Onlytruth:In that case, Ogbaru should be part of Onicha then. |
agabaI23:Biko ezigbo nwannam, kwanyere onwe gi ugwu. Biko edezili ihe ndi aha. Na ala Igbo ana aso ya aso mana asopuru ya kwa. |

Actually, the ancestral home of THE jajas is Amaigbo. Not Orlu. May be in Orlu senatorial zone. |
@Poster: You should be asking if Edvin van d.S, AT 40, Giggs 37 and scholes 35 can survive this season. |
Well done Papilo. But why is it only him all the time?. |
Ugwu ana atu egwu--The dreaded one. |
you guys may as well protest to the national assembly if seun did not obliged to una request.nonsense
We will. |
The fact is that Nigeria will remain solid even more than any of you biafran sons could imagine but facts should not be distorted in an attempt to re-write history.I asked why Ironsi didn't enforce sanction of Nzeogwu even when the north were calling for justice and someone said he was kept him in the cell for onward prosecution before the counter-coup took place. .can you imagine that. . ?
Avoid repetitions, the question has been addressed long time ago. |
I wonder when all these cyber-biafrans would grow up. . .the true extent of ibo should be demonstrated practically and not indulging in some mere rantings.na wa o.
Irrelevant. |
supereagle:The reasons I gave was what actually happened. Ask those who were born by then. Isinweke is my home town and I do post from this town as well. |
Katsumoto:While all his establishments were concentrated in Yorubaland, Warri, Sapele, Asaba, etc suffered severely. |
ChineduEZ:@Chinedu. TAKE IT EASY, there is no need for you to insult him. Moreover, he is better than you in that game. Since when has a 24 year old considered old. Or are you younger than that?. Respect, biko. |
Ibime:Yes, but without due regard to minorities in the then Western Nigeria. That is one of his failures. |
chyz:Wonders shall never end. I know Jarus can never do such a thing. @Aisha: Don't tell me you are an Igbo/Ijo hater. If you are not, then restore the thread to where it initially belonged. |
@Bluetooth: The Sarduana of Sokoto is different from the Sultan of Sokoto. Verify your facts before posting. The Sarduana of Sokoto Ahmadu Bello died during the coup of Jan 1966. |
Buhari's regime was fond of humiliating Nigerians who were let to work or could not sing national anthems. A lot of civil servants were flogged with koboko wipes, some were forcefully knelt down for hours. The regime was so barbaric that IBB had to come in. |
Buhari's regime wielded absolute power unnecessarily. For example a shop owner could be beaten up for price of a commodity which the military felt was excessive. Using wrong tactics to control inflation. |
Nah, u wrong! Any Ibo man caught in a crime is innocent; even if he has the meat of a half-eaten human limb, with blood dripping, hanging from the side of his mouth!
Do you know the punishment for coup under military decree ? I doubt if it's just keeping suspects under lock and key that is involved. Why didn't he prosecute them ?
There were plans to put them on trial but the Ironsi regime was short lived. |
Gross human right abuse. They were jailing people for 70 years, 105 years etc. Even innocent politicians like Ekwueme were locked up. |
So you are supporting Ironsi for turning a blind eye and pardoning Nzeogwu along with his cohorts. . . .the north cried for justice but he chose to protect his kinsman that committed treasonable felony.there is nothing diplomatic other than official perjury and abuse of office which led to the prsent day ethnic problems
Ironsi did not pardon Nzeogwu. Nzogwu was still under lock when Ironsi was overthrown. |
ARROBA:Ademoyega is dead as well. He died 2/3 years ago. You know in Nigeria anything goes. People are bribed to give falsified evidence. For example Bola Ige's murder. Those who claimed the saw bullet wounds on Tafawa's decomposed body might have lied because Ndigbo were involved. Only God knows. |
ezeagu:@Ezeagu, it will be waste of time digging up those annoying post. I have had battles with him over that issue. At one certain point, he was writing in Ngwa dialect to me to display how different they are from others. |
Chinenye believes there is no need for a nunited Igbo. He feels Igbo is a recent creation. He feels Ngwa should be on her own like Ikwerre. He also feels Etiti, Mbano, Owerri, Mbaise, Ndoki, Umuahia etc should be separate Ethnic nationalities. @ChinenyeN, even the Yorubas who forged a more recent unity are fond of their Yorubaness. |
Mbaise, Etiti and Mbano are southern Igbo groups. In Imo state politicss, no group has lorded over other groups. |
Obiagu1:They are different. Abagworo is a little bit older like 28/29. While Abagworo has Igbo feelings, the other lacks it. |
Diogu--Warrior. |
Nkasiobi--to comfort someone. |
