeatist coming from the most senior military officer - unless of course he is pursuing an agenda.
There are saboteurs in every war, fisrt world war, second world war,the Vietnam war, the war in the Congo and every war and a General is morethan expected to know that. I wonder what version of training manual they use to train Generals in the Nigerian army now.Does he - Ihejirika, expect us, civilians to go into the army and solve this well anticipated challenge?

Babasessy: Gov Peter Obi was responsible for chattering the Overland Airline that is conveying the corpse
Hiring a plane is spelled - Charter and the continuous form is "chartering".

To talk quickly and continuosly about things that are not important is "chattering".

Afam4eva: According to popular opinion, the most popular governors are Akpabio, Amaechi, Chime and Fashola. You see that 3 out of 4 of them are PDP. Even during Obasanjo's time, the best Donald Duke was PDP.
What about Ibori and Alamesighia?
Politics › Re: Ezeife- They Have Made Nigeria Ungovernable For Jonathan by AnanseK(m): 12:03pm On May 22, 2013
Even a Local Government Area would be ungovernable for Jonathan. He simply doesn't have the capacity. He is where he is not through merit or documented records of meritorious quality leadership. His presence in Aso Rock is due to exploitation of sectional and religious sentiments and should not be maintained. We have had enough of blunders and lack of direction for our country.Long live Nigeria.

Toktee: Can someone please explain to me what this old foool is saying here,"our man iz there, is not good going to compete with him;by 2015 every zone might have produce a leader except south east" i have a question for you,
can a cameronian become a president of mali............nah,you guys are from biafram republic don't forget so soon nah,and who told this old man that middlebelt will go with cunning people like igbos, finally, nobody made nigerian ungovernable for Jonathan for the following reason....
1.bokohallam is created by pdp during obasanjo tenure in 2007,u can google the death of yusuf in the hands of ill train nigerian police force,
2.Johnathan was pushed over to take the mantle of leadership where his experience is inadequate.
3.Poverty and unemployment plus massive curruption in the country is the creation pdp, from 2007 upto date no government official is behind bars for curruption as if it dose not exist.
Above all the root caused of all the above mentioned is lack of good leadership in the country, therefore i put it to you that nobody has made the country ungovernable for anybody.
Excellent and straight to the point man. You are 100% right.

OAM4J: "Insulting" Public Figures

If someone says the president is clueless, Buhari is bloodthirsty, Tinubu is corrupt, please give reasons why you disagree with such comments without insulting the poster or the poster parents.
.
We have had more bloodshed in the last 30 months than any other time in the history of Nigeria (with possible exception of the war years). We had more corruption in the last 30 months than all the corruption that happened in Nigeria since independence and as far as cluelessness is concerned we have lead the world for about 30 months now and no challenger in site so we continue.
I'd take that '2000 Nigerians fleeing to Niger' statement with a truckload of salt! And if they have no skeletons in their cupboards (and are actually Nigerians), why are they running to Niger?
Because they face indiscriminate killing and destruction as happened in Baga very recently. If I was in those boader towns I would leave to a neighbouring poor but safe and respectable country , lead by intelligent leaders.
