It's not. I worded it wrongly, sorry for that. But UI/UX isn't easy to learn. After learning HTML and JavaScript (both of which are easy), you'd have to learn CSS which is extremely hard to tackle. Books (even the prestigious for dummies) fail to go deep into CSS because it's extremely tricky, one thing may work on one browser and fail completely on another.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, UI/UX designers also design interfaces for phone apps and desktop apps, another beast on its own. It's not easy at all, and what's even more annoying is that there are too many people in that field who would be better than you, so you'll feel intimidated most of the time
