@ Iyke - D I feel u bro |
Is there any reason y Dariye after being impeached by whatever number of legislators was not immediately arrested and prosecuted according to the rule of law? |
This is incredible! in nigeria we take 1 step foward and 5 back! i doubt that there is a way out! |
@ omo eko u asked someone to use spell check?! we might have to beg bill gates to invent tense check for u! ![]() |
yaradua has cattarh and goes abroad for treatment! what does that tell us of his plans for this country if he does become president?! |
Belloti are u for real? how u can say that 1 individual (Buhari) out of a population of 140 million is the only way out of our present predicament really beats me (sound similar to Abacha's campaign people?) with people like u my dear, it is no wonder we are being held hostage in our own country by a bunch of terribly corrupt (in every aspect) people who honestly do not deserve to walk the face of the earth. if we as nigeriand had any self respect left, we wont even be having this debate cos the likes of Buhari and all other extrimists would be in self exile out of utter shame for their actions. Buharis act of performing all those dastardly acts on retrospective laws in itself is CORRUPTION!!! the earlier we stand up for our own rights the better for us. dual nationality or not, we only have one country and that is nigeria. if ghana could be turned around, so can nigeria. but it will not happen out of sycophancy. |
[Countries like China etc are the fastest growing economies in the world today, but I can assure you you'll find more poverty there than you'd find in most African countries. ] @joshO still doesnt justify it. |
[qIf you can explain all these achievements to my grand dad in the village who can not enjoy electricity 2days in a week, who can not afford a bottle of kerosene to light up his lantern, not to talk of drinking good water. I will be happy @saintchux God bless u. my point exactly. is the average nigerian too thick to realise this? before u start to talk of reforms or fighting corruption, there is the need to alleviate the suffering of the man on the street. |
no doubt he as every other nigerian should be given a chance to clear himself but the point i am trying to make is that the senate is not a credible body (in my own opinion) to clear Adenuga or anyone else for that matter. he should have his day in court. as far as i know, that is the arm of government empowered to do that job and not the senate. they are there to legislate and nothing else. (even that they do not do properly) |
apology accepted |
too narrow minded. such a pity |
i only hope that the eguje u envisage from this propaganda will last u a life time! and quite frankly nigeria does not need myopic and shallow people like yourself who are unable to accomodate others. |
pardon me for assuming that u were mature enough to carry on an adult and decent conversation. but as u are not, u may want to GET OUT of the forum as i know for a fact that u do not own it!! |
sorry Afam i meant Big B1 |
@ Afam what has brain washing got to do with the discussion at hand and also since when is the senate a credible voice? the same senate that collects ghana must go to pass controversial bills? come on Afam give us a break. this is not to say that Adrnuga is guilty but then again, who is to say that he isnt? afterall has he told us how he came about his stupendous wealth? until such a time as the average nigerian on the street can overcome sycophancy and call a spade a spade, we will not move an inch foward! |
[q@ Nigeriaone, Nice analyses. But my concern here is that since the figures has been made official, by the council of state where do we go from here because it will certainly be used for allocation of resources and also for allocation of more seats in the federal seats. It such a sad thing that the lazy hausa-fulani's are a drain pipe to this nations's resources. I think we are due for a revolution. i totally agree! |
@ Bankole01 u have made the most sense in this thread! spot on. i cant think of one more word to add. we need more of your type. |
@ dblock. i wonder why u are being so personal about this atiku issue. firstly let me say that i am only on the side of nigeria and not on the side of any one person. have u for one minute paused to wonder how come all these allegations are only coming up in the 7th year of being vice president of nigeria and as such, the closest person to OBJ politically and in govt. u named various organisations who have either investigated or agreed with reports about Atiku being corrupt. but do these organisations just randomly pick on one person/anybody to investigate? and if so y in the 7th year of service and just when Atiku has fallen out with his boss. i wish some of these organisations will randomly pick on my state governor or misgovernor (as i think the later is more appropriate) chief Lucky Igbinedion for his crimes. the origin of the problems in nigerian politics is when a contender is prepared to do anything possible to get into office. this tells me personally that he is not doing all of that for my benefit. nobody who only wants to help me will go so much out of their way to do it to the point of declaring it a 'do or die' as our beloved president has. (2007 election) Atiku may be unfit to be part of the government but so are all the others including those who are waiting to resume office (as they have already been selected by OBJ and other PDP criminals) i am not for one second advocating in Atiku's favour but what i am saying is that no one should be singled out and no one should be protected. these people are all corrupt including OBJ and his closest friends/allies and relatives. they should all be brought to book or at least disgraced! so coming back to the question. 'is Atiku corrupt?' my answer is yes. but so is obasanjo and quite frankly, every last one of them! |
is Atiku in london? anyone know his location? |
until such a time as accountability begins to feature in the nigerian community, our so called leaders will continue to take us for a ride by carting away the produce of oug God given resources. what a pity. no one but no one should be above the law as is clearly the case in out beloved country. and by the way how come EFCC has not gone after IBB? does he enjoy immunity too? |
@ seun. their materialistic nature probably drives them to corruption. |
